Awesome small-town grocery. Nice hot and cold deli with sandwiches, take and bake pizza, salads, a lot of stuff looks house made. Nice wine and beer selections, as well as a pretty food variety of more artisans products I wouldn't expect to see as much in a country store. Jo-jos are great. Will absolutely be back.

Can’t believe anyone would give negative reviews of this beautiful gem of a market. Not only does this store have an unusually wide selection of quality products for a small-town store, not only does their owner have high standards for their deli (which has been consistent for decades) but also the owners are just salt of the earth people. They invest so much in the Gaston community through volunteering and donating to the school, feeding volunteers at a community clean-up day, helping families in need. I grew up in Gaston, my parents grew up in Gaston, this store and the owners have been an example of not only what good a business can do for a community but also how the kindness of individuals can change a person’s life for the better. Anyone leaving bad reviews must have had a rare bad experience and never saw the whole picture of what this store really is and why everyone, not just locals should support places like this. Try the Jojo’s, I didn’t know how spoiled we were until I tried them at different stores - Gaston Market’s jojos are hands down the best! Thank you Jeff and Elena for setting such a great example for us all.

This place is awesome. Make sure you buy the jojo's here. They are the best! The people here are really nice. There is a lot of unique stuff and things for sale here, that you don't find in most places. There is a lot of local food/drinks/ stuff here. It's awesome. Lots of good vibes. It's got that old tyme feel to the place.

We have always had a great experiene at this market. The staff is always so nice and helpful. They have very good Brie and just recently I request some from the glass case and the sweetheart behind the counter gave me a piece to take home and sample. The little things like this will keep me coming back and I loved the cheese so much I will be coming back for more and very frequently. Great place in Gaston!

Pretty awesome little market. Can get everything you need for dinner in a pinch. Has everything you could need for food. Prices are a little high but it's to be expected from smaller stores.

Local grocery stores, not part of a chain, tend to be a bit pricey. Expect almost 7-11 prices. Deli sandwiches are good, but the fried foods are a bit too long under the heat lamp most of the time. Service here is always friendly, and helpful. Western Family brands are here (thus the high prices).

Open late, redoing their freezer section so that will be awesome! Have really good cuts of meat and great cheese, but be prepared to spend extra $$ due to rural area. Produce could use some variety

Tough to find items in the store I was looking for, they don't have prices on everything so alot of guessing. Store looked dirty and very high prices. Now I understand a small country store will have higher prices, but the store needs a little oraganization and a deep cleaning upgrade. I found most items I needed but probably won't ever return.

Best little grocery store around. They have the best pizza and it beats Papa Murphys. Their meat is the freshest around. Produce is always great as well.

telling you what best JoJo's this side of the Mississippi but the ranch is terrible it's got s*** tons of vinegar no good they're just trying to save the shelf life and the judges are a little overpriced they charge about $4 a pound which is ridiculous when you can get 10 lb of potatoes for two bucks I think they live off their deep fried food at this Market but nevertheless I'm going to give them one star and hey the judges are to die for I'll give that there's nothing else there you want FYI probably should bring your own Ranch

I did work around there. We would go there for lunch at the deli and their fried chicken is the best , perfectly seasoned and always moist and well worth the trip to eat there.
