Great little convenience store, with a fresh little fried foods "kitchen" alcohol section, and porta potties outside along with all the other normal convenience store options. Tesla chargers roght across the way. Friendly service while i visited.

DON NOT GO THERE. I went there to get a luchable and the price said it was $4.49. I had $4.50. When I went to the counter the lady said it was $4.99. She Ober priced me then when I was trying to get my money back and leave she tried keeping my money. DONT GO THERE.

Always stop here and love the uniqueness of this little mercantile....from clothing to food and everything in between.....from snacks to hot ready to go meals...and everyone is so friendly ..what's not to like

This used to be the stop we would always make any time we came through town for our mid trip bathroom breaks and snacks. Staff friendliness has gone downhill, and patrons are no longer permitted to use the bathrooms.

Would be nice if you answered your phones. I was a customer yesterday been calling to notify you that you never gave me back my card and I am not driving an hour and a half to go get it. I also stayed in your store for 10 minutes after the purchase and the lady never noticed

Under new ownership as of the 4th of Jan 2022. This use to be our favorite place to stop on our trips from Bend to the valley. The old owners took great care of each customer like family. The price of everything is crazy, the customer service is trash, the employees look like they are being held hostage by the new owners. On top of all that you are not allowed to use the restrooms there anymore….? So sad to see a piece of our culture in regards to how folks in the small towns of Oregon treat each other go away. We will miss you old Detroit.

I like the country store for having groceries, had Subway business inside and a gas station. Had a nice park in the back to relax after a long trip to have a tailgate lunch.

Hot case food made us sick 👍either fix the temp, or don't leave it sitting out so long. Should have known better, tbh. The quality of hot case food was sketchy in thr 1st place. Multiple things were out of order too. Restrooms closed

A favorite stop while traveling for a quick bite or just to drop in and browse. Just looking for a cute gift, some campfire wood or snack? This is just the store to visit. Clean restrooms, fresh chicken, easy in and out access from the main highway. This store can get quite busy at times especially during the hunting or camping season, so be prepared for a wait at times. Always a fun place to get out and browse or walk the nearby streets and check out some great food places after stopping by.

Great place. Good selection of snacks, drinks, and usual convenience store fare, plus an ATM and freshly made donuts. We were fully relieved to have access to this place after skiing Hoodoo, and we'd be happy to go back if the need arises.

I'm a frequent traveler through this little town. This used to be a place I stopped to use the restroom, buy water bottles, snacks, my lunch and lottery tickets. Once they closed the restrooms, I haven't been back. Not planning on ever stopping there again unless they reopen the restrooms.

Good place for a pit stop while driving the pass. Nice assortment of snack options. Clean bathrooms. Some of the best chicken strips ever. They do charge a fee for debit or credit card usage under a certain amount.

We love getting chicken strips and jojos after setting camp. Thats because they had Chesters. Now they have Coopers. They are not as good. We'll never buy chicken strips again. We are bummed. Btw, we've had this tradition for years.

I bought some burritos and they gladly marked the different bags they put them in as to not get them mixed up. Very clean restrooms and pleasant helpful clerks ! Love the Chesters chicken they have .... I usually get a snack box special and it comes with a drink !

I live in the Bend and Redmond area. When going over to the valley area or Salem this makes a great place to stop for a quick break and rest stop. The store is always clean when using the rest rooms they also are always clean and comfortable with the necessary items. The delicatessen has a great choice of hot item's you will find a great choice of day to day grocery itemsSome fishing supplies also for campers.Approximately a hour drive to Salem and the valley via state highway 22 .

If you love chicken strips, then stop in here! Seriously some of the best chicken I have ever had! They have a huge variety of things to shop for. Knick knacks, snacks, produce, beverages, a decent area with liquor, and of course the deli! The staff at the store is friendly and does well getting people checked out and letting them get back to the beauty and fun of Detroit Lake!

Had what I needed and the counter staff was friendly. Their breakfast is good and not too pricy for the location. They have just about everything covered if you need something. From toothbrushes to firewood! I will make this my daily stop while here.

Great little rest stop! Good for a bathroom break, a snack and a coffee. They've got a variety of stuff for camping too if you need something last minute that you forgot at home.

We travel to eastern Oregon quite often and one of our favorite stops is Mountain High Grocery. It’s a perfect place to stop, stretch your legs, empty the on board tank and grab some jojo’s from the deli! Delicious

More than you would expect from a convenience store, they also catered a very good breakfast for our large group of moti-campers at a surprisingly good price. Tip them well, they deserve it!

As far as I could tell there was nothing to get high on in this store except the view. Good thing. Seems like every corner in Oregon now promotes becoming more debilitated and asleep through recently legalized methods.

Buyer beware if you purchase any of their camping items. They will not give you your money back if defective. Also owner says there is a sign posted saying so. She's a liar, there is no sign anywhere. Only buy consumables here.

Purchased a product that was defective and when I tried to return it, the two very rude cashiers said they didn't know the return policy and suggested I come back when the manager was in the next day. I do not live in Detroit, so i had to call instead. Was told by the manager that all sales are final. There is no sign stating this, I was not told this when I made my purchase, and its not on the receipt. She wouldn't budge and practically hung up on me. I am now out my money and stuck with a product I cannot use.

Love this little store! Has all the basics for groceries, but some very neat decor items and a great little section of inexpensive toys for the kids! The people are great, too... always remember me and ask about the family!

Seriously, this has been a stop for a long time to get chicken and jo-jos. Today of all days they have a lazy crew working, and didn’t want to help anyone. This is the last time I go here. Also, they closed their kitchen two hours early, and the lady was rude as hell for me asking.
