Shopping here is normally fine but I want to report some misleading signage. I noticed these mini cheesecakes on shelves marked gluten free and no sugar added respectively, and while that brand does make GF and no sugar options, none were in stock. The cheesecakes on that display all contained wheat and sugar. If someone had read this sign and not the ingredients on the individual package, they could get very sick. Please remove the signage, because chronically ill people shouldn't have to be as wary as I am about checking every label.

The cashier named Sean was terrible. Didn’t greet me at all and was talking to his coworkers the entire time. I had to tell him twice that I had three waters before he even acknowledged me. Then he packed my soft sliced bread and eggs at the bottom of the back and smashed them both by putting everything else on top like pasta sauce, milk, bananas and such. It was packed to the brim and ripped the bag. I had to stand there while he starred at me after I paid and re pack everything. Half my eggs are smashed as well as my bread. Waste of money I don’t have. Thanks

The fruits and vegetables are always, always, always full of mold.Whenever I bring this up to an employee they tell me "it doesn't look that bad" and the manager has told be she "didn't look because they were fine this morning" meanwhile the box is caked in thick moldPeople who say it's clean must be going to a different store

Dog hair on the produce, dog piss on the floor. DONT shop here if you're allergic to dogs, they just let anyone's pet, service animal or not.

usually dont mind Safeway but this one in particular is so god awful I had to leave a review: rude staff, poor selection, long wait times, and opens later than the other Safeway. Sucks because it’s so conveniently close to my house and the location is great, but isnt even worth it to stop by for a quick grocery run. I’ll stick to driving across town for Walmart 👍

absurdly understaffed. the corporate model of “pay as few people to work as few hours as is humanly possible” is not working out. hire more people. give out more hours.

friendly staff, one of the best pharmacist and Pharmacies I have found in my 64 years. I've never known them to be anything but forthright an honest.I read a review by some guy named Jordan and I can't imagine that could be accurate or what he was talking about because nobody there would say something rude, or anything else like what he reported. It's busy there sometimes there may be a wait, but they're never rude.

Not as fancy as some Safeways, but adequately stocked with the things you need. I've been parked next to the store for seven hours now (pulling an all nighter) and have watched several shoppers walk from the neighborhood into the store. Having this store close by must be a real benefit. The other stores in town would be quite a walk from here, or involve the bus, so I hope this store stays around.

Rarely is there ever enough cashiers. How does Safeway expect to sell groceries with nobody to take the money. Terrible business plan. Makes no sense.

Quiet, clean, staff doesn't bug you. This place only has three self check out registers in a row with a row of product right next to it makes it kinda awkward and hard to navigate around people to the other registers....

The staff are friendly and the sushi counter is pretty good. The only downside I can think of is it's organized differently than most other Safeways I've been to so If you know your way around a standard Safeway this one can be a little confusing.

Good fish and shrimp at a great little restaurant. Good portions at a fair price. Beautiful aquariums and model airplanes hang from the ceilings. The staff are very nice...It is one of those spots where the locals eat!

I can typically find everything that I need here, with the exception of occasional outages. Management usually goes out of their way to help when something isn’t right. The pharmacy is outstanding and gets things filled ASAP.However, the store tends to attract a lot of unpleasant behavior and it makes it hard to justify visiting as often. If this got fixed, it’d immediately jump to being a 4-star store.

Smallest Safeway I've been to. Frequent long lines. Had to debate a cashier about carding my son, 15, so I could buy beer. Past that, it's in a convenient spot sometimes, and has a decent variety. Sometimes has crazy good deals on sales, but it's getting lucky.

Very small store, but they still offer a full, if scaled down, shopping experience. As a side note I hate their Safeway app! A Safeway card should be good enough!!!

Always check the expiration dates. Apparently they don’t! Especially in the dairy case.

Friendly employees. Only had one bottle return machine operating which caused a problem between two other customers that were waiting to return their cans. Employee handled himself professionally but definitely got the brunt of the situation put on him. I felt bad for him. At the end of it all I left with my cans returned and deposit money in hand so I had no complaints really.

This is by far the most awful pharmacy I have ever been to. I was a stranger to the area and had lost my Lexapro. I had been out for 7 days. I told them it was an emergency and they told me they sent a transfer request to my pharmacy at home. After a few hours they said they had sent two more requests and even called. After waiting for 4 hours I called my home town pharmacy to find out the Safeway pharmacy in Corvallis had lied to me. There were no attempts to transfer my refills. My hometown pharmacy (the Pullman Washington Walmart) said they would be happy to transfer my refills over the phone and that they would be waiting for the call. When I asked the pharmacist at the Safeway for assistance, she snarled at me that she would get to it when she could. I explained I had been waiting for hours, and that my pharmacy was waiting for them to call. I got a rude comment in reply, and decided to find another pharmacy. They also made comments about a "crazy customer" which I believe was referring to me. What a disaster, I would never use this Safeway again.

The staff were friendly and the part were good, but the store needs a remodel. The layout was a bit weird and the floors have seen better days! It's charming, but very tight and a little dark in there!

The pharmacy is great, helpful and truly care about there customers. Was helping a friend out the other night she couldn't get to her meds before they closed so I went for her in hopes somebody was still there. Thankfully there was. I appreciate this man helping me get my friends script even though he was closed and super busy. Truly appreciate him and so does my friend. It's nice to be treated like equals and that people do actually care about others.

Decent stop if you need some quick groceries, but it's small and outdated for a big weekly shop or the like. The larger stores have a lot more to offer. I give it 4 stars because of the convenience.

It's in a prime location and pretty friendly and helpful staff. A bit pricey. But all Safeways are. Still great deli and meat selection!

For the longest time this has been the only Safeway I have shopped at. I know many of the employees by name and they know mine. That changed yesterday because I will never come back to this location. There were absolutely zero people at the registers and only the self checkouts were being used. The store has 3…When I finally got there with a full cart there were no bags. I asked if I could go to the register because I had so many groceries and the woman loudly said NO! When I asked why she let out a loud sigh and said it was my prerogative to shop at another store and walked away.I have asthma so I’m still wearing a mask and I was so frustrated and had to attempt to communicate with her so much I had an asthma attack. I walked to the deli counter because I talk to those ladies every day and reported it, while hardly able to breath.Maybe it comes down to them not caring because you don’t pay them a livable wage. Maybe they’re frustrated but I’ve been frustrated and never treated a customer like this.

Stopped by to use the restroom between jobs. Some guests waiting in line didn't have masks on. A couple employees politely reminded them that masks were required. They even offered to sell the guests one when they said they didn't have any. Great job. Thank you for putting the SAFE in Safeway.

Update: The last couple times I've been to Safeway I haven't had to deal with a broken down cart, they have been trying to improve that situation. Seems like every single shopping cart has a messed up wheel.

Just had the worst shopping trip ever. I only went in for a few items and was there for an hour. One checker (besides self checkout) and only one person on line before me. Several items had to be entered manually, the checker had trouble reading the prices, the customer asked for something but could only whisper and the checker couldn't hear, then the checker could not figure out why it wouldn't let him enter the cash. During this they opened another checkstand but did not take the people that were waiting in line first while this was going on. Also the checker did not bag the previous customers groceries because he had his own bags and the customer was not bagging while this was going on. I was stick there for almost 20 minutes.Worst customer service. Downtown deserves better .

At the Silverton Safeway I worked my way from cashier to closing PIC in a year. We had the number one store in the district.3rd Street Safeway ignores virtually every shred of customer service. Cashiers are rude and pushy. No one knows how to bag anything properly. Customer Service Desk is rarely helpful or available to help. Employees make eye contact, then casually stroll past. And what the hell ever happened to paging "Three is a crowd"?Again, I've worked their jobs. They're rough. People are jerks. But we were always seeking a way to say yes to the customers. Customer service is the front line, and at this store customers are inconvenient interruptions in a low volume checks stand.I'm Andy Rooney. Goodnight

I have to say it was better than the last time. The lady that had to help me with my Safeway card was really nice, perhaps they redeemed themselves. They didn't even treat me like I was going to steal something. LOL by the way, Use the Safeway card/app, it saves you a good chunk of money.

Convenient location but it's a small store so they don't have as wide a selection. Sometimes they forget to scan a 50% off coupon and charge you full price, so pay attention during checkout.
