Bad attitude, I went in 10 minutes before the store closed. Just take a Quick Look! A female employee followed me and asked me to leave right away! I asked her wasn’t store closed at 9:30? She said she wanted to do inventory early so that she could go home earlier! The language she used made me don’t want to go back there anymore! Discounts store and discount customer service….

Not impressed with the manager last night with the multicolored coat on that was very loud yelling at people throughout the store . She was very obnoxious. As I checked out she was up front behind the counter telling all the employees very loudly to ask every customer for a dollar at purchase and that she would be very upset if they asked them to round there purchase up . She is horrible. Very unprofessional. Corvallis store

I am usually happy to come in and browse, however - today, as I walked in the door the very first thing I saw was a dark haired older lady manager reprimanding a team member sitting on the bench right by the front door. I could hear her clearly all the way to the back of the travel bags. This went on a long time. The poor kid looked very embarrassed. So, while you are doling out helpful feedback- here is some for you: Management 101, give feedback privately. Not in front of other team members and absolutely NOT in front of customers. This was in Corvallis.

Wouldn’t let me purchase an item bc it only had 1/2 pieces. Told me I would have to wait a week while they attempted to find it before they could sell it on clearance. Spent 20 minutes in line waiting, basically was told my time spent in their store was useless. Maybe it would have 2/2 or someone could have found the second piece had the store not been a total mess. I should have been offered a discounted price.

I went to browse around tj maxx tonight and had the worst experience. It was about 8:50 when I walked thru the door and by 9 they announced they would be closing at 9:30 which is totally understandable. I felt rushed to get out of the door when I heard an employee talking over her little head set saying “we need to get these people out of here”. That is very unprofessional. They are there to work and according to google they don’t close until 9:30pm. So that means doors shouldn’t be locked until then….they should focus on making sure all there closing tasks are done so they can lock doors at the time they are suppose to instead of walking around talking like that.Please address this situation with your staff.Also I highly suggest you remove that woman from the front who was irresponsible and irritated as she should not be socializing with customers or working there.!Corvallis Oregon

If I could give them no stars I would. I was here visiting from Washington and I love TjMaxx and Marshals. I brought a pair of pants with me with my receipt because they didn't fit well and I figured I was going to eventually come to a tjmaxx or marshals here in Oregon on my visit and look for something different to exchange them too. As soon as my friend and I walked into the door the employees were just following us around. We were the only Mexicans at the store at the moment and speaking spanish and I hate to always jump to conclusions but I know that's why they were only following us. It seemed like all the employees all of a sudden had all the time just to follow us through every single aisle and talk amongst each other looking over at us and then sending one of them to ask us every couple of minutes if they could help us find something and walk right by us. The same employee asked us all like 3 or 4 times after we had told her no thank you and that we were good. I've worked retail before, I know what they assumed we were going to steal (even though I had a fanny pack on LOL). They made us feel super uncomfortable, I didn't even purchase anything because it was so disappointing.

Very helpful floor staff along with a friendly and efficient cashier. The store was clean and well lit.I asked a friendly clerk if they carried picnic blankets and she led me right to them with a cheerful countenance.This was my first time at the store. I will certainly be back in the future.

Shopping selection was great, store was very clean and well stocked but I was relentlessly hounded by multiple employees to sign up for a store credit card each time someone spoke to me and again pushed me to get it when checking out at the register. If I decline the card once there is no reason that I should be repeatedly asked again to sign up over 5 times in one visit. I’m in there to shop, not to get a credit card.

Not the biggest selection compared to other locations, but they usually have what you need for a good price. They definitely have more women's clothing items and shoes than men's. I've been here many times and normally the employees are nice, but the other day an employee chose to talk to her coworkers instead of checking me out properly. She didn't even offer to wrap a delicate item I had or pack it safely.

The store is always organized and clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Lots of different kinds of makeup. I like the jewelry selection. I also enjoy the cooking/organized selection.Bathrooms are pretty clean.

Good selection of apparel and for little girls. Bought for 2 girls and was pleased with items. Have been in other T.J. Max. Stores and variety of choices at all. Will be going back to when I can. Salespeople were friendly and eager to help. Prices are reasonable for the age group I was buying for as they grow fast.

Pretty good selection for females. The aisles are not in a way that makes browsing easy. Cluttered and Over Priced, would be an accurat4me description of this one in particular. I think if the store was bigger and they carried more than a handful of boys and men's products, it would be better. They had more pet selections in the store than the mens options.

The selection of goodies for the house or the wardrobe is one of my go-to’s! It’s never been a dull moment for me and my family to go to. It’s always a treasure hunt that we end up loading the cart full of good loot to take home! The selection is always in style with the trends. The prices are so very reasonable and not too bad on my bank account. The customer service have always been supportive and there is always an associate asking if you need help with anything. If I need help making a decision between two like items; an associate is always right there to help out!

This store is so clean and organized and the staff are friendly! Since the pandemic they have and are still actively disinfecting around the store and also their shopping carts. I appreciate the workers here! Also a tip for people who shop here instead of leaving your carts in parking spots and next to vehicles that aren’t yours..bring them back inside, this might not be a big deal to you but it can be for others. Who wants to see a cart pressed up alongside their cars? Common courtesy. TJ Maxx ya’ll should consider attaching poles to the carts so they can’t be taken out of the store.

One of my favorite stores but inventory is low because it comes from a state that hasn't opened yet. 60% or so of shoppers were wearing masks. One lady was trying on clothes in the aisle, a no no with the virus. Still, scored some new clothes, a treat after so many stores being closed.

I'm a very regular shopper at this location and normally love my shopping experience there. The staff is always friendly and remembers me from previous visits. I'm giving three stars because yesterday was a little different experience. Two employees, one who seemed to be a manager that I have never seen before so she must be new and a sales associate were very loudly discussing a matter that was very unprofessional. I tried to ignore so I wasn't sure of the topic but it was a bit of arguing over a "he said she said" regarding a situation between other employees. It was extremely unprofessional and seemed more of a conversation to have in the back and not on the sales floor. It made for a very uncomfortable shopping experience. Again I love this store and I hope in the future that they can keep confrontational conversations in private.

I spent way to much money here for Halloween stuff and so this year I am crying because I can’t afford any of the awesome stuff they have this year. Still paying on my credit card. Next year I will be able to buy more. This year I just got 2 cups with Halloween on it. I need a support group. Crying here. Lol

I stopped by this store to do a easy return and was turned away because I did not have my receipt. I had proof on my bank statement that I did in fact buy these items. I've done this before and the manager was able to return the item without any hassle. This time around, I drove all the way from Philomath Blvd to exchange an item and they did not honor it. I am very very disappointed with the way the "coordinator" handled this.

This store is awesome! The employees are extremely helpful and polite. I've been in the store three times and they've been consistent in their customer service. They do not act like you're bothering them to ask a question and seem happy to help. They've got my vote!
