I was just at the Estacada Ace Hardware, where the teenage gal working the counter was rude, with no personality or no people skills. She she had a hard time counting back my change and then just left it on the counter for me to pick up. It seems that the younger people working in this establishment are generally rude or vulgar. I was in one time when a younger man was cussing and swearing about getting ready to go camping and couldn’t wait to go. He was bad mouthing the customers who were holding him up and employees, not knowing that I was standing on the next aisle over, there seems to be repeated problems at this location, so much so that I’m going start taking my business in to Sandy. There seems to be no customer service skills or no training for customer service with the younger generation working there. I am a lifelong Estacada resident. I really miss the old Estacada hardware store wishing it was here.

I’m really happy that Estacada hardware has so many great reviews but where the old small town customer service go??? I go up to the counter and say hi to the young lady and she blows me off and doesn’t even say anything. She just slaps my money on the counter and doesn’t even have my receipt. I will not shop here anymore. This store is so rude kids in the back making fun of a man with a disability, I am so appalled by that t good customer service, if I could give them a half a star😣😣 I miss the old hardware store here where people were polite and didn’t make fun of people with disabilities in their store. I really think you guys should look at this. I almost wanna file a lawsuit of what I seen today the man was embarrassed I miss Estacada😢

The staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection of fasteners and plenty of other items for all your weekend projects, saving me time and gas, since the big box stores are a 1-2 hour round trip.Good example, I needed to replace the fuel line on my trimmer. Ace had the parts and I was there and back in 20 minutes. If I had to go to the other 2 big stores or Amazon I wouldn't have been able to get my yard work done before it got too hot or this weekend in general.

It's amazing that we could drive all the way into Home Depot or Lowe's to find something and not find it and yet turn around and come back to Estacada and there is what we needed all along in Ace Hardware the people that work here are very friendly and helpful and they have good hours and a lot of product for such a small store.

Stop by for a couple quick small flashlights for camping. Machine would card read so customer service was excellent and move me to another register and cleared it and the sale was completed. Quick & easy. Thanks ACE Estacada. Oregon.

They are always helpful but don't always and aren't able to get me what I really need. I needed a heating element for my oven one time but they couldn't even order it. It was not available in there warehouse. A newer GE oven I would like to think I could purchase it through them and not have to go shop around. The people are always really professional and personal though I shop there all the time and I will be going back soon.

This place always meets or exceeds my expectations. Considering we are far away from other options, True Value does a great job of carrying a bit of everything, and enough of anything. Also, great customer service. Whenever we buy paint, this is where we go. Also, if you like gardening, you'll enjoy talking to their garden center manager.

Had 2 keys made and they both worked first try. Also looked for cement for my woodstove. My only complaint was there was to many choices. And looked at the beautiful garden plants. Reasonably priced.

I dropped $20 up at the cash register and the customer behind me was trying to claim he dropped it. The staff was extremely helpful in resolving the situation by reviewing the video surveillance. The staff was very patient and very understanding. Outstanding job

This is the best place to go don't go to Sandy's Ace because they'll charge you three more dollars on here here in estacada what was 9 99 and Sandy it was only 6.99

This place is awesome. If you live out here, no need to run into the Gresham or OC THD. Prices are reasonable. And, surprisingly... they have most everything you would need. If you don’t see it, just ask. Strong point is their CS! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they know their limits. If they don’t know, they find someone who does. They know exactly where everything is, and won’t try to up sell. In other words... they respect their customers, and other people’s’ money. I normally don’t give reviews. It took shopping here for the past 2 years to get this one out of me, but they’ve earned it as I’ve never had a bad experience.

We needed a GFCI outlet for our motorhome. They had two types that were rated the same, but one was $22 and the other was $16. These were the type that had the reset button on them. We couldn't figure out the difference and the person working there didn't know what it was either. We ended up buying the cheaper one which seemed to work just fine.The store appears to be well stocked and everyone was very friendly.

The staff at True Value are always very attentive, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about their products and the project or repair work you need to do. Granted,they don't have the selection or low prices a Home Depot or Lowe's would have but they are local, convenient and a small business, not a large corporation. The friendly staff make up for the slight increase cost but I probably save that difference in gas money.
