I'm glad that Dollar General is in our small town. They carry a little bit of everything. Prices are very good and resonable. Take advantage of the Sat $5 off $25 purchase. The isles are empty and clean. Not so much in the past. New employees and they seemed to be trained very well. Lines move fast. A totally different store then a yr ago. Thanks Mr General for being here and many years to follow.

The manager of this store is extremely unprofessional. Interviewed a young woman, offered her a job, the poor girl did all the paperwork, W-4, passed background check, got official company email welcoming her aboard... then heard nothing from the manager and, being eager sent an early morning message asking for an update... manager responded annoyed at getting an early morning message, young woman apologized. 2 weeks went by, young woman messaged asking for an update and the manager told her there were no positions available and lied about the background not coming back soon enough. Said "we never finalized anything, it was just an interview",which was obviously a lie because she did the paperwork and got the offical "welcome aboard" email. All of this is easily documented. Shady stuff going on in Shady Cove.

There is a young lady that works at the Dollar General store in Shady Cove. Her name is Katherine. She is the nicest, most helpful person I have come across. When she is there, when I walk in, I know my needs will be met and with a smile. Thank You Katherine for making my shopping experience that much better. I wish I could say the same about the manager that mostly sits in the back office..

07-09-22 This store is so Awful, I Can't believe how horrible the service is at this store. Expect to spend at least 15 minutes in line for one item and watch many customers just put their items down walk out. One employee is so slow it's painful, Two of the better employees seem to be just over working at this store. The other Lady finds anything else to do but help customers check out. I would Not even complain if this didn't happen every time we go in there.Management Please check out this location in Shady Cove Oregon.

I loved the mobile phone app to calculate my spending, over spending is easy to do with the great prices Dollar General provides, I get sale info when scanning items, plus I get coupons I don't have to cut out and they are easy to use by just putting in my phone number at the register. One down fall is if your buying multiples of the same item u have to scan each item if u want to compare your total to the registers total, but the app is well worth it. The manager Stormy was awesome and coworkers who just as awesome and very very helpful I wish I would have got all their names. So koodos to the crew working Saturday afternoon. The store was fairly clean with shelves being a little disarrayed. Thanks from a happy customer

Have decent selection of miscellaneous items. Prices comparable to Walmart. I bought some nice curtains. Good price. Store has too strong of fragrance odor, i.e.candles and oil plug-ins etc.Makes me sick and doesn't encourage lingering much.

Good selection and good prices. But employees are always stocking shelves during business hours. Many times I can't even push one of their small carts through every isle due to a ton of boxes waiting to be unloaded. Wish they kept the isles clear for easy shopping.

Love this place in Shady Cove. Great deals. Friendly employees who are always helpful. They have a little bit of everything. I was able to stock up on cleaning and household supplies while on this side of the Rogue Valley. Check them out!

The whole woman that checked my stuff out was incredibly nice, I think her name was Luckii. She kept the conversation going smoothly until another woman that seemed to have also worked there came over and started to be very rude to her concerning something about how she messed the register up and that she broke it. Not very nice. Also it was rude that in the middle of a conversation between a worker and a customer she made her leave.

Dollar General is the closest thing for miles that resembles a dollar store. The prices are very low. You can get name brand items fairly cheap! A few groceries, dog and cat food, clothes and dish soap, beer, milk and more. Sometimes you can't get everything but it's really worthwhile to shop here for the savings😊

Dollar store it's not. But you can still get good deals on everyday items including groceries paper goods clothing candies household items and many more. One time everything that had a red triangle was $0.25. I must have picked up 15-20 garments for $0.25 each. What a steal. I bought everything they had left and gave a lot of it away. Plus open until 10:00pm.

Cleaner than your typical Dollar Generals. Very helpful staff product is always well within the expiration date. I find it very helpful to buy a lot of my cleaning products there because they're less expensive then in your typical grocery store. Spices are generally less expensive as well for cooking.

I love this store! Many items herein are lower than walmart pricing! And these stores are conveniently placed in smaller cities -- giving locals an alternative for groceries, snacks, etc. Dollar General = convenience of a mini-mart without the gouging price effect!

They have a wide selection of items from inside the house to outside the house. Many items at regular price are still cheaper than Walmart prices. The employees take their job seriously but not so seriously that they can't don't smile

I love love love the dollar store, especially the Dollar Deals like candles, soap, baby wipes and more for only a $1! I get my razors here too for dirt cheap ($10/pkg)

A less expensive alternative to the local market as far as food is concerned. Food selection is larger than a convenience store but smaller than a traditional market. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The place keeps closing or can't keep any thing on the shelf's, was nice for a little bit then went even worse now. Place goes threw a lot of people.

Sept. 23 went in and 3 employees and 1 customer were wearing face masks incorrectly, exposing their noses. One customer had no face covering at all. I used to shop there a lot but won't be back because I feel unsafe.

If you need something from medford and don't feel up to traveling that far, stop in at the Dollar General! Their selection of items is greatly diverse, and chances are that you'll find what you need or something comparable.

If you don't have the app you dont get the discounts on many items. The WiFi sucks in the store so the app never works properly. So in turn you dont get the discounts.
