I’m writing this review as I’m shivering in bed in this hotel room. They don’t even give you blankets just sheets on the beds. The bathroom was disgusting! It literally felt like using a public gym. hair from the person before everywhere in the tub. The person who used the shower last left a used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain. Just overall a not very clean place. The people that work here don’t seem all that bad. Oh and the tv had no sound at all the whole stay.

Staff were professional and polite, our room was nice and clean and we had no issues during our stay. We really enjoyed the large flat screen TV, fridge and microwave in our room.Food & drinks: There is a nice restaurant and bar right across from the hotel

Rooms were really nice, just a bit small, we had 2 queen beds, the refrigerator was small and on the floor, so it was very low reach to the ground. The outside is kinda bad, dirty, tight parking spaces. The location is good but not on the beach. The city is not really busy, so it was perfect for us not to have to fight crowds, and we had our 2 small dogs with us on this memorial weekend.

The room we were in had been updated, staff were friendly and professional, there was self-serve coffee in the office, and on our 2 week trip (we stayed in 5 different hotels including one upscale resort), this is the ONLY place that provided daily housekeeping - thank you for keeping this practice! Location is good - right near the steam train to Rockaway and shares a parking lot with a decent restaurant/pub.

Beds are alright, on the firmer side. Each bed had pillows, some where smaller than average, but worked. I did bring my own pillow. Each room had microwave/fridge.I tried to take a bath, the stopper didn’t work. Lots of hot water.Nice big TV. The fan for the bathroom was ridiculously loud. And the fan always turned on with the light. Would probably book again. Came on a prime weekend, booked through chase ultimate rewards to use up my hotel credit, $199. Decent internet speeds.

The bed was great in our little cabin like room. It was cute and cozy with a electric for place. Staff was friendly. Having easy access to the beach was great!!. but there was no hot water. Barely like warm at best. :( Otherwise I would have given a 5 star.

We went here to get away from the city for a night. The managers are very friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel is on the main road in Garibaldi so there are dining options nearby. The old steam trains were being shown when we were there, so we had a bit of train noise but that does not happen all the time. The mattress in our room was a bit old and saggy, but the floors had just been updated and fresh paint applied. Overall it was a very pleasant stay at the coast.

I have nothing to say good about this place. From checking in with a very unfriendly lady to a room that smelled like wetness to a pricey room with nothing that would match the price of the room.My wife and I stood because of a train ride we booked for dinnerI am not happy with the place but if you try let me know.

Pros: Fairly clean rooms, basic necessities, pet friendly and great location.Gripes: I went into the lobby to grab a cup of coffee and to inquire about weekly rates. The lady at the desk rudely told me they do not do weekly rates. "Very well," was my reply. I went on to inform her that I'm a commercial fisherman and that I will be working out of the marina in town. The desk lady seemed to have many generalizations and degrading things to say about my profession and the folks who work within it. She even went as far to say "You guys" as if to accuse me of being a part of the problems they've had with other people in my line of work. To top everything off we asked for an hour extension on our checkout time and we were denied when there were absolutely no cars in the parking lot. Decent little spot for the dough, but definitely will not be giving anymore of my business to this establishment.

Basic motel clean and comfortable. My gripe is out of the 5 motels we stayed at this place doesn’t want you to use the ice machine to top off a cooler if you have one.I did anyways, and the owner or manager confronted me about it. Pal- I paid $199 for a room. Ice to top my cooler off shouldn’t twist your arm too badly! In this country it’s called- customer service.

Stayed here a few days in early September. VERY small rooms and walls are very thin. Could clearly hear the conversations of the guest next door. Management was very friendly. Dog friendly but not allowed on furniture. Based on the high prices for very little, we won't be staying there again.

Phone conversation left little to be desired. Fairly normal and basic, no coffee in room. Tough in a place where not much opens until 7 a.m. plus who wants to get dressed to go out for a coffee run. We were there at time with a somewhat noisy group of folks around us. However all in all a very average decent place.

As soon as I walked in I knew this was a Motel 6 re-do. The photo they have of the marina is a joke as you must walk to see that view. This place was clean, and aside from the Econo lodge remodel, it's basic. The entrance door has no weather stripping so in comes the light and air. No security block on the door, just a deadbolt. Watch out for the shower, the control is backwards from the standard. Set the lever to 4pm to start. Everything in town is an easy walk. You were in the car for a long drive, now is a good time to stretch your legs. When you are not fishing or crabbing look up the train schedule. You have a great view of the railroad tracks, and the old restored cars. The depot is a short walk on the other side of the restaurant next-door. Pro tip: bring your own mugs as there are none in the room. They do have a small microwave (super clean). Please tip the housekeeping staff. They were friendly and they do a great job.

The Rusted door frame was just a hint of what was to come. The clock didn't work, neither did the shower even though there was a shower head present there was no activation lever. Forced to take a bath , required acrobatics to fit in the junior size tub . They provided hemp soap and shampoo, totally worthless. At least it was clean. Next time I'll drive the two hours home and back rather than stay overnight in this dump.

Very dog friendly.Nice room you have a mini fridge and a microwave which is great. More parking behind the hotel for trailers and trucks. The manager is nothing short of amazing, helpful, polite.Dog people there is room behind the hotel to walk or run your dog just pick up after them please.We will be back

The floors are more comfortable then the beds, the AC has a funny smell, none of the doors actually close unless you slam them HARD. Once you get the bathroom door to closed, you are trapped until someone can get you out. There were spiders and ants in the room, and we had a wonderful view of a Porta potty next to the train station... That starts at 7am with the train horn.The location is good though of your visiting Girabaldi. Food is close and their attractions are close. Good central location to the area.

This place is alright for your standard room. Relatively clean, friendly staff, and I am thankful they allow pets for only $15 a night. They also provided a dog bowl and dog towel which was much appreciated

Our stay was okay, our shower didn't have a shower curtain which made mornings a little wet... people from other rooms and the restaurant yelling in the parking lot late as night. Construction workers right outside my window dropping equipment and shouting. The room wasn't even swept that well when the custodial staff would come by to clean. I dont plan on coming back.

Beds were highly uncomfortable and ended up getting a low amount of sleep. Their sink (which is outside of the bathroom, so you have to touch the door before you can even wash your hands) had the hot water on the right, which I'm pretty sure is not up to code. Shower was okay, although more towels for the amount of people we had would have been nice.
