Wow, do not pass this place up. We showed up at 11AM on a Sunday, and despite being full with a wait list, we found ourselves seated in less than 10 minutes. We ordered a slamwich (breakfast sandwich with French Toast), Spanish Omelette, chicken and waffles, pancakes, and a cinnamon roll to share. Not a bad dish on the table. All of our order was great. The cinnamon roll was so buttery, warm, and fresh. Also, make sure you try Gramma’s jam on your toast.Great food and great service. I can understand why there is a crown of people waiting to get in.Will definitely be back.

Had breakfast here this morning and it was good. It was a Sunday and there was probably a 5 minute wait at the most. Of course this was on the day of return from winter break so probably not as busy as it usually is. We ended up getting an omelette, a skillet pancakes and eggs benedict. The portions are very large and and one dish could be shared by two we also got the gluten-free cinnamon bun or roll and it was very sweet but it also very good. The coffee it comes in a very large ceramic cup. . All in all, it was a very good breakfast/ brunch.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten-free options

They do have a gluten free menu upon request. The waitress was able to tell us the fried potatoes are not gluten free. It is decent size servings for a diner style restaurant. We definitely had leftovers. It's not the place for health conscience eaters.Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of choice in the kids menu for gluten free. Had to order off the gluten free adult menu.Kid-friendliness: The waitress was good trying to help find choices for the kiddos dietary restrictions

Was in Corvallis for medical reasons and needed a breakfast place this morning. After some online searching and asking a local, we ended up at this place. We couldn't have found a better place. Quirky, bountiful, and delicious! Just a half mile from Oregon State University, it represents the school and city in an extremely positive light. You won't be disappointed with the food or the ambiance. We showed up at 7:30am and it was starting to get busy as we left about an hour later, so maybe don't come late? Thank you WiseCracks for doing what you do and how you do it 😊 !!

I'll start with the food. It was very good. I had 2 eggs over-medium, hashbrowns, bacon & a 1/2 side of sausage with a \ Spritzer to drink. My companion had a "For Love of 'Benny'", and as an Eggs Benedict lover she said they were very good. She was a little surprised that it was made with actual bacon, but admitted she didn't read the menu closely. So be sure to read what you're getting. My eggs were cooked perfectly, the hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle - perfect in my book. The bacon was crispy but not crunchy, hard to do, but when done well, I consider it perfect. The sausage was very good also.Overall, we loved our meal. There were some drawbacks, though. The restaurant was very loud, not from the kitchen but from the dining room. The acoustics in the restaurant are horrible and acosted the ears when entered, if busy. We asked to be seated toward the back of the room, where it was tolerable. The other issue we had was we had to ask the bus person for several things - a box and if we had to pay at a register. While our server was pleasant, took our orders relatively promptly, and brought our check with appropriate timing - not too soon or late ‐ once the check was at our table we seemed to be forgotten. My recommendation - ABSOLUTELY, it is worth going time and again to try everything on the menu. But go when it's less busy or sit near the back. And don't hesitate to speak up or ask for what you needn't and read the menu closely.Parking: If you can't find street parking in front there is a parking lot in back and an entrance there too.

Very popular brunch spot in Corvallis, be prepared to stand in the line at least half an hour during weekend rush hours. It’s very noisy and crowded, so if you are looking for a cozy restaurant it’s not yours. Food is delicious and service is fast. Pancakes, French toasts and home fries are really good. Also Julia’s Love Child from their menu. 😋

Large crowd waited for this, and I now see why. This food was really, really good. Service was great considering how busy they were. Shout out to Miss Suzette as she heard my teen son's voice was weak due to a sore throat from yelling at football, she brought over warm tea and honey. We didn't ask for it. She just brought it as a courtesy. Good service and food. I recommend the Cowboy Benny.

A real small town classic, formerly Broken Yolk, new name but same everything else. This restaurant is the best ever, the staff are so kind and helpful. The food was amazing, just as I remembered. The jam is so good and needs to go on everything. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu here. Great decor and go Beavs

Wow! Awesome food. And hot chocolate is always a hard one for most places but this one was not bad. Portions were good size for the price. They could use a larger waiting space or don't make people stand and wait when you have empty tables. Our waitress Sophie was phenomenal. Oh man they had the best strawberry Jam. If we wouldn't have had to wait it would have given 5 stars.

Great find in Corvallis, couldn't recommend enough. Our service was great, the food came quickly even though it was pretty busy on a Saturday morning. All of the staff were very nice. Coffee was hot and delicious, and they have a great drink selection. We got the biscuits and gravy ("the motherload"), Miss Swiss and Eggs Benny. Everything was delicious, and the portions were huge. Prices are totally reasonable, especially considering how much food comes. We've tried biscuits and gravy at what seems like every breakfast joint in the state and these were by far the best. I live in Eugene and my family came up from Southern Oregon for an event, it's definitely worth the stop!

Breakfast here isn't horrible but not the greatest either. The coffee is by far the worst ever. Service is very good and a staff that cares is good to see with enjoyable atmosphere. I just wish the food could be just a step up. Homemade jam is really good however with the corn beef hash in a higher choice of options.Vegetarian options: I usually don't order Vegetarian so I can't speak much of this option.

First, the food is great. My experience upon arrival was not. I arrived alone. Waited at the entrance for a couple minutes. No one saw me so I put myself on the 'list'. I waited a couple more minutes. A man entered and a server, a middle aged woman, noticed him and came to the entrance. She asked him how many, he said one. She then noticed me standing there and said "oh, I hadn't seen you". I said, "yes, I've been here a few minutes and put myself on the list". She proceeded to seat the man who arrived after me and then tell me I could wait for a table! WHAT? NOT COOL! I didn't want any stress so i didn't say anything. After waiting a few more minutes, a booth opened up. Another server asked if I'd been helped. I told her, "I'm on the list". She cleaned a table, seated me and provided excellent service. Again, the food was great. Arrived timely. My server was pleasant and attentive. I'm thankful I didn't end up at a table with the server who had ignored me. All I can say about her is "WTH?"

Wonderful little Cafe, quaint with a feeling of home. Love the decor, very friendly staff, quite a variety on the menu, very affordable. I can see that a lot of locals go there & are acknowledged by staff. Grandma's jam taste great. Love eating there whenever I'm in town.

The host gave me the worst spot to sit. They sat me next to a random customer. It made me so uncomfortable to sit next to the person I don't know. I waited a long time to get an order started. Food was ok. The cost of a large cup of milk was bizzare because it looks like there's only 6 oz of milk, it was $4.50 for that. The customer next to me got a free cinnamon roll, which are $5-$6 on the menu. I believe that's unfair for the people that have to pay for it. Never coming back.

Breakfast in Corvallis on a weekday, laid back, lots of variety, plenty of choices for gluten free diet and keto. My husband and I were seated quickly. Servers were attentive, our meals were both timely served and tasted great. The only thing I noted was the food on the floor under and around the tables, a quick sweep with a dustbin and broom... sure it was an oversight. I wouldn't let this keep me from eating here but it is an area of improvement.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free, the cottage cheese option helps me balance out my meal.

After waiting 30 minutes in line. I got a seat at the counter. After waiting 15 minutes, I was able to order food. Less than 10 minutes later my food came and it was cold(the gravy on the biscuits and gravy already had skin). The bacon tasted like the grill. Probably where somebody else had ordered the same thing I ordered, then they left before their food came. For a place that only does one meal they sure can mess it up.

Wonderful place for breakfast! Service was excellent and they bent over backwards to make sure my food was correct. I’m gluten free, dairy free, and egg free at the moment so very accommodating. They even had vegan butter.

A modern spin on the classic American breakfast diner, Broken Yoke has a twist on comfort food just small enough for it to still be comfort food. The cowboy "benny", a super comfort version of eggs benedict, was descent. Biscuits were great, as were the eggs (outstanding eggs actually). But the sausage was bland as was the hollandaise sauce. Service has always been good for us, but can suffer when they are smashed. Our table was a little dirty this time, even though they weren't busy, which isn't on par with previous visits. The food is definitely worth it, and the prices are very reasonable. A must visit in Corvallis for sure.

First off the food is amazing! I had the "Cowboy Benny" and it did not disappoint! Super cute restaurant with an easy going vibe to it. We did not wait long to be seated and our food came out super quick. OH and the coffee was sooooo good and the cups were so cute! Our Waitress was awesome and made sure our coffee cups were always full. We don't live near here but met some family here to eat and will for sure be back when we visit! Sorry I didn't get a picture of our food, it was only because we ate it so fast!
