The people who are crying on here about this place being outdated are probably looking for an experience that's hard to find in Eastern Oregon, especially at this price. This is the cheapest motel in this town. The rooms are big, and they are clean. My only complaint is even though its the cheapest place in town, for that price I would have liked cable TV, and a better breakfast than was offered. All in all, good experience. Nobody attacked me, no mold was found, the staff was nice.

It was just OK. Prices were too high for the quality. Over $180.00 for a room with two queen beds. Beds left a lot to be desired, super soft at the sides, and if you got near the side of the bed, you could fall out of bed because the sides were so soft. Made it hard to sleep. Also, heard people up and down the stairwell most of the evening, so try to get a room away from the stairs. Free breakfast was below average, compared to most hotels in this price range. Personally, for the $, I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it.

They have done a great job in updating. I will stay again; when you find a reliable, clean well updated room, you remember.Check in was super friendly and fast. It's a small rural Oregon town. They do a great job, I'll be back.

We decided to hike out of the Eagle Caps early due to the smoke and the storm. We are beyond thankful that Wilderness Inn had a room. Spacious rooms and very clean. Super comfortable beds with a nice tub to soak. The front desk clerk was so nice and provided us toothbrush and deodorant. Can't wait for the complimentary breakfast tomorrow!

Hotel in bad repair, concrete steps broken with pieces missing, no screen in window so flies galore, tub faucet with a continuous leak, tv not user friendly, weeks of not picked up dog doo in the ‘courtyard’ , koi fish swimming in green scummy water, lobby smells bad (was told humidifier broke) and for the wonderful price of $150 night! Worst place ever!

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, I booked this room 90 days in advance, but was still assigned a room that was a daylight basement with a window that had a view of a wall 5 feet away.

The rooms are very clean. The staff is nice. I cannot fault them. The rooms smell terrible. Like the disenfectant your veterinarian uses. I asked for a non pet room but there are pet smells no one can remove without taking up carpet and sub flooring. I normally do not give reviews of this kind, but it is hard for me to breathe. Sorry Wilderness, I wish I could do a better review but I can't.

It was clean, HUGE with our two queen beds, but very musty and old smelling. Aside from that it had a mini fridge, coffee maker, nice soaps and plenty of towels. There is a sauna on site but no laundry facilities. They do accept pets for an additional $10 per pet per night. No Continental breakfast at this small mom & pop location. Very cozy though! There is another option in town. Great bar/restaurant with excellent food and customer service and atmosphere is superb! You'll literally miss Enterprise if you blink while driving through. Also another great restaurant that serves Elk burgers and buffalo if you've never had one as well as the Mexican restaurant right next store to the Wilderness Inn!

Wish I had a better review for this hotel due to size of room, cleanliness and comfortable beds......however one of the front desk employees, Matt Poole was nothing less than a bully. My husband had the worst experience ever when trying to clarify why our room reservations were wrong. We had reserved 3 rooms as we were in town working. He was in the office and threw an object and charged towards my husband for absolutely no reason that could remotely justify his actions towards a patron. He was l literally with in my husband's personal space with no regard to the covid policies in place regarding social distancing. His abusive language and intimidating demeanor was awful. Because he was bigger than my husband he kept telling him size matters. What a detrimental employee to this hotel. On the other hand Skyler Forsythe was very professional and tried to help us as best she could. Beware folks life is too short for so much hate and aggression.

The room itself was outdated, as a previous reviewer stated- but clean. It did have a decent TV, cable and a fridge/microwave.When you are in a small town, it's as to be expected. The positives were that the staff was SUPER friendly and helpful with us when we weren't expecting to stay in Enterprise. They are also dog friendly, which we needed desperately.

If there were negative stars it would be a negative 5. The room was filthy, blood and black hairs on the sheets, draperies that would not close and no deadbolt for the door.Rooms: Filthy, unsafe.Safety: Bad wiring, no dead bolt for door.Noteworthy details: Would like to update this review as I was able to speak to one of the owners, Darren Naisbet. He was very concerned about what had occurred. He quickly and fully refunded our costs and assured that there would be further training and instruction for staff. He also said that most of the rooms had been previously renovated and the room we were in is scheduled for renovation.I appreciate the kind and respectful response we received. I fully expect the issues will be addressed.

Very cozy, clean, and the staff are very pleasant as well. We came in at midnight, and the night woman saw us come in, unlocked the door before we even got out of the car. She was very upbeat, even though it was very late, and she had a 1 yr old baby on the back. Very pleasant experience!

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff is so friendly and helpful! They even loaded us up with tons of snacks! Our room was huge, clean and had a very nice view of the mountains. It is only a few miles from Wallowa lake and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. We will definitely come back again. FYI call directly to get the best price 😀

Everything was booked up and we got put on a waiting list. Mind you we didn't know this, as we are looking for a place to park and sleep for the night these lovely people called us and said they had put us on a list to call back if there was any cancellations not only in there hotel but the 2 cites nearby of any place we could go. Amazing service and large rooms the only thing that don't get 5 stars is a would have liked to seen a continental breakfast. Amazing and caring we will be back for sure.

They'd get a fourth star if the bed hadn't been so darned uncomfortable. Decor is clearly dated, but the people at the desk are helpful, the rooms are clean--the sheets and towels have that good clean smell and feel--shower was decent, and it ultimately suited my needs. For some reason I also overlooked the fact that this is a motel rather than a hotel. I was the only guest the night I stayed so being on the first floor of a motel as a woman traveling alone made me a little uncomfortable, but that was my own oversight.

Room reeked of smoke. We kept the window open the entire weekend but it didn't do much. Furnishings were dated. Housekeeping knocked multiple times at 830 every morning (despite the do not disturb sign), waking both of us up. However, front desk people were friendly, location was excellent relative to the eagle caps and they are dog friendly as well.

Okay motel, not the cleanest. I see a lot of reviews saying "clean" but having stayed here multiple nights in multiple rooms, I can say it's not anywhere near as clean as other hotels/motels.Internet was consistently inconsistent. The sink faucet would only work on the cold water side, but turns out it only produced scolding hot water. Same with the shower. Only hotel I've even been to that had a problem dishing out cold water.

I am a Law Enforcement Officer who travels extensively for training, I stay in a lot of Hotels/Motels. This has been one of the best I’ve visited, twice now, both times excellent service, clean rooms, and exceptional management!!The couple managing are new to the area from eastern US and are courteous, committed, and straightforward individuals. Hats off to you two!! General manager and owner/owners do all you can do to keep these two, your business will profit from it!!Thanks!!

After being told they had breakfast we found a note on the hotel door. They were gone mon/tues. and someone would be in at 10. No breakfast, tub drained slow, dryer not working, warm water coming out of cold water side.
