☆I always thought of Dollar General as a discount store, yet after my recent visits, it's clear that on most food items, there are little price differences. However, you can still find enough good deals on a variety of products that make the visit worthwhile.One thing that makes the Creswell Dollar General different is a surprisingly good produce section. Though it is small in size, it is locally grown with a variety of fruit & vegetables that would surprise the average shopper.valuable addition to a town lacking the convenience of a Super Market & it is the only Dollar General Store that I have found produce stocked on a regular basis.I can recommend the Creswell Oregon Dollar General, its staff is very friendly, discount prices are still available.

An older woman wearing glasses was extremely disrespectful to my husband today. She called his haircut on his ID "an alfalfa sprout" and said word-for-word, "I'm making fun of you." She made him feel belittled and was making accusations that he had a fake identification and proceeded to keep him held up in line. This is really not the type of service I'd expect from any store clerk, as it wasn't a lack of customer service, but just plain bullying behavior to someone who was supporting business and therefore contributing to her job. It'll be easy for us to go to a different store to avoid another interaction like this one. I am mostly reviewing, hoping that a manager will see and can continue training their employees for better future care.

If I could give no stars I would the store itself is fine but the old lady who works in there sucks she’s beyond rude she acts like she hates everybody who crosses her path just because having customers means she has to do her job.

called when on way to ask about helium, how much they had? if they could blow up 2 balloons?... drove down there from eugene since other locations were out of helium and got there and both staff members told me they were not trained?? to blow up balloons... then I said Ok I called earlier wouldn't that be something you would tell me she said " I don't know it does not matter anyways we cannot blow up your balloons" Then I went to the self checkout line and it would not work I asked if she could help me with the machine she said "nope sorry I am going to break." horrible customer service at this location.

I really enjoy the manager of this store and a few of the other employees, but the majority of the employees really need to learn how to bag items so we don't end up with more bags than needed. It's really upsetting when I can rebag my stuff and give them back an extra bag or two that was unnecessary.

Good bargain store with a decent variety of pretty much anything you can think of. Store was a bit messy, but the staff were very friendly. Great store when you need something last minute.

i went to dollar general tonight and the person who checked us out was Kenny. i bought an avocado and a couple other things, and he proceeded to put everything in the bag but the avocado, so now i have no avocado for dinner. this was a very outrageous service and i am furious. those things aren’t cheap these days!

I have found the Dollar Generals near me and surrounding areas to be much the same. Who doesn't love a bargain. Packed full with hardly enough room for two baskets. Dollar isles and much much more. What I didnt like is you have to watch the register to make sure you were getting correct price. Not one store I visited in my area had correct pricing. One store had no signage at all saying what was on sale. Sale product was thin or just empty. Cashiers were friendly and helpful.

went here for the first time. Dissatisfied I couldn't find a General for $1. it's a grocery store with no fresh produce. Plenty of corn syrup products here tho.there are great gems occasionally in the toy isle. found some Avengers LEGO sets for $10. and with no OR sales tax, a better deal than Amazon. worth a stop for toy hunters.

I love me my dollar general but you need to pay attention to your receipt and the sizes of products. On some products you'll get a better deal buying full size at Walmart. Also, they have literally cheated us just about every visit. Usually, it's only a small amount, but if they're doing that to everyone, that's a small fortune everyday. It's not just dollar general either, it's almost every store we go to. Do yourself a favor and check your receipt before leaving the parking lot of any store.

If you live in Creswell Oregon this is an awesome bargain place to shop. If you live in Springfield/ Eugene it's worth the drive. Save some money on unique items that the dollar store does not have. I purchased soda and an upgrade of the solar lights that the dollar store has and they're the same price. Little bit nicer from the Dollar general! It's a good place to quickly get in and out of it's right off the freeway and has free parking and handicap access.

Great prices on stuff you actually want to buy. Candles, shampoos and conditioners, hair styling products even OGX, other name brands. The DG selection is impressive & most works fine. I love the make up and laundry soap selections as well. Pretty much everything including food items and clothing too. So happy they opened. The app lets you save even more.

Always a mess in there. I go in weekly for milk and they ALWAYS have boxes on the floor. Ive never once seen the aisles clean of debris. My neighbor who is blind can't shop there at all cuz she can't make it thru there safely . hire some ppl to clean it up ! Zero stars from me

Love dollar general. But employees really need to know math. If it's an extra 50% off... so because only one person in the store can do it everyone in line had to wait. Its kinda embarrassing... so I did the math and need to go back for my refund.

I had a very positive experience at Dollar General in Creswell. The staff was friendly and helpful and was also very professional, as far as the Covid 19 mask wearing and offering hand sanitizer at the entrance. I will definitely be shopping there again soon.

prices really aren't anything to get excited about. With no other options in a small town it may seem like your getting a great deal but most item are at or above normal. Staff is nice and friendly.

Store was clean and organized. Employees were Friendly helpful and had a very good sense of humor. Selection was impressive, garden hoses to gummy bears.

This is probably the best store in creswell, best price snacks, they have Cadbury eggs! Also they have a little bit of everything at a really cheap price! All the staff are very helpful as well.

The store itself is okay they have a lot of goods but I drove a 17 mile round trip from Cottage Grove on the suggestion that they had Vernors ginger ale which they did not and that annoys me.

It's similar to Dollar Tree but has merchandise that Dollar Tree doesn't. Good prices with a small town feel. In other words, friendly employees & customers.

Very nice selection of food, health products, first aid, some clothing, entertaining books, kitchen, laundry and much more. Not everything is a dollar but it's definitely less expensive than other larger stores.

It's better than the dollar store, you can buy clothes and shoes also here. Some stuff is a bit pricey. Otherwise not a bad store.

Specials are worth going for. Most things can be gotten at BiMart nearby or go 8 miles to Wal-Mart for less This is not really a discount place like Dollar Tree.

How do they cram so much stuff into such a small store? Has such a great variety of things. Great service and friendly staff.
