Great animal loving staff. You can bring your babies (Yes, my😸is my baby) in with you, as long as they're on a leash or under perfect verbal control. That means they must stay by your side or in the cart at all times, even when they see the other animals that are in the store. There's a bulk treat buffet that your pet can peruse to find the treats that they want you to buy them, and the toy bins are low enough that they are able to do the same. They've also got a tag engraving machine, so you can make a personalized name tag for your loved one, with many different shapes, sizes, and colors of tags to choose from. If you're looking for a new friend, they have many different types of small animals. Amphibians, fish (salt and fresh water), reptiles, birds, and more. Plus, all the things that you'll need to take care of them. They also partner with local agencies so you can meet cats and dogs that need loving homes

Customer service was great. We were approached and told to ask any questions if we had any. Because of limited staffing, there was a cute puppy toy at the register with a sign letting us know to squeeze the toy to alert staff when we were ready to check out. Cashier came quickly and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and charismatic. We'll be shopping there again.

Came in to treat our pups and buy a few cans of doggy food. Clean and well kept. The "clearance" section was a little disheveled and prices not clearly marked, but overall it was a great in and out visit. Hope to see the Christmas items up soon, lots of vacant spots waiting for merchandise.

Typically I would reply with 4 or 5 stars as I have always been very happy with the groomers and their service. However, the last time I took Adalae in to be groomed, the groomer (I don't know her name) and her cut was horrible. Very choppy and she did not do Addy's nail and front legs.I was very dispointed.

They take great care of the frog/reptile section. The employees seem to be invested in making sure they're happy and healthy. Tropical species are kept with appropriately moist soil, the drier species in aspen. It's nice to see for a chain store that the herptiles aren't suffering with stuck shed, etc.They took great care to make sure my pacman frog was moist in the store, packaged safely and in moist transport conditions, and was very healthy. She has grown beautifully.I've bought several glass tanks. Those on the smaller end they've made sure I'm not putting too large of a species in, which is nice of them to do.The reptile food section sometimes has dead bugs on the shelves, but in the front cricket bin they seem healthy enough.

The guy that helped me with the fish today was super helpful. Made me happy that someone knew a lot about fish to help me. It gets frustrating going to stores and no one really understands what they're selling.

Went there and waited an hour and a half with my kids to purchase a guinea pig there was a family ahead of us and the guy was super helpful with their purchase after chatting with them for about an hour he said i will be with you soon so we waited further. Even after they had purchased 2 animals and all the supplies for the animals he came back after helping them load supplies into their vehicle. He then proceded to chat with an associate for another 20 minutes and completly ignored us. We felt as though he did not want us purchasing an animal and was draging out time so left finnaly after 1.5 2 hrs with no help even though we were right next to the other family he helped the entire time.

Excellent petco!!!I loved the fact they had a size 40 fish tank for my axolotls that I couldn't find at any other petco in my area. The workers were also very kind. I loved that they had frozen blood worms and had plenty of pet products as well~!I highly suggest this place to go to for your pets!

I came in today around 9:10 this morning looking for fence for dogs. I ask for help and the lady with the nose ring and her nose would not help me she just stand around all she said was I'll be there in a minute. I stood there for 20 minutes. Watching her stand around and talking to other people and not helping me. She was rude and I refused to come back to the store again.

Poor quality toys. Spent so much money on toys that break after the first use. Such as squeakers glue failing and falls out or in the toy. Petco brand tennis balls you will need to shave regularly or your dog is at risk of blocking their intestines eating the fuzz off. When I asked the employees if anything they can do about these issues, such as replacing a squeak toy. They said " they're meant to be destroyed" and won't help at all. Spend $10 on a squeaking toy just to go home and watch it come off the glue and break in less than an hour and then my puppy is devastated. Again this is a PUPPY with puppy teeth and strength. So it's not a big adult dog tearing through toys.Only recommend buying your kibble here. That is it.

The Corvallis Oregon Petco has a nice variety of products for all different pets. The aisles are wide and nicely displayed. Our pups always enjoy going inside to shop for a new squeaky toy 😃

They were selling a Spider morph ball python, which if you know about them, you know that this animal should not be sold. This one specifically looks like it has the neurological problems that comes with spider morphs such as “star gazing”. Absolutely awful to be selling an animal like this for such a price, especially to unsuspecting people.

A good Petco with a nice selection! Employees are always very nice and helpful, I recently talked with a manager when I stopped by for water testing equipment and he was super kind! My one qualm is that this Petco seems understaffed most of the time, it can be a little tricky to find employees to help, specifically in the aquatics section. Not the employees fault whatsoever, it must be hard trying to work with so few people to help!

Traveling through? Needed to get dog nails script. Tried another store that said they took walk-ins and they had no room. The staff of 5his Petco welcomed us in and took two dogs and compleated them within an hour

My 3 month old puppy Paisley and I attended our first puppy play time. I was very impressed with Zeb, the instructor. He made sure to keep rotating the puppies between groups and for time outs to ensure they each had the opportunity for an enjoyable playing experience. Although Paisley was a little overwhelmed we will definitely go back and to see Zeb and some more potential puppy friends.
