Excellent store and great employees! Needed help finding something and even an off-duty employee gave me directions. And I found what I needed based on those directions! Also the restrooms were in great order. And they had a Starbucks inside which is perfect though I'm not a coffee drinker! Just had to add the photo with the old hot rod in it.

As their was a mistake on a transaction someone other than the checker stepped in out of nowhere and instead of correcting the mistake kept saying I didn't have the funds for the transaction and being extremely rude to me and mouth and accusing me of yelling when I never yelled! This store should really reconsider some of their employees as they display out of character and lack professionalism for customers! Sad

Glad I just got a lecture by Denis the gas attendant for accidentally saying fill before saying $30 regular. I immediately corrected myself and he gave me this whole lecture like he was my father about it while I’m with my children in the car.

Good location and great place to shop. Look for the 2x 3x 4x rewards. This can be a busy store, but the staff can be very efficient.

Can't say this is the best Safeway we have been too. The only registers open on the night we went were the self-checkout. The person working the self-checkout wasn't very customer service friendly. A few of our items didn't ring up the right way. We tried to get it corrected only to be told we couldn't as there was no one in customer service to help. The girl actually told us to come back the next day. Luckily, we were able to go to our normal Safeway and get it fixed. We know Safeway can do better with Customer Service.

Staff are great and deals are decent. Main issue is that the computers regularly have issues and don’t add in the discounted prices. You’ll have to ask for the staff to correct the prices most times. Just overpaid by 10% since one of the items didn’t adjust properly.

It's a perfectly fine standard grocery store. Clean, good service, fairly wide selection. However, it's a bit expensive, there are often lines for checkout, and it's not the place to go for things like good artisan bread, local produce and other products, or gourmet prepared food.

Way better than the cold to the point of frigid Safeway store in Stayton Oregon. This store is very nicely customer oriented with help when you need assistance and store is very clean.My only complaint is that 2 out of 3 of my last trips for ice cream they were out of my favorite flavor (Rocky Road). I hope they will start ordering more soon so they can keep it on hand. I drive 25 miles to get to the store, so it's disappointing when there is none on the shelf and none in the stockroom. :-(

I always love to do my shopping here at this store. It is always clean and inviting. I have a mobility problem,sever balance issue. So I do love the extra help that comes from the Courtesy Clerks. They go beyond there job description. If any one of them see me come in the parking lot they go and bring me an electric cart. Try them it's nice to come and feed your family what was loaded with care into your car.

Overall it's clean, not run down and our goto store that's near us. The bakery does a good job on the bread and the deli is consistent with what youd expect at a safeway deli.I really don't like they're pharmacy as it's not timely (long time to refill or fill a sinple Rx as in days for something that isnt on backorder), the lines can be long, and just overall I've had better experiences at other pharmacies in the area.

Clean store but prices are high. I've only encountered a couple of rude employees over the years.The Safeway in Portland sells a pie for $8.99, and this Safeway charges $13.99 for the same pie. How many things are like that and why? Lowered a star and going to try to shop elsewhere after finding this out.

Okay I guess for Safeway... It's nice to see local products here. Be nice if the front entrance was a smoke free zone, kinda a bummer eating food and then getting all he second hand smoke from cigarettes

If you take the time to shop sales and use coupons you can save money here. You can down load coupons on your customer card for great deals. I enjoy the staff there. They are very friendly and give great customer service. All that being said I do not buy all my groceries here. when things are not on sale or don't have coupons they can be more expensive that some other places.

The shelves were mostly stocked and the store was clean. The staff was pleasant and seemed to be happy. The pharmacy was clean although it seemed understaffed when I was there. I will definitely return.

Only Safeway I have ever been in. Good selection and average prices. The self checkouts are the fastest, but still much to slow. I was only getting two items, but spent over 15 minutes there. The majority of my time was spent standing in a long line waiting to check myself out because half of the machines were broken and the other lanes had only 2 staffed. The place was clean and the employees were courteous. I’d give 5 stars if they would either A. Fix broken self-checkouts or B. Staff more lanes with cashiers to reduce time spent.

This has been my pharmacy for years and I've always gotten wonderful service especially from Dr Wong who has gone out of his way more than once despite how incredibly busy they are. Also Bambi who works there with Dr Wong she is always so sweet and kind despite the harried pace.My neighbor and I agree, they are working so hard, please get some more help.We really appreciate them. This Safeway is always busy but the customer service has been great. The store is always very clean and well stocked. My checker today was Megan and she was very fast and friendly. She was very understanding of me paying $20 in ones before finishing with card.

When I'm overcharged for an item which happens all to often and go to customer service they make me feel guilty like I'm trying to cheat them. The customer service people need better skills when dealing with the public. I am adding to this review the fact that you should always check your receipt they the checker's are great who ever puts prices in the computer not so much.

So nice to go into a Safeway that is clean and generally pleasant atmosphere. The Sushi chef is a nice touch as well. Always sketchy about getting sushi at a chain grocery store but this was pretty good.

Awful customer service. I stood patiently at the sandwich counter for 15 minutes while the employees gave me dirty looks, before one of them finally came over and started making my burrito, she was extremely snippy and rude the whole time. Will not be returning to this Safeway.

My wife went into Safeway to use Western Union, and it was the worst experience of customer service we have ever come across. Diane at customer service was the cashier, and at the very end of the transaction my wife asked a curious question related to the new rules from Western Union. The cashier had a terrible attitude and began being defensive. She stated that she was just following rules and had no explanation. When my wife asked a different question, she refused to complete the transaction with no explanation why.We requested to see the store manager afterwards.As she was requesting the manager over the intercom, she called my wife “very offensive” on the intercom. That is simply unacceptable and very very unprofessional.The manager was very helpful. Even after the manager came, Diane continued her bad attitude to her own manager, and refused to finish her job. Jennifer the manager had to help us complete the Western Union transfer. We never waste our time with a review like this, but what happened last night was unforgivable.It’s too bad that in this day and age, this is what customer service has come to. Diane isn’t fit to be a customer service person, and I have heard this from other people as well.

Watch your dates i went shopping a few weeks ago and had multiple things exspired.I brought it to the attention of the cashier the next time i was in. She said ya it happens alot we are understaffed. I understand understaffed but why is management not it there doing it then? Someone is going to get sick so keep an eye out .

It's a regular, run of the mill grocery store, except the only small size (12-24 oz) cold non alcoholic drinks they had were energy drinks and coffees, I needed juices or teas. I'm not sure if I've ever been to a grocery store with so little selection of cold drinks. Seems to have everything else though.

Larger than average Safeway with adequate parking. They have a nice mix of fresh produce. I frequently experience the staff as friendly. There is a good sized deli and hot food area. **Today a produce clerk why our of her way to scag a product from the back despite being in the middle of a few tasks.Beaver fans can pick up some GameDay swag along with their favorite tailgating items.

Buyer beware!Shopping in this local Safeway is not in any way enjoyable. From the entrance of mismarked seasonal items, the produce person couldn't be bothered to look up or step aside from her avocado display she was obsessing over. No hello, smile or any acknowledgement. Move on to pick up a couple items for a pregnant family member. Glad I know to glance at the dates all of the products were 1 year expired!! Come to discover this item was also expired by a year that was purchased and consumed by an expecting mother for the past week!! Moving on to self checkout.. the seasonal items I grabbed rang up regular price. I asked Roen to void it because it wasn't right. The guy didn't speak or acknowledge me just voided the items and walked away, I mentioned that the item were priced wrong and maybe check it. He still didn't speak! He came back and told me that they were ringing up correctly. I accepted it and finished checking out. I did go check the items and I wasn't wrong like he had expressed.The person at customer service wasnt much help in the matter.Safeway, if you expect us to pay ridiculous amounts of money for your items, train your workers to smile and make us feel our business is appreciated, over 40 minutes in this store and zero acknowledgement!! Do better!! Pricing is up and the quality of your produce is terrible! Expired food should be the last thing I should be worried about, shame on you Safeway!
