Pretty terrible experience here. Came looking for some clippers for my dog. I asked the girl in the front for some expertise, and she said she didn't know, so she left me in the grooming section to find someone who knew. After 5 or so minutes I could hear her voice in the front again, so I walked over and asked if someone was coming. She said she thought I was "a different customer"??????? So she forgot about me and said nobody there apparently including the groomers had any expertise on the clippers. After blindly choosing a set to buy they then had no idea where the clippers actually were. So I waited several minutes for them to find the set I wanted. I typically don't do reviews on retail stores like this. But when I have a bad experience with every staff member I interact with, I just cannot be silent. I was forgotten about, the employees (including the groomers) had zero knowledge of their grooming products, and they don't know the location of the things they are selling. I would avoid this place at all costs unless you have objective knowledge of the products you need, and the location of the product in the store. I would have gladly spent 20 percent more on what I bought at a mom and pop store than deal with this. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I don’t know if I have the words to completely describe my experience with PetSmart grooming this last Sunday. My boyfriend and I took our puppy to get groomed by Michelle and he was HORRIBLY treated by Sarah B. We arrived to pick him up, as they called and stated he was ready. We waited close to probably 10 minutes in the waiting area to even be acknowledged and the only reason we were was because we overheard two ladies in the back room as my dog was barking, “oh yeah I’ve about had it with you, (my dogs name) I’ll just do what I did last time to shut you up.” Followed by what sounded like someone hitting or kicking the kennel he was locked in. Sarah then came to the front very clearly trying to lie her way out of something that we very much heard happen stating what we heard was her “placing another dog into a kennel.” (comical considering the difference in sound between the two) then proceeded to condescendingly state that since they made us “so upset” they would comp our visit. If this is how you treat my animal when I am around I can only imagine what goes on when I’m not. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will not be returning to PetSmart for grooming or better yet anything. You have completely lost our business.

Nice place. Wish I could've got my dog in for a haircut but as they were short staffed they were unable to get us in. But I am not upset about it. I did find a few things my old gal needed. I would stop here again.

I took my 13 year old cat to the groomer here. She’s a long hair kitty and was having issues grooming herself, so she needed a bath and full haircut. They did a great job making sure she was comfortable. My cat looks super cute and she seems very relieved to have all the extra hair off.

I went looking for some advice on how to help my pet from regurgitating food that she seems to have developed an allergy to. A young woman ( by the name Emma ) patiently listens to my rambling about my wanting to find a better food source for my pet without some many fillers and better nutrition . She was kind enough and patient to direct me to the right aisle , where I met another employee ,( sent by the young lady to my rescue ) who cheerfully helped me find what I needed . These amazing employees are the people that we need in our daily struggles in life. Thank you to both of you for directing me to the right food for my pet. God bless y'all.

This PetSmart location is great. All employees that I've interacted with have been friendly and helpful. I typically purchase dog and cat food, toys, and occasionally fish related supplies. Good selection!

It's a petsmart, so it has the typical petsmart selection of stuff and pricing, pro tip, make them match their website's pricing.Had a poor experience with a staff member at the fish end of the store who gave me attitude and started trying to tell me why my choice of fish is wrong in response to a simple do you have X fish species question. Mind you she had absolutely no idea what she was talking about and never asked nor had anyway of knowing what tank size or tank mates or anything else I had in mind, let alone what I do and do not know about fish. She also nearly threw a fit when I pointed out they had multiple dead fish. Worth noting that they had obviously been there for a while, they had no remaining color and their tank mates had nearly cleaned them to a skeleton already.

This store is situated in a strip mall. There are a few spots right in the front of the store for online order pick ups. Otherwise there is ample parking including a few wheelchair accessible spots. The store is regularly stocked to the proverbial ceiling with products. The staff a regularly friendly and will likely greet you as you enter. There is a cat adoption center as well as a quality in house groomer team.This is my spot too meet my furry friend's nutrition needs

The customer service at this PetSmart is UNMATCHED! I didn't catch any of the gentlemen's names but they did amazing work helping my son rescue his pokemon out of a toy. 🤣❤️ Thankyou guys!!!

Haphazardly organized so it took us much longer to find what we were looking for. Had a random dog run in the store off leash and pee on my daughter's feet - manager shrugged and said there was nothing he could do! Checkout girl Emily went out of her way to find a spray and paper towels & helped us clean up, while apologizing profusely. She also double checked the age of our puppy to make sure we had the right flea treatment before giving us the meds - wonderful girl, so thank you to her but we won't be back.

I love going to Corvallis Pet smart. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and treat you like an appreciated customer. I love that my dog can come in with me. She loves getting her treat at the checkout. I also get her a stuffed animal when I go there. I only get her the stuffed ones that help support animal shelters. I just wish there was a Petsmart closer to my home. I am an avid shelter adopter, so the stuffed dog toys are my toys that I get for my dog. My husband and I have 1 dog, 1 cat, 2 fish tanks, and 1 betta bowl. So we spend a lot of time at Pet places. I have attached a picture of my dog with her Petsmart toys. Keep up the great work.

For a big box pet store the animals for sale were all in remarkably great condition! Their tanks looked great, they weren't over full (i went on a Tuesday so I'm not sure if this was their normal stock or if they were expecting a shipment soon) and each animal was given adequate cover to hide and feel safe. I met the animal care manager (her title may be different but it was something like that) and she was knowledgeable about reptiles and seems to actually care about the well being of the animals in the store. Beyond that the shelves were well stocked and everyone was super nice and asked if I needed help and were interested in my pets and were just overall super friendly.

The staff is great, except for the assistant manager, who didn't seem to bother doing their job or helping the other employees when it was clear that the one person on register needed (and asked for) assistance, instead they ignored them from like 15 feet away and seemingly was doing nothing of consequence. The person on register was very polite and apologetic for the wait, but if they don't have any support from management there isn't much they can do. Need to replace the assistant manager with someone who will actually and actively support their employees and their customers. Their selection is alright, could use more hamster water dispensers.

The employees there are wonderful and quite helpful. They make sure you get the best deal possible, and will let you purchase your items in multiple transactions to use multiple coupons. The staff had also been patient with my dog, and were quite understanding when he didn't take them too fondly.

The staff there are so awesome I always have an good experience! I was looking for a replacement air filter for my tank, they didn’t have but store manager was super helpful with alternatives. Totally worth the drive from the coast, thank you!

The store is usually not too bust but the employees are mostly very slow to acknowledge customers. The grooming department employees act like children. They are quite unprofessional. After picking up my dog from his grooming appointment I noticed that his nail grind was done very poorly. They missed several nails. Most were barely scuffed. Overall a terrible experience. The worst part is I was giving them another chance after my wife had a bad experience with our other dog. They have now lost two customers.

The store was nice and clean on the aisles. I had never been there so I was a little lost but with the help of the associate she made it better and way easy to navigate the store. I will be going again for my pet needs.

I went to this PetSmart for the first time today with our almost 6 month old puppy so she could get groomed. We went there to get her nails trimmed, and her ears cleaned. I went into the grooming part of the store, told the lady what we wanted, and she told me it would be about a 10 minute wait- which is fine, but that was all she told me. 20 minutes later, I go back in and ask how much longer.... and the lady tells me 3 more minutes. Well, another 10-15 minutes goes by... making it a total of about 35 minutes I had been waiting- and I go in there and they tell me they are ready, and ask for her rabies papers. Well, I had NO idea I needed to bring those in. No one told me, and I even called them prior to coming in- and they didn't tell me then. The lady that originally checked me in should have mentioned that I needed those because I could have ran home in the 35 minutes I had to wait to grab them instead of wasting my time (and this store is not that big, so it is extremely hard to waste 35 minutes in that store with a puppy). And to make it worse, the lady Yvonne, was very rude about it, and told me I could go home and grab them but they wouldn't be able to get us in until way later in the day. She offered no apology, or anything- and had no concern about the amount of time I had been waiting just to be told this. A complete waste of my time, they have absolutely no respect for other peoples time. They were extremely rude and not helpful about the whole situation, and we will never be going back there.
