We have taken our furry kids to Klassic Tales twice. I am incredibly picky since two of our other dogs had a bad experiences with sitting that left them with Addison's and a fear of large dogs. The owners and staff have been nothing short of amazing. On their most recent stay, there was an ice storm. We were on a trip and I was worried about the kennel losing power and the dogs being in freezing weather. I tried calling at 11:00 pm and no one answered, which didn't surprise me since it was so late, so I sent an e-mail message, and I believe it was Reed (hope I got his name right) who responded and assured me that all was well and they had power. That message allowed me to sleep that night! When they did lose power, Liz notified me with her personal cell phone since they couldn't call on the land lines. Maggie stayed late in order for us to pick up our dogs when we finally got back to Eugene. They are always excellent with communications. Before I decided to board the dogs here, I quizzed Jim quite a bit and he answered everything perfectly. They are proactive in everything they do, and Jim gave me a lot of information on the dog respiratory illness when I was concerned about that, and he told me how they put in air cleaners and asked dog parents to keep their dogs away from other dogs 14 days prior to boarding with them. I feel good that they are doing everything possible to keep Enzo and Gracie happy and safe.

Jim and his team are top notch!!! Our babies will not stay anywhere but here. I'm so thankful that we chose Klassic Tails for our girls vacation. They sent a video while we were away and a card when we got home and pictures of bathtime. You can assure they will keep your babies safe, as well as, your mind at ease. Thank you KTI for being the best around!!!

Being retired and having two wonderful Australian Labradoodles, my wife and I rarely leave them. Sadly at our age we still have aging parent, new Grandchildren and friends we must visit! We are so attached that we searched for the BEST facility for our dogs. We found and have used Klassic Tails Inn near Elmira, Oregon. Our fur babies enjoy their time there, get 2 hour walks daily and have outdoor spaces that allows them to play with each other just like home. The Staff is friendly, efficient and security minded. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!!!!

Our dog, Ellie, has been going to Klassic Tails Inn for over 8 years now, since she was a puppy. We love the special care that she gets and she always jumps in the car when I say "we're going to see Jim". The baths she gets there are amazing! I would recommend Klassic Tails Inn to any pet owner who wants to feel secure that their dog, or cat, is being treated like royalty.

Klassic Tails Inn kept our two pups for a week and there is honestly no where else we'd let them stay. We will most definitely be back. They sent us a video of them playing, we were able to call and check on them. It isn't a normal kennel where they have to stay behind a cage the entire time they are well carried for and have plenty of play time!! It is very decently priced with great service!! 10 stars!! Thanks again for taking care of our babies!!

Our 5 month old puppy stayed at Klassic Tails for 8 days. We were a little nervous about leaving a puppy that long but a family emergency caused us to have to leave town. I was so impressed with the facility. Very clean. The people there were so good to him. We paid for extra play time but because he was still a puppy they recognized the need for a little bit of extra time to get out that puppy energy. We had them do a bath and nail trim the day we picked him up. He seemed to be very happy there and right at home. We will absolutely be using them again.

Great place for cats! The kitties and other small critters are housed in a separate building from where the barking dogs are kenneled. Our kitties quarters had several perches for them and best of all they had a window to look out with a hummingbird feeder. They replied quickly to my emails during our time away with updates about our 3 kitties. Also all 3 kitties were allowed to be in the same suite together which was great!The boarding facility is really very nice and its on the most beautiful, peaceful grounds and the owners live right next to where your fur babies are kenneled. That was comforting knowing someone was close by during non business hours.Thank you for giving my kitties such good care.

Update: still 5 stars!!! Heck, even more stars! I wanted to add how accommodating they are. They adjusted our stay for us so we could stay a few more days on our trip. We have used them probably 5-6 times now and have had nothing but good experiences. I shout them on the rooftops to everyone! My family has started to board their dogs here too now. I even had a friend I TRUST say, “why do you board your dog there if I’ll do it for free?”. I said - “couldn’t tell ya, haha, it’s just our favorite place and we trust them and I can’t give you any other answer”. Thanks for always taking such good care of Shadow! It’s like vaca for him too!I just want to say thank you for taking such good care of Shadow for the 11 days we are on vacation! It was hard leaving him for the first time ever but your reassurance during our tour and the staffs and owners character, made it a lot easier. We will be using you in the future for sure and letting our friends and family know about you guys. He smells great too after his bath! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! You all are so amazing!Also for anyone inquiring - this place is CLEAN, and well managed/organized. It’s in a wooded area with great dog runs. Walks are available as well by the beautiful country side. The kennels have heat and AC. You can tell the owners take pride in their establishment.Jim - the owner, felt like family. His wife Michelle was the first person I spoke to over the phone and we shared some laughs and I felt comfortable from the second she answered the phone. Kristen was amazing and shared some things about our pup that made me feel less anxious so that was very helpful on leaving him for so long. Amazing staff!

The best kennel around, I can tell when I pick my dog up from a kennel if she is not happy. Ive never experienced this here. They truly love our family when we can’t be there. I wish I could give this kennel 6 stars.

We're BAAAAAACK! Yea! Our last time staying with Jim and Michelle was in 2019 and we haven't traveled anywhere since due to COVID. But we decided to make our first post COVID trip to Disney World in FL and our furry family members could not make the trip. We called the travel agent to check on possible dates, but before we booked anything, we called Klassic Tails Inn to make sure Gabby and Sophie would have spots for their own little holiday. Jim said, "Come on home, girls" so our human trip planning could commence.We have stayed at Klassic Tails for over 30 years. The Klassic Tails folks have cared our furry family members through 4 generations. They have handled our puppies, took them for walks, threw balls, and loved them through adulthood, kept special care when they were ill, and coddled them in their geriatric years. If they can't stay at Klassic Tails, we revise our travel plans. I would leave them with no one else.Jim and Michelle are second generation owners. The environment can not be beat. It is cooler in the summer, beds are warmer in the winter, 4th of July is quieter, and Christmas is merrier! I hesitate to recommend Klassic Tails publicly because you already have to book early - but 30 years ago when we first moved to Eugene, Klassic Tails was recommended to us and my furry family members have been loyally loved and cared for, sooo in the spirit of passing it forward . . . I can without exception give my highest recommendation to Jim and Michelle at Klassic Tails!

Just picked up our three dogs from Klassic Tails and we were very thrilled at the experience! Dropping everyone off was quick and easy, and the staff was very friendly. The facility appears very secure and I was not worried at all. We got a great review of the stay when we picked them up, and the dogs appeared to be very happy! We will definitely be back to Klassic Tails!

Jim and Michelle own and operate the best kennel we've ever taken our dogs to. Our golden retriever is actually excited when we pull into their driveway. She's always greeted with smiles and hugs. She enjoys her morning and afternoon walks, and lots of playtime in the large fenced park-like playground. We can't say enough good things about Klassic Tails Inn!

I have boarded my dogs here many times and it has always been a great experience. I first tried them because of a recommendation from my Veterinarian and I am very glad I did. I have smaller dogs and I have them housed in the indoor/outdoor units because they spend their days at home in a protected outdoor kennel and their nights on my bed so those accommodations are most like they are used to. I have and will continue to recommend Klassic Tails to others looking for a great place to board their pets!

My family and our dogs have relied on Jim and Michelle at Klassic Tails for years. Of course, we'd prefer to take our dogs with us when we leave town, but when that isn't an option, Klassic Tails is the only kennel we use, and we recommend it to everyone. The facility is great, but it's the people that really make the difference!We recently took advantage of the airport shuttle service. It is good value; Jim was right on time; it eliminated the need to leave a car at the airport; and it was such a delight to be reunited with our dogs the moment we landed!

I boarded my dog, Lassie, for about 5 days earlier this fall. Couldn't be happier. The kennel was very clean, odor-free, and quiet. The other dogs seems restful and content. When Lassie developed a minor problem, someone called to discuss the issue, which was handled well. Everyone that I interacted with seemed friendly, knowledgeable, and caring.

I am taking care of my daughters two little monsters Brock and Roxie for a few months while she and her husband are relocating to HI. During this time I went away for a 3 day weekend where I could not take the dogs and I found Klassic Tails Inn in Elmira.They were really responsive to the needs of my situation and were really good with the two dogs. Their information on the website prepared me for what I would need to bring or not bring.Upon picking up the dogs she discussed how they have two kennel areas for the dogs and they are all climate controlled for their comfort.Brock and Roxie were returned to me and they were not dirty or acting weird. (Well no weirder than normal..lol).I may be using the services again when I need to board my cat or even if I have these little monsters longer... (lol and by monsters I mean my grand pups).I would highly recommend these boarders.

Only place we will leave our pets. They are professional and really care about your pets. While we were on vacation our dog was in their care and had an issue (no fault of Klassic Tails, she just couldn't go potty) that required immediate attention from a vet. They had taken the time to get to know Amzy so they knew instantly something was wrong and communicated with me and handled the situation before it became a much bigger issue for Amzy. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to everyone at Klassic Tails. They also do an amazing job grooming so they really are the total package. Thank you so much Klassic Tails!!

Klassic Tails is the BEST! The owners, Jim and Michelle, are warm and caring people. We always know that our 2 Shelties are getting wonderful care when we board them. Their facility is very, very clean, absolutely no smell--(two important factors we were concerned with when we were looking for a kennel 9 years ago).In addition, they do a fantastic job at bathing and grooming. Jim is excellent at grooming long hair dogs, especially Shelties.It may seem that they are long drive from Eugene, (Veneta area) but, trust me, Klassic Tails is worth it! If you feel that your dog or cat is part of your family, you won't want to leave them any place else.
