Noah and Callie sparkled when I came in. I was guided towards my matte-clay by Noah. He escorted me along as I narrowed my focus from a banana scented wax to a pleasantly scented and woodsy jar of the right stuff.His product knowledge was impressive. I browsed through a wide selection of high quality skin care, hair, and body wash products.Callie greeted me with a stunning ensemble outfit and a smile that sparkled more than jewelry ever could. She patiently explained to me the network issues that were occurring, and we chit-chatted while my card waited to scan. She explained to me one of the ways that Ulta values each customer: she showed me a selection of gifts for birthday boys and girls 😂😎.I left the store and forgot my debit card in the reader. She politely mentioned it as she complimented my outfit as I exited.I had a great time! 👍I returned for another self care product. I am a man and want to combine the face wash and shaving activities into one product use session.I am greeted by smiling faces when I enter. Cindy is well-attired, a spray of gems flourish the tips of her oh so stylish spectacles. She handed me to Bruce (Great Nail Art! Shout out to Minnesota where they had them done!, who talked with me about our high school rivalry 😜👍 and walked me through the products which best applied to my application.Noah described a few of their personal favorite products and recommended us some moisturizers.Callie bid me adieu with all the aplomb each one of us deserved.I leave feeling special, welcome, heard, and hopeful to smell just like The Man Wielding the Pick of Destiny himself, Jack Black.

The whole crew have such a welcoming vibe. They're quick to assist and knowledgeable about their products. They've created an atmosphere that is very friendly and helpful. Charlotte in the salon is the most unique and caring stylist and her instincts are spot on. Stephanie has a knack for matching the absolute best colors for your skin. Her brow bar experience is fantastic. I love spending my money here!

My husband ordered me a straightening iron for Christmas from Ulta and they shipped the wrong item (he still has the receipt of what he ordered). When he went to exchange the item today and have the the correct item ordered, he was told that he would have to return the item and pay again for the item that he originally ordered at it's current price. The correct item was on sale and Ulta is telling him he will have to pay more for the item because it is no longer on sale, even though the mistake was on them. Disgusting, and I will no longer be spending my money there. Shephora will get my business.

I had never been to one of these before, it has a highly confusing setup. Things are organized by brand, not what they do, so to compare different products for the same thing you have to scour the place. Finding something specific you had in mind going in is a treasure hunt, it could be anywhere. Not intuitive, kinda pricey.

Why my purchases didn't qualify for the free item. I was not at the register to purchase an item. I give them 0 stars for poor customer service

COMPLICATED Salon Review- Please read!I have always had a great experience at Ulta until recently. I liked their brow bar services and wanted to get a balayage done at their salon for my upcoming birthday/wedding/graduation. I scheduled an appointment with Ulta salon staff, and they were incredibly professional; they took a sample of my hair to test bleach, assured they could do a balayage per my reference pictures, and everything was set to go.I left my appointment the next day completely devastated. I was given tiger stripes all the way up to the root; NOT a balayage. My curls were shot. I resolved a day later to call for a refund on the color. However, as my (white) stripes started to fall out at the root in clumps; I decided I wanted a full cut and color refund. I payed $210 for this; I likely will need more to fix it.Ulta held up on their end...although the manager did remark that the hair damage was my fault because I've dyed it myself in the past with salon grade dye (I thought that comment was very inappropriate considering they DID test bleach it, but I didn't say anything), I still got a full refund. So for Ulta's great return policy, I give them 5 stars. Truly, their iron-clad return policy is what secures their customer loyalty.So don't go here for hair stuff... At least for bleach treatments. Probably a haircut or dark color is fine. The staff is kind overall, and the return policy is spotless.EDIT: I had to give this 1 star because I heard another story from a girl who went here a week before me and asked for pink/blue hair and left with orange hair. I think there is a clear verdict that coloring should not be done here.

My husband and I were in the store yesterday evening around 7 and we were greeted and helped by the sweetest most caring individual. She, I believe, was busy, yet went out of her way to make sure we were completely helped before moving on to other guests. Being in a store with so many choices is incredible yet can be overwhelming and we are so thankful for the person that helped us.

Unfortunately I have to come in here alot to get specific products. Every single time I come in it's a negative experience. Everyone completely ignores you. Staff insists that you make an account with them before they let you buy anything. Just take my money, is it really that hard?!?!

My hairstylist, Libbie, is AMAZING! I initially had her cut my hair because I was a little desperate and my previous stylist at another salon changed careers. Little did I know that Libbie would absolutely ROCK, and know just how to deal with my think, coarse, long hair. She is consistent every time, and so friendly and caring. I'm so so so grateful I found her and took a chance. She is very experienced for being also young. As an FYI - I can be pretty picky, especially when it comes to my hair, so know this is not an easily-won, absolutely GLOWING review! Thanks Libbie!!

Highly do not recommend ULTA. Did the credit card promo they offered, they sent bill to the wrong address and then turned us over to collections. Called corporate, no help there. After calling four times they finally called back and said they would not help. Thanks a lot ULTA, mulit million dollar company that feeds its customers to the wolves. AVOID ULTA. EDIT : read their response, no offer to help or make restitution of any kind just a typical canned Blow Smoke response.

Friendly helpful workers. The rating is just for the pricing which is absolutely outrageous. Nothing like shopping around for a day only to find the exact items purchased from Ulta normally priced 40%-70% cheaper elsewhere. For example, an eco brush set was $13 at Ulta, the exact same set was $6.98 at walmart. I'm not exactly sure what we are paying extra for. Nice employees though!

This facility is super clean and well organized however, the two times I have gone inside the staff members are incredible rude and unknowable. Great place to get shampoo and conditioner. Most staff are great. Only bad experience was a BA asking me a bunch of questions about why I don't want the credit card and kept insisting for me to apply, I wasn't at the cash wrap just in the isles looking for a product.

Freddie in the Salon is the only person allowed to touch my hair. He's friendly, funny, knowledgeable and really listens to you. His communication better starting in on the service is what makes this person so successful in creating the look I always want. Everyone that works there is very friendly. Some of these nasty comments are b r u t a l. Just go and see for yourself. You'll realize over half the bad reviews left here are not the "norm" for the store. Keep it Ulta Employees! ❤️

Merritt was an amazing help to me. She did not stop until she found exactly what I was looking for ( which i had no idea what the facial cleanser was even called) but she found it in less than 10 minutes and made me feel comfortable as she searched. The other ladies in there were an amazing help as well and I'm so glad that I went in there, this is the best customer service experience I have had in way too long. Definitely telling everyone to go into the Corvallis Ulta! Thank you ladies so much!!! ❤❤

Within a couple of minutes of entering the store, my first visit, I was offered help by a very pleasant young women. Leading me to the brand of foundation I was seeking, I was overwhelmed with the color choices. Offering her assistance she took a couple of minutes to make her suggestion. Her confidence allowed me to ask additional questions for other products that I purchased based on her advice. The foundation..PERFECT Match. I will be returning.

Specific to this store: Staff can be typical pushy salespeople. They also awkwardly chase you around the store which makes you feel like a thief. I get really uncomfortable.Specific to Ulta in general: I was devastated after watching a recent video on girlhood or something on Ulta's YT channel, featuring two creepy biological men mocking women and talking about what its like to be one. I see the unbelieving, aggressive, radical leftist "woke" movement these days but its completely outrageous how the Western world is trying to erase women's existence altogether and how desperate Ulta is to get in on that (in an attempt to try to stay relevant). No wonder there was so much backlash that they had to turn off comments on that video.It's gonna be challenging for me to find alternatives in a small town like Corvallis. However, I'll still register my protest against Ulta's bogus attempt at diversity and inclusion and stop shopping here or any other Ulta store. If Ulta wants to sell its products to men; its Ulta's business (literally). However, have some dignity! That's the least you can to honor the majority of your (biological women) customer base that brings in most of the revenue. You are a for-profit business; businesses think about revenue, not politics, let alone nasty identity politics.After watching that video, as a biological woman, I don't feel welcomed here at all.

I feel the staff were having an off day because after 20 minutes of walking around the same 5 rows I had to ask someone for help. Usually theres always someone asking you for help every 5 minutes. There were 5 customers and 8 employees 🤷‍♀️ there was a couple of times I was asking my friend questions about a product location right in front of an employee and they didn't bother to even look up and make eye contact with me. it seemed like they just didn't want to be bothered. The 20 minutes I was there I spent $80 and Its too bad for them because I think I would have spent more money if I was engaged a little.

I go to Ulta Beauty quite often. Because of that I have quite of points built up. It is through my moms account, email, number etc, which makes it convenient. Never in the last few years have I needed my mother’s ID or her to be there to redeem my points or to use a coupon. I was refused the ability to use points, even if I had my mom call the store or send me pictures of her ID. Yes, I NOW understand that it apparently is store policy to need the account “owner” to use points..? However, this was not relayed to me before hand. What made it even worse was the rudeness coming from the employees. I work customer service and I couldn’t imagine treating a customer like that. Makes me not want to come back.

This place is my favorite store! They are very welcoming, helpful, and the atmosphere is amazing. They carry high end and low end makeup, hair products, skincare products, shower products, teeth products, bath products, and much more. They also, have a neat clearance section and a salon. The salon offers manicures, pedicures, facial treatments, brow waxing/ tinting, and hair experiences for a good price. Everyone there is always there to help and the store is organized so it's easy to find every thing. Wonderful customer service.

I love this place! There are so many makeup brands here and at reasonable prices as well. The staff is all very kind and helpful, however as many makeup brands as they do have, they don't have as many as I would like... Like one of my favorite Brands is colour-pop and they don't have that there. But other than that it's an amazing store and I love going whenever I can!

Have visited here many times for assorted items, everything from simple soaps and fash washes to hair products and make up related items. The place is clean and organized by brand, so if you are looking for a new product and don't care about brand, you have to walk back and forth from section to section to look at different brands of the same item, which is a little inconvenient but I understand it's done to encourage brand loyalty.The staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and understanding of financial restrictions while still helping you find what will work best for you. It can be a little confusing finding someone who works there though, since they don't have uniforms that stand out in any way, but that's very minor.Overall, very clean, organized, and knowledgeable/helpful staff.
