This hospital has so much volume of care! The staff is highly trained, in their incredibly fast pace roles!! They care about each and every animal that comes in and out. I had to sit with my pup for seven and a half hours waiting for her to have a chance to get stitched up. Been more and more trauma patients kept coming. All you can do is wait and be thankful! As two of my other animals went through trauma and had to be seen immediately in the past there! What a Blessing to have this hospital near us, 24 hours!!!

We scheduled our new puppy in for her next round of shots and first physical and liked our vet Dr Carter very much, she was very informative and we discussed everything from food for next 2 years to spaying and a chip and timing on everything. And appreciated how much she stressed not to have our lil gal around other dogs and places dog’s frequent until she has had all her shots and even then give it a little time for her to build up immunity. We have been also been very impressed with how smoothly things run at the clinic.

They saved my puppies life with emergency surgery! The vets and staff were amazing! They took great care of my pet! The bill was fair compared to other vet hospitalsI was sad to see the low reviews this place received... but nearly all were about cost. Please keep in mind that they need to stay in business and unlike human hospitals they don't have government "bail out" support options nor donor support. Maybe someone with authority should change that so they can afford to do free work in the community for those who cannot afford emergency pet services.

Willamette Vet Hospital is a good practice with good people. during my experience, they did their absolute best to help my cat and respect my budget. I am infinitely grateful to the staff, nurses and vets that helped me and my cat. Dr Jimerson, Dr Martiny, and Dr Nelson helped me narrow down what was happening with my animal in a quick and caring way, and were very considerate and generous knowing that I had limited money, and really legitimately cared for my kitty's condition. I also witnessed multiple moments among other people present with emergencies or worries about their pets, and my general impression has been one of compassion and kindness. every time I was able to talk to someone on the phone, they had helpful information or were able to put me in touch with the veterinarian. if you are working with a limited budget, even an extremely limited budget as was in my case, be sure to communicate with the vet and nurses and staff. they will do the absolute best they can for you and your pet.

My cats were in and out the doctor did a thorough job and had me and my fur babies on our way. Probably the best pet visit I've had, I brought 2 of my senior kitties in for exams and vaccines, one is a stress ball and he did amazing thanks to the staff and the doctor, being quick and getting us in and out. Perfect visit. Thank you!

If you have an emergency it's basically the only veterinarian in Corvallis and it is quite expensive compared to other pet hospitals in the area. My experience was not positive due to losing a dog for unknown reasons. The staff was very friendly and considerate yet slow to respond to the clients needs. When I initially called to see if they could help they said there would be a 2 hour waiting time, but it ended up being 6+ hours! On top of the long wait, I spent 45 minutes in a room with my dogs diarrhea on the floor after notifying one of the staff of the issue. I would have cleaned it up myself but there was nothing in the room to do it with.We had to have him euthanized Saturday evening, only knowing his body was shutting down but not knowing why. After a week and a half we were called with the results from the lab, everything was negative. So we'll never know what caused him to start shutting down? After him being there for over 24 hours and costing over $4500 we'll never know what happened to him. The cost of doing a necropsy was almost twice the regular fee that other vets charge, so I cut my losses at that point.I wouldn't feel right recommending them to others unless you have an emergency and no one else can help. The attached images is from my last hike with Niko 2 weeks prior to losing him.

Our beloved Great Pyrenees Anatolian Shepherd mix started having seizures and then cluster seizures. I was referred to Willamette Veterinary Hospital by our Veterinarian. I called and the receptionist welcomed us to come right away. By the time I got there from Albany they had received his records and were ready for him. He received kind and compassionate care and he was observed and his medication was adjusted and monitored. I received calls from the Dr. in the evening and morning and called later after we came home and talked to the nurse as he was anxious. The administration and medical teams treated both our doggo and us so kindly. I was an emotional wreck and they patiently answered all my questions and gave great recommendations. I would suggest this hospital to anyone and am so thankful for Chet's great care.

I brought my kitten to Willamette Vet Hospital and she ended up needing to stay 3 days. The doctors and staff were all so nice and knowledgeable. I love that they called and updated throughout the days while she was with them. I’m so glad I brought her there, they took such great care of her!

The staff were kind, caring, helpful and took great care of my do Georgia. I was treated with kindness and respect the moment we walked in the door. Dr Porter is the best Vet I have ever seen with my animals. She explained everything including prices, she showed me the diagnostics for Georgia and I think we were all in awe! She spoke with me in a very sweet and respectful way even talking on the phone. I’ve been telling all sorts of people how wonderful all of you are. Thanks for taking such great care of Georgia and us.

Our dog of 12 years was in a situation which was terminal, action needed to be done soon because of her pain. My daughter recommended Willamette Vet. We live in Dallas, about 35 minutes away, our appointment was at 10:30, perfect. When we arrived, the receptionist, within 5 minutes placed us in a room with calming lighting, a enclosed patio and soothing music. The vet tech then came in an commented on our very pretty 12 year old Shih Tzu and asked if we had any questions, then the Dr. Holly came in who also made us feel confident and comfortable with our decision to Euthanize, based on the fact that even after extensive surgery , there was no guarantee should would walk again. in a word very COMPASSIONATE.

Willamette is truly amazing! The staff has compassion and they provide top notch Veterinary care for all of our fur children. Standard visit or an emergency, you'll be hard pressed to find a better hospital! AAHA accreditation and it shows - their plethora of knowledge wows me everytime! I would trust Willamette in any circumstance - thank you for being so wonderful.Just to name a few times that Willamette has saved the day! One of our dogs had a bee sting and is highly allergic - he was triaged as soon as we came in the door and cared for with expert hands and knowledge. Another was our senior was hospitalized for several days with severe pancreatitis and the around the clock care never dwindled and we were accepted and supported with open arms. They're also experienced with toxicity! Go Willamette!

Dr. Omodo and staff were wonderful to me and my kitten. They listened to everything I said. They never asked the same question twice. They were listening the very first time. I would highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital to anyone and everyone!

I was told our initials that visit was going to be $77 for an exam I expected around $150 because of the testing we were doing. They also expressed her anal glands and didn’t tell me they were going to charge me $70 for it. I ended up owing $238 by the time it was over. At no point, they told me it would cost, I NEED TO BE TOLD IF YOURE GOING TO EXPECT ME TO PAY . Especially if it’s a $70 charge. Absolutely no price transparency. Other vets in the area charge much less for the same service by the way. $18-$30

My ESA soul mate passed away very unexpectedly despite the best efforts of all the staff. They treated him with inordinate kindness & I know they really tried to keep us together. They made that last journey together as compassionate as possible. Instead of the typical exam room, they had a separate suite with a couch and a contained patio for my other dog to come in/out to say goodbye to his brother. I was able to sit on the couch and hold my boy in comfort and love while he passed over instead of holding him on a hard metal table. The vet stayed with me the entire time because I was alone. They tried to make the absolutely hardest decision and worst loss in my life as quiet and grace filled as possible and I will never forget their kindness.

For many reasons, we decided to move our vet care from another local practice that we have used for 40+ years to WillVet. They had taken care of us occasionally when we had pet emergencies and we were always very happy with them. WillVet has such a great staff - each and everyone that we have encountered has been caring and very attentive and focused on our pups and their needs. We are appreciative that they have multiple doctors and nurses and it’s reassuring to know that we are able to draw on everyone’s care and expertise. Our pups mean the world to us and we are so thankful for the care & service that we receive from everyone at WillVet.

I took my dog for an emergency and Dr. Nikitavl gave her the best care and advice. The staff is very friendly and compassionate. Unfortunately we had to po ur our Avery down but it was for the best. The whole staff was respectful and let us be with her until the very end. We will miss our Avery very much.

Been going here since 2008. They are really professional and are great doctors. Ice tried other vets in the valley. They never give me the piece of mind that Willamette Veterinary does. I travel from Lebanon to go here. They have taken care of my snake, chickens, cats, and dogs! They are an amazing team to trust your pets health with.

Have always been so amazing for my dog, providing the best care for him. Especially in our most recent emergency where he needed to be hospitalized, their amazing dedicated staff helped my dog when he was having a tough recovery after a big surgery. They explained every step of every process, making sure every question was answered. Both the Technicians, reception, and doctors helped us through every step of the way and made of feel confident with our dog in their care. They have also been so kind over the phone as well with all of my silly questions! You realize the price is worth the care when there are so many dedicated staff to your animal 24 hours a day. Emergencies with your pets can be so scary, but the workers were so compassionate every step of the way and it was very relieving. Thank you Willamette! Maverick says thank you too!

Dr. Carter was able to find a diagnosis for my cat despite having an extremely rare and difficult to diagnose bacterial infection that was eating away at the bone in her nose. I am happy to say her test results came back negative after a year of treatment with antibiotics and she is doing better than ever. Thank you Dr. Carter and the amazing team here 💕

Have taken many pets to willamette. Always happy with treatment especially when it came to treating my 18 year old dog that we sadly had to put down. They were very understanding/caring, and made sure I was comfortable, but most importantly my dog in her last moments. Would travel the 2 hours to take my pet there again, and will always recommend.

Our 4 year old Yorkie became very ill late on a Thursday night. We raced her over to Willamette Vet and they immediately admitted her and treated her (and us) with compassion for 4 days. We couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you.

I have a 12 year old dog with a history of cancer. She was having blood in her stool and stopped eating or drinking. My usual vet couldnt see her on a Saturday so they recommended that I take her to be seen at Willamette Veterinary Hospital. The 3.5 hour wait was understandable given that Wilvet has emergency services which can be unpredictable. What WAS NOT understandable is the cost of their very aggressive treatment plans that lack basic support for the condition. After a physical check, the doctor said it was clear that my dog was dehydrated due to the tackiness of her mucus membranes. . This was 3pm. They recommended more diagnostics to rule out things like parasites, blockages, pancreatitis, etc. The cost of all this ended up being $1,012. In the x-rays they said they could see some material in her stomach, but it was unclear what it could be. They recommended hospitalization over night so they could run another set of x-rays in the morning. At 8:30 pm they called me with a quote for the new treatment plan with the hospitalization. This included things like a feeding tube, injectable medications, oral medications, etc. The price was $2,963- $3,962.At this point, I asked them how she was doing and if she was able to get some fluids for her dehydration. To my surprise, my poor baby had been sitting there for 5 hours in a cage without treatment even though we knew that she was really dehydrated. I guess I would have thought the original cost of $1,000 would have included effort to meet her basic needs. I also firmly believe that addressing her dehydration should have been done before suggesting anything along the lines of a feeding tube or further medications. After expressing my frustration that my dog had gone so long without fluids they suggested that I could just come pick her up and they could give her subcutaneous fluids. They sent us home with some probiotics and recommended that we come back in the morning for x-rays ($400+) to look at her stomach. We ended up picked her up at 10pm and I am so happy we didn't let her stay. She immediately got home and drank almost a whole bowl of water. We decided not to go back for x-rays.The next day she is eating and is in much better spirits now that she isnt super dehydrated. I am sad that we spent so much time, energy, and money into getting her seen at Wilvet. My heart aches for all of the pet parents out there that have to go through this because there are no other emergency options in the area. Perhaps more transparency about the pricing and integration of the scientific method into treatment plans is what is needed to make this process less horrific for pet parents and their furry loved ones.

A couple days ago I brought my dog Ollie in who had bladder stones. I didn't know what issue was at the time. Thank god for Linn veterinary! He was in excruciating pain, and when I brought him in they don’t even acknowledge your pet, they immediately have you sit down and make sure you are able to pay thousands before even making sure to comfort your pet. I take him to linn veterinary but they were closed at this time, calling ahead of time I was told by Willamette it would be hour wait, then when I got to willamette I was told it would be a two hour wait. Business first then animal health. Very cold and callous environment compared to that of Linn vet! When in an emergency and your pet is in horrible pain to be told to wait two hours to see what issue is when they have no idea if he’ll even be alive in two hours is just beyond unfathomable.

We are new to Oregon and don’t have a regular vet yet, our cat Sarge had a urinary blockage so after calling around we took him here, drove from Eugene because just from talking to the receptionist I felt this place was quality care. When we arrived they took Sarge right away, results were close to euthanasia but Dr Cohen was soooo extremely nice and caring, she helped us do what we can to treat Sarge and I appreciate her so much for her services and mostly her kindness
