Do NOT get the brisket!!! You have been warned. That had to be the toughest brisket I have ever had - when you have to ask for a steak knife,……there is something clearly wrong!!! To Loam chef: you need to learn how to cook brisket - it contains a fat section within the cut that is to add to the moisture of the brisket. Most brisket is so tender, melt in your mouth, and juicy meat. Everything else, and everyone else about Loam was amazing!!! Great job Tristan and the hostess - very attentive and kind. We had French Toast, bacon, eggs, pancakes, Cowboy plate, Farmhouse breakfast, mimosa, mushroom cola, macadamia cream soda, and espresso martini. Drinks are good. Such a great place to mess up the brisket tho. I would go back - but not for brisket!!!

Wonderful owners that take farm fresh ingredients and make the most delicious foods. Different tastes that work really well together. The atmosphere is local shiek and they are very welcoming and friendly. It's a must try. We enjoyed everything. The pistachio cream soda is really creamy and full of big pistachio flavor, excellent!!!!

We went for breakfast to celebrate our anniversary after reading reviews. Loam is cozy, charming, and delicious! We actually had the owner serving us! We found out she went to high school with our kids! So happy for her business venture! She has done a great job. This place is hidden away in Dayton, but it will soon be on everyone's "must try" list!

Okay Wow!😲If you're in the mood for a breakfast that'll blow your mind, 🤯look no further than Loam! This place is hands down the best breakfast spot we've ever been to. Looking forward to dinner here soon! Even our kids, who were in a questionable mood at the at the time, loved it! The food is fresh from the farm and packed with flavor. The bacon was out of this world - it was practically a bacon-steak! the potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ketchup has to be homemade - it was so flavorful! The French toast was perfect! Two huge slices of challah with an awesome tasting lemony citrus curd and fresh berries!Although we originally ordered an item that wasn't available, the service was amazing and we were still blown away by the dishes we did receive. The salmon toast Benedict was our favorite - the wholegrain mustard added a pop of flavor and the presentation was on point. We loved the old school China plates too - they added a quirky touch to the experience. We had an unforgettable time and would highly recommend Loam for breakfast. Trust us, you won't regret it.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu!

We loved every bit of this place. The dishes, service, and atmosphere were top notch and we will definitely make a point to stop back in the future, even coming from a distance. If you have a chance to get their fresh pasta, definitely do so, the Carbonara we had was truly memorable (not pictured here). Other dishes were seasonable stews, with a lovely depth and variety of flavors across the spread. Excellent place to stop in on your way back to Portland after a wine tasting appointment.

My husband and I have had Loam on our “must try” list for too long and after tonight’s elevated dining experience, we regret not making our way sooner. We were greeted warmly and offered seating options. The ambiance is heightened by the glow of real votives, warm wood and a lovely sage accent wall. A large, artistic chalkboard mural takes center stage as a tribute to the local farms and fauna created by Anami our bartender-server. She also coined the “After Dark” moniker, defining the opportunity for dinner, only on Friday and Saturday nights. Brunch is the foundation during the week and on weekends. It is clear Loam is committed to lifting up small local farms, winemakers, breweries and distilleries and hiring from the community. We are too. We were elated to see Greywing Cellars Pinot Noir a wine and it’s talented winemaker, Brandy Grey a budding, small producer who supports Native American nonprofits through her production. As far as the dinner options there is something to be said about focus, as the options are cultivated with seasonal and local ingredients at the core. We shared a wonderful, perfectly dressed winter greens salad, with roasted squash, bits of goat cheese and a smattering of gemlike pomegranate seeds and a perfect pastry enveloped duck confit empanada. Entrees - Skuna Bay, plank roasted sustainable salmon, complements of NW Seafood and perfectly MR Eola Crest Cattle Coulotte surrounded by balanced and flavorful vegetable and rice accompaniments.Flawless and hot from pan to plate palette and the service and pacing perfect. Dessert also rose to the occasion, a Challah cinnamon custard style bread pudding with blood orange curd. So wonderful was the experience that we requested a brunch reservation for four and are certain to tell others and return again and again.

This place is amazing. I was out on my way to the antique mall in Lafayette and decided to stop for breakfast and I found this place recommended online and I’m so glad we tried it. The service was so friendly and accommodating. They make an amazing breve. They have some delicious bougie non alcoholic choices. I was driving an hour to and from Portland and so I opted not to drink. But their drink menu was so delicious looking. I got the cowboy breakfast and every bit of it was delicious. I would absolutely go back. Well worth the hour drive each way.

What a wonderful experience! The food was amazing and each item we ate was clearly crafted with passion for quality, local ingredients. Our server Kim (who we later found out is the owner!) was a delight and very attentive to all the tables. The service staff adds that extra bit of "specialness" that takes restaurant from great to exceptional. Loam has a new life long patron.

As a local I’ve got to say you cannot go wrong here. One of our “go to” spots and no vacation in Wine Country is complete without a meal here.Pro tip: order the pastry special to eat while you wait for breakfast / brunch you will not be disappointed.
