Absolutely the worst customer serviceI tried this place 3 timesThe first time I went from the Dr office to the pharmacy and they told me to come after 30 minutes so I left and came after 4 hours and still it wasn’t ready so I told them I will wait there and had to wait for 40 minutes to get the medicineSecond time the Dr send the prescription and I waited from noon till 7 pm then I went there and again it wasn’t ready so I had to come next dayThe third time I went next day and of course it wasn’t ready and I had to come in the afternoon to get it after waiting for 10 minutes….In the top of that you have to deal with rude unprofessional staff behind the counterSuch unprofessional place except for one pharmacist who is very friendly and nice but still the wait and the attitude of the staff behind the counter is absolutely unacceptable

People are way too critical of this place. The pharmacy was very understaffed for a very long time (and still is honestly) but the people that are working there now do an amazing job. There may be a bit of a wait when calling or going in to get your perscription but that ties back in with the limited number of people working there. All in all this place has had the best customer service I've seen in awhile from a pharmacy.

I had to transfer all meds from Nehalem OR to Corvallis because of moving. The only thing that held it up was my old pharmacy on the coast. The rite aid staff including pharmacist were courteous & efficient! All done over the phone too.

I normally don't go to riteaid for my prescriptions. My doctors office messed up and sent it to the wrong pharmacy. I walked in I was 6th or 7th in line.....I almost turned around and left. Safeway would have taken 45 minutes (dramatic I know).I know it is hit or miss with pharmacies but today was amazing! They were so speedy, but still very friendly. Ali and a young girl (didn't get her name) were wonderful. The pharmacist was very friendly as well.Thank you guys .

I'm really surprised that the average rating for this store is so low. I am always greeted by super friendly cashiers when I walk in the door and have had great experiences with the Pharmacy. I have tried multiple Walgreens and both of the Rite Aids in Corvallis and on the coast are WAY better in every single category. I have waited a few times in a fairly long line at the pharmacy, but they have always surprised me by how efficient they are despite being very busy. Always happy with my experience when I leave this store!

While trying to contact the pharmacy over the phone, I was put on hold a handful of times, sometimes being disconnected without speaking to anyone. It was an extremely long and frustrating process, and every time someone answered they would say "pharmacy please hold" and when I would try to interject with "no please wait! I was just speaking with someone" they wouldn't listen and still put me back on hold. Again, this happened more than once and by the time I was actually able to ask my questions about why I had received a voicemail from them, I WAS DISCONNECTED AGAIN MID SENTENCE AND HAD TO WAIT THROUGH THE HOLD PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN. After finally getting answers, I arrived at the drive thru. There were two cars in Lane 1 and nobody in Lane 2. I pulled through to Lane 2 and hit the Call button. No sound or reaction happened. I waited for a bit. Made eye contact with the representative helping the other cars. Still no response on the speaker. I tried hitting the call button again as I wasn't sure if it was even functioning. I got a very curt "yes we know we are helping Lane 1 first" and I replied "oh I'm sorry I wasn't sure if it even worked." They then proceeded to help not just the two cars that had been there before me, but the ENTIRE LINE THAT HAD FORMED of maybe 5 cars total. I finally got helped and received my medication but I will be transferring to a new pharmacy after this appalling experience.

Hands down the worst pharmacy in town. The customer service is non existent. I had a prescription that needed to be started immediately and they refused to tell me when it would be ready due to "company policy" . They told me the "company policy" was because they were not meeting the times that they told customers their prescriptions would be filled. So apparently instead of fixing the problem of getting prescriptions done in a timely matter they just decided to make it harder on their customers. Absolutely appalling. I'll happily be going to another pharmacy and if you'd like to know when your prescriptions will be done I suggest you do too.

I have been less than impressed with the service at this particular store over the past couple of years. I really liked going in here before the pandemic and during the first part of the pandemic. I don't have the same feeling now after being disregarded multiple times, lack of communication, feeling like I'm disrupting the pharmacy's business, and an overall lack of courtesy. I realize that this particular store is extremely busy and has had issues with maintaining staffing levels. I have most recently tried calling to see if the rest of my prescription has been filled as the medication I needed was almost out when I went in to get it filled. I was told to call on Monday to see if the medication had come in. I did that. I was placed on hold immediately both times I called and left on hold for over 10 minutes when I just hung up rather than sit and listen to the phone ring. I will wait to see if I get a call that my prescription has been filled, if I don't hear anything by tomorrow, I will be calling again and wait it out. I will also be changing my location or just go to a different pharmacy altogether. I don't want to do that as I have been with Rite Aid for well over a decade. Management really needs to pay attention to this particular location and fix the issues. I feel for the staff as they seem to be completely overwhelmed and lack effective training.

Staff is usually fine, but the amount of time to fill a prescription is sometimes days. They were out my prescription, didn't know when they would get it restocked, and didn't notify me. When I went in person to check the status they offered to fill it if I would wait. They ended up filling a different prescription that I did not request. Filling prescriptions here is usually a chore and takes a long time. Maybe it's a staffing thing, but I can't go here anymore.

I would give one star if I could. Went to this location to pick up my prescriptions and the pharmacist while talking to me about my prescriptions was on his phone texting and had headphones in. Is that not going against HIPPA laws? Who’s to say this man wasn’t on the phone while talking to me about my prescriptions or texting someone about confidential information. I am so jaw dropped about this individuals professionalism.

Usually I’ll order my prescription day before or morning of, I give them 4-6 hours before I come and pick up my medication.Every once in a while, it would have been 6 hours, and they have yet to fill my prescription. SO frustrating.Today it had been 6-7 hours. When they finally called me up, I had a short counsel with a staff member, she told me a tech would be back to give me the medication.They already knew I was very frustrated, they had me sitting there at the counter like an idiot waiting (5 minutes) for a tech to give me my medication. The pills were in sight but I didn’t wanna reach back. Finally I said aloud “does anyone wanna give me my pills??!” I hate this place and I never will come back.They seem to have a weird system about fulfilling prescriptions, extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

It's impossible to talk to anyone in the pharmacy on the phone when you call. I was placed on hold three times during the same call. The third time, I said "No, I don't want to be on hold," but she just said her little spiel and put me on hold; she didn't even hear me. I hung up. Don't even bother trying to call.

Corvallis and Albany pharmacy staff are lazy and have lil empathy towards the customers they help. Lack support and no one ever answers the phone and if they do they keep you on hold till you get tired of the wait.SafewayPharmacy in Corvallis is the best

As someone who really appreciates this pharmacy and the employees working here, I'm sorry to see the poor reviews. I've had nothing but a good experience here, with friendly and competent employees.If you can't get your prescription when you wanted, 90% of the time, not the fault of the pharmacist. Try calling ahead next time to make sure they have or will have your meds in stock, especially if there is a national shortage.If you are so indignant about waiting to receive your prescription when you want it without having to wait a long time, then don't show up at the busiest time of the day to get them.These kind people are always running and working as fast as they can everytime I come in to pick up my prescription. Sometimes I can't get it the same day due to things beyond their control. But what I don't do is raise my voice and threaten employees because my pills aren't ready when I demand them.Keep in mind these people behind the counter are human and doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Show a little more kindness and respect to the people who do this job so you can get your medication.Thank you Riteaid Pharmacy staff.Owner: Thanks for the kind words, Rob. Friday, my husband's conditioned worsened and we went to the doctor. He called in a prescription to Rite Aid Friday afternoon and gave him a pill for the short term. We didn't hear anything Friday but I thought that understandable. I call Saturday morning. Wait over 1/2 hour on musak to be told that they can't fill it until Monday because they're busy. I explain it's an emergency medication he needs immediately. She says they're still working on Friday morning's prescriptions and she can't move him up in the queue because they "made commitments", which, when you think about it, makes no sense. They got those prescriptions in, like his. She says my only option is to find another pharamacy and transfer the prescription. After a false start, I found Rice's. OMG! They were so compassionate and great. I got there and filled out the paperwork within an hour. Then we wait for Rite Aid to transfer the prescription. TWO HOURS go by. Rice's pharmacist called them every 10 minutes and was told they were "too busy" to even transfer it, which is what they told me they would do! I finally called the doctors office, got through to the receptionist, who called the on-call doctor to send over a new prescription to Rices. I started with Rite Aid at 9am. It was 1pm before I got home with the medication. I mean this sincerely to anyone reading. Don't go to Rite Aid. I'm glad they're going bankrupt. They deserve it.

I waited in the pharmacy drive-thru behind a truck with people behind me for nearly an hour. Several people tried using the second drive-thru lane, and they just sat there as well. I would have left if I was not boxed in. If there was an issue that truck should have moved out of the way. Or at least take care of people in the other line so we can go about our day. When it was my turn it took 2 minutes because I had the type of order that the drive-thru was made for.It is managements job to make sure customers are being taken care of.

Confirmed a refill via the text system at 10am and show up 5 1/2 hours later to find out that system isn't very reliable I should have called. Do better, that is horrible customer service. No wonder your average rating is 2.5 stars. Do you all even read them so you can improve the customer experience?

Horrible service , I was on hold three times each for twenty minutes and they pick up and hang up . I understand being short staffed but the WHOLE WORLD IS SHORT STAFFED. At least respond to your customers . I go there and the guy at the counter says 30 minutes if you wait here or an 1.5 hours if you leave. How does that make sense ??? We waited an hour for our prescription( eye drops for pink eye for my toddler ) the only two people there that were nice and helpful were Paul and the pharmacist. Where I work we are understaffed as well but we still answer the phone and let people know what’s really going on . Paul was very nice and very helpful. Pharmacist was also very nice and help ful. The other guy needs to take notes , sincerely a momma bear.

If you like waiting in long lines, overpaying and dealing with rude people Rite aid I'd the place to go. Do not get your prescription here. My doctor called in my prescription this morning, when I got there at 6:00 pm they said it wasn't ready and if I waited 15 to 20 minutes they would start it right now. 45 minutes later I ask them what's going on and they say they're just waiting on the pharmacist to approve it. Well she must have taken her lunch while I was waiting because 15 minutes later still nothing and she was no where to be seen. Rude and unprofessional.

Awful experience! Super unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Took 2+hours to fill a basic prescription. I’ll not be coming back.Updated: I just returned for my prescription and was treated horribly again. I had been told before to wait an additional thirty minutes. Now it’s still not ready, and when I dared ask how much longer it would be, the woman at the counter was super snide and refused to tell me how long I’d have to wait. When I replied that she didn’t have to be mean, and explained that I had a sick kid waiting for meds, she finally told me it would be another twenty minutes. I’m honestly so confused by why the staff treats people like this and how they’re able to get away with it.

if i could give zero stars i would, they never notify me when my perscription is ready and i missed an medicine i needed before a surgery because they can’t do their job and don’t prepare your meds unless you call in advance. little difficult when you don’t know what you’re calling in advance for you guys suck

Oh my god. I transferred to this pharmacy because Fred Meyer just got way too busy, and this place is so much worse. For 3 months they couldn’t refill my birth control, kept telling me they’d call, it will be in next week, then they eventually just offered that maybe I should randomly switch up the type of daily hormones I take to better suit the availability of their selection? COOL. THANKS. So, I had to order it through Amazon, which my insurance doesn’t cover.Today I go in for a prescription that I have a confirmation email from my doctor showing it filled, and waiting, at this location. I get there, they couldn’t find it anywhere in my prescription list, so I ask them to send a refill request. First they say no, then they say they sent it earlier in the morning? Then they just say, “call your doctor.” Why tf would I call the dr? It was just stupid, and all of this happened over like 20 minutes. I switched pharmacies again, I’d rather chew off my own arm than deal with this place again.NOTE: I switched to Rice’s pharmacy and cannot wait to avoid Rite Aid and Fred Meyer pharmacies forever.

Do not fill your prescriptions here if you can avoid it. I have been trying to get one medication, for three months. They call me today to come get it and what a surprise it's still not ready. This is the third trip in I have made to pick up this medication and somehow they call to say it's ready and magically it's not in the system when picking it up. If I could give no stars I would.Just a quick update, I've never blamed the pharmacists. Usually they're nice and try to answer why it happened. But 3/4 times they couldn't find the record or where or why my medication was saying it was filled when it wasn't. I'm finally picking it up and it's confirmed that it is there.

Turning me into a Karen for almost 3 years now. I've been hesitant to say anything because I understand we are in a pandemic and it could have been staffing issues. At this point, it's been long enough and it's time for Rite Aid to step up and correct the problems in their pharmacy. I'm wondering who else this is affecting. It's especially hard to deal with when one is sick. The auto-refill system and phone calls are ignored by pharmacy staff for hours at a time. I still have to go in and request the prescription, and then wait a number of hours even when it was on auto-refill. Most patients want to pick up their prescriptions when they are prescribed, and I've always waited a number of hours but they never fill them. I'm begging this pharmacy to step it up and do a better job. We only have two options in this town. Today, the pharmacy option on the automated system was circling back to the intro message about store hours - continuously for 45 minutes until I gave up. It's interesting how Rite Aid has the same response to every similar negative review but seemingly does nothing to fix the problems that are so obviously clear and spelled out for them.

They don't accept Good Rx which wouldn't be a problem...If I hadn't specified that's what I'd be using from the start. Why get a drug here for double the price, triple the wait time, and no communication? Frequently pricier, and fill times are always longer if you say you need it same day plan on getting it the next day or next week. Trying to call the pharmacy? Good luck getting through, I've been left on hold permanently about 50% of the time.

My wife is a pharmacist so I completely understand what “busy” means. This Corvallis pharmacy is slow and it is virtually impossible to call in and talk with “anyone”. I don’t blame the pharmacy staff as this is corporate America at it s finest. Maximize profits over customer experience every time. The answer is to simply stop using Rite Aid period. Realistically, that won’t happen so the choice is yours…deal with it and enable the poor service you are getting or move on and send them a strong message that you deserve better! Again…don’t blame the pharmacy staff. It takes a lot to get your script right, no one wants a fast pharmacist that makes errors. It is purely a staffing issue that is out of the pharmacists control. Think about it!
