What a great view of the bay ad the scenic railroad. Very nice check in staff. Pool looked nice. Would have like to see a hot tub too as we had been driving all day. Our room was a little musty smelling but not bad. It was clean, nicely made beds. We walked down the to the pier for diner.Nearby activities: Right across the street from the scenic railroad that we rode the following morning

This place was great. It was a very rainy weekend when we had our people in from our if town. We camp host out of a school bus in a neighboring state park that's too small to host guests. The concierge was very kind and accommodating allowing, as well as, encouraging us to use the shared space for board games. They even have a cupboard full of their own! The rooms were clean and modern. Great vibe and good times.

We checked in in the middle of the night due to our Airbnb being filled with black mold. We had to leave and find somewhere else to stay. This establishment was welcoming and accommodating. The room was spotless, the hotel new and beautiful. The staff was incredibly accommodating. This hotel was a godsend for us. We would stay again in a heartbeat! And the gentlemen with the accent at the front desk was Amazing! I hope the owner sees this and knows the value of having an employee who is so kind and welcoming.

The guy who waits on the morning breakfast was a champ. My son said he deserved a raise. Our duvet had old blood on it and that was super gross. It was on the up side of it so I was confused how house keeping missed it? I couldn’t tell if it had been washed or not but either way—don’t put that out for a customer.I felt like the customer service could’ve been better. The mattresses were completely worn out and so our backs were aching after staying here.We got food poisoning and they let us have an extra hour to get out of the room which was nice. The overall experience wasn’t horrible but we would not return.

This place would not be the same without the Scottish chap. Whatever they’re paying him I guarantee it’s not enough. He’s incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating. We came here for the historic train ride and the location of the hotel was ideal and the breakfast was well stocked. Rooms were clean, but my main concern is that the door wouldn’t lock and the pillows were flat. The flat pillows were uncomfortable, but the main thing is that hotel doors should be able to lock, cause that is a HUGE safety issue. The Scottish man tried to help best he could, but there’s only so much you can do when it’s a mechanism issue with the door.I think whoever owns or manages the hotel need to invest in finding a solution to the rooms that have glitchy doors, and also get new pillows (pillows aren’t that expensive and housekeeping should fluff them between guests to keep them from becoming hard flaccid pancakes). Also please get vending machines that work because there is nothing open late nearby and if you wake up in the middle of the night starving and thirsty you’re kinda screwed. It could also be beneficial to fix the hot tub and sauna cause it seems like a lot of complaints come from those amenities being unavailable for the past few months. There were plenty of guests during what considerably seems to be more of the off season so I think it’s reasonable to invest some money back into your hotel. If it weren’t for the Scottish gentleman I would have given it one star.Rooms: Updated carpeting would make the room less dusty, and get new pillows please. It would be so easy to at least fix the pillow problem.Safety: Invest in making sure doors actually lock or have those rooms unavailable until you find a solution.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive (and cheerfully helped me with a scheduling mixup I made), and the location is perfect as a jumping-off point for exploring that section of the Oregon Coast.Walkability: Super restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed 2 Nights there's fair nice staff. But one night Sunday night around 11pm there was a younger lady 19 years can't remember her name .. But I could say this she had a great personality and cute I wanted to keep talking too her .but I knew she was on the clock . Overall fair ... I give the Garibaldi Hotel 3 Stars . Out of 5 ... the young lady who work the front desk that Sunday night 4 stars ....👌

Rooms were clean and the breakfast was your typical continental: eggs, waffles, apples, bananas, yogurt...etc..Don't expect anything fancy but the breakfast is just what you expect to give you a little energy in the morning. The pool was also very nice and clean!! Would stay here again absolutely!

We had such a wonderful night at this hotel. We had an airbnb snafu and the kind people at Hotel Garibaldi saved us! We arrived late, and were warmly welcomed. The room was extremely comfortable and visually appealing. Then when we woke up late (just min before breakfast was set to close) I called and they said they would wait until we had eaten before they closed. It was so kind of them! Food was great, loved the waffles. I would stay here again no problem.

I was terribly upset to find out the Jacuzzi and Sauna were NOT working and haven't been working for quite some time. That is the reason I chose this hotel. The swimming pool is maybe 50 degrees or less another disappointment. The bed in room 307 closest to the bathroom was uncomfortable. I am not happy at all with my stay and for the price I sure was pissed!! I would NOT recommend this hotel!!

We were welcomed in by the friendliest front desk clerk with warm fresh-baked cookies!! The room was super clean and relaxing. The toiletries were nice and not cheap or overpowering smells. Spa-like! Only complaint was that there was a noisy generator going off pretty frequently. Garibaldi is tiny but this hotel is centrally located to the historic train ride, the port, great dining and fun antique/treasures shops. Thank you, Hotel Garibaldi!

I love this hotel. It was very clean and extremely comfortable. Beds and pillows were like sleeping on clouds. I was able to visit with my sister, who was given away when she was a baby. 60 years of searching and waiting. I will definitely stay here again. Only a couple of things to note. I forgot my wall wart for my phone and no USB ports in room also my husband is diabetic and found breakfast could use more diabetic foods.

The location is great. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a newer staff member who checked us in who didn't provide any information about the hotel and its amenities. The room we were in needed new mattresses, which I feel should have been taken care of without us having to mention the issue when we were checking out. All things considered, we plan to stay here again the next time we need to stay in Garibaldi.

Last minute decided to get a room while in town. Was greeted by friendly staff who offered fresh warm cookies after checking in. Staff was amazing all around, especially Jeremy at the front desk. Beds were soft and easy to sleep in. Shower pressure was good and plenty of hot water.Unfortunately the hot tub was down but swimming pool was open and while slightly on the colder side, it was very enjoyable and no complaints.Breakfast had waffles, eggs/sausage/cheese in a cup, cereal, bagels, biscuits and gravey, and much more!TV has plenty of channels to choose from. Mine was hooked up to an external speaker, so I never figured out how to change the volume, but minor details. If you need something to do during the day, go across the street and train tracks, and ride the Oregon Coastal Train. 90-minute round-trip to Rockaway beach.Definitely a hotel I would stay at again if back in town. Give them a chance!

Great little hotel and very centrally located near lots of attractions. I rarely get to say this but the beds were very comfortable which made me so happy. Our 3rd floor room was very clean and well appointed. We were visiting off season and our room was very quiet. The hot breakfast bar was not being offered so they provided breakfast sandwiches or burritos by order which I cannot review since we didn't get ours (perhaps another patron took ours or who knows) so we filled up on waffles and yogurt instead. The front desk staff were very friendly. I would stay here again just for the soft, comfy beds.

We picked Garibaldi to stay based on the map of our trip and Hotel Gatibaldi based on decent reviews. We were a little discouraged as we rolled into town and saw it was a fishing village. But when we walked in the door of Hotel Garibaldi we were taken back to be standing in the lobby of a new well done boutique hotel. It was nicely furnished with thoughtful nooks and coastal art. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and even the AC was quiet. The people were friendly. If there is any knock it would be the breakfast. There were waffles and cereals but you had to microwave your eggs and there were no meats. There were several breakfast places nearby so this didn't really effect our trip. So far this is the nicest hotel on our trip.Walkability: Garibaldi is small so there are several eateries you could walk to.

Jeremy at the counter made our stay the best we have ever had. he went above and beyond his "job" to make our stay as pleasant as possible. we will be going back to stay, just because of him...I highly recommend this hotel. plenty of parking. The continental breakfast is really good. My only complaint is that the beds are a little hard for my liking...

Greeted the second I walked in. Check in was super easy and fast. Room was ready 2 hours early. Room was very nice and clean. Mini fridge/freezer, microwave, iron with ironing board and hair dryer. Great complimentary breakfast with plenty of options. Pool, hot tub and sauna kept us all entertained after our day on the train. Many down town stores / restaurants are within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

We got in early and the staff was exceptional at getting us in before check in. The room was clean and sheets and bedding were great. Indoor pool was perfect for the kiddos and me and my wife enjoyed the hot tub. Pet friendly made this a no brainer place to stay. And the continental breakfast and warm cookies at night make it a place we want to visit again! If you ever need to stay in Garibaldi, I recommend.

Wow my girl and I were realy impressed all aroundVery clean, the service was excellent and very friendly. Jeremy the concierge was super nice, he even showed us a couple room choices before we made our decision. The front desk gentleman in the morning was also very friendly and nice. Thankyou. I can't wait to tell my friends. And the free full breakfast in the morning was just the topping on the cake.
