We had a great time staying at Barking Mad Farm B&B in late June and exploring the area. Our room was excellent, with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a comfortable bed. Views from our room, including the mountains were really good. The breakfasts prepared by Emily were outstanding and were different every day of our stay. A highlight was a guided tour by Emily of the various animals on the farm, especially the piglets! Emily and Rob are great hosts with a great knowledge of the area and gave excellent recommendations on hikes and places to visit. We particularly enjoyed the tramway trip to the top of Mount Howard and the East Moraine hike with outstanding views of Wallowa Lake. We strongly recommend Barking Mad Farm as a great place to stay and explore the area. 5 stars. Thank you!

This beautiful farm is a bit tucked away but well worth the drive. The fresh morning breakfast is all homemade with most of the offerings grown at their own farm. I stayed in the apartment above the garage with extraordinary views of the land from both the front and back views. Sunrise and sunset were amazing. The bed was really comfortable and easy to enjoy a full sleep. I wish I could have stayed longer.

It was perfect! The owners are friendly, very knowledgeable about the area and live chatting with their guests. The rooms are clean and very well decorated. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is done perfectly. The entire property is gorgeous, with the mountains in the background. They are dog friendly and supply 2 food bowls for the dog guests. Also a jar of dog treats. They have a very large grassed, fenced area just for the dogs to run and.okay off leash. The food was very well done and a nice variety. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. I will definitely go back. 5 STARS!!!

This was our first time to Eastern Oregon. We went because we wanted to do the driving barn tour. We went the last part of March, before the crowds! Emily and Rob were wonderful hosts, and the farmhouse was fabulous! She was not serving breakfast yet, as we were a bit early for the season, but the room was very comfortable and there was a fire in the wood stove each afternoon when we returned, which was the best because it was cold and windy out! They have a nice big barn which houses about 10 pigs and 3 goats, along with their two dogs! They are right at the base of the mountains, so the view was spectacular! I highly recommend staying at Barking Mad Farm.

Just returned from my stay at Barking Mad Farm. I had never been to this part of Oregon and was not sure what to expect. The farm is beautiful and the hosts were fabulous. Every morning we were greeted with a delicious farm to table breakfast. The views were spectacular with the Wallowa mountains right in front of you and Idaho’s seven devils mountains in the distance. The room we stayed in was nice and we loved the farm. We got to interact with farm animals and see the sights. Emily is a super host. We will be back thank you Barking Mad Farm.

My partner and I spent a lovely night in the Treetops Suite before heading out on a backpacking trip, and another night in the Seven Devils Suite when we returned. Both rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and comfortable. Emily and Rob were friendly and welcoming, and gave great recommendations for our day in the nearby town of Joseph. Emily's breakfasts were hands-down the best B&B breakfasts we've ever had! The setting itself was stunningly beautiful, and we couldn't have asked for a better romantic getaway. Our only wish it that we could visit Barking Mad Farm more often!

Emily, the owner, was super nice. We got the room on the second floor with the snowcapped mountain view, which was amazing. The milky way shows up around 3 AM if you are lucky. The breakfast was really good and we also had a quick farm tour, which was really fun! Couldn’t have found a better place to stay in this town! Highly recommended! Don’t forget to say hi to Roo and Zook ;)

Where to begin!?!The B&B sits a few miles outside of town (possibly it's only drawback) in a wide open space with good views, firepit, garden space and the large field out front for your dog to run around in.The farmhouse itself is nice and quaint. The 7-devils suite is newer, and sits above the separate garage. It has lots of space but stairs to climb for access. We've also stayed at the Buffalo Suite in the main house and it's a more traditional smaller area (still very nice). The food is excellent. Diana and Hunter both go out of their way and the food is plentiful and of the highest quality - really sets you up for a big day ahead. They're also excellent hosts and have many great stories as well as tips for your trip, maps etc.A great place, highly recommended.

My husband and I try to support local businesses when possible. You can't get any more local than a quaint little bed and breakfast in the country.. One of the owners of the establishment is a very kind young woman with a good eye for detail. There was a motel in town that we could have stayed at for around the same price. But it wouldn't have been memorable, and I'm sure they wouldn't have served us a gourmet breakfast with a view of the mountains.Thank you again for a lovely evening.

Don't miss the opportunity to stay at this place. Clean, comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast was amazing with farm to table fare. 5 minutes outside of downtown Enterprise, and 15 minutes from Joseph. Well worth the drive.

Amazing view, very peaceful. Great breakfast. I texted our host about needing spoons for ice cream late at night. A minute later they met us in the kitchen. I highly recommend a visit.
