Horrible place to shop they will rip you off. The cashiers ask you if you want a receipt or not. knowing they have a receipt policy for returns. I accidentally bought the wrong item and within five minutes I brought the item back thinking I could swap it out for the right item. I went back to the same cashier and they denied me swapping the items.VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Natural grocers is a terrible company with terrible business practices and management, I actively have found products months out of date in both dry and perishable sections of the store, vastly understaffed and undervalued employees. Rude management and constant turnover. The only reason this store was able to pass a health inspection is because the rats that are within the store are not “localized” and are coming from the same building but just one store over. If you value employees being treated well, or food and product that is low price or even within a reasonable expiration date. Do. Not. Shop. Here.

I have never had a good experience here, and they have a rat problem. They also fired some of the only capable staff and replaced them with a produce manager that is incompetent. Womp womp

Expensive store. If you're looking for vitamins this is the place to go. The stores clean bathrooms are clean. Lots of organic stuff. Very organized store. Friendly staff. They also have cooking classes. They have aLot of different Varieties of drinks. I like the Cleanse liness of the store.

The staff here is so kind and attentive. We have been shopping here for over 3 years and it’s always a pleasure coming in. The produce is great and I love their bulk section. Only thing is that I wish they took WIC benefits like the Co-Op does. :) Also, don’t buy the bees wax tubes for ears - it’s a scam! Lol! We learned the heard way BUT when the staff and I discussed it and I showed them, they gave me a full refund!

Do not shop here! Overpriced and constantly understocked, and the store is infested with rats! They literally fall from the vents, and if you walk by the bathroom, you can smell the rodents rotting in the ceiling!

Every time when I went to the Natural Grocers, the staffs were always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Recommended a lot of excellent paleo products for me and also helped to distinguish the differences between two similar vegetables. Love it! My weakly grocery store!

Last night was only my second visit to Natural Grocers. At my first trip I was so impressed with your inventory!I am learning to bake bread and decided to collect most of the flours, seeds, meals--all the accoutrements I'd surely need in the future.I was dumbfounded trying to locate things. I approached employee Ken for help. He looked at my list and walked with me to find everything I needed.I want to commend you for having employees like Ken!I will be returning to Natural Grocers regularly!Chris BaileyCorvallis.--I wrote headquarters to share my experience with them.

Asked if under new management this last year. Yes I was told. I noticed bc of a couple recent issues. Last one today they do not allow heads of cabbage to be cut in half. For a single woman like myself a whole head will spoil on me. Bad move. Forced to shop at Fred meyer who still caters ti customers.

Small enough to be homey, (if you can say that of a grocery store.) Quality, natural, organic foods, supplements and healthcare items, Natural Grocers in Salem is not overpriced. It is easy to find the health and nutritional items one might need, and the staff is eager to help. This is always a big plus for me when I shop.

One of the better stores in this chain. The rewards club is worth joining for the discounts. Great place to get higher quality supplements and body care products. Decent, but expensive produce. Bulk spices always magically out of the one you're looking for.

Consistently depressing. Natural Grocers stores always feel kind of sad to me. They almost always have what I need and the staff are always helpful and friendly..yet somehow I always feel a bit like I stepped into the darkest timeline natural food store. It's something I just can't put my finger on really, since I know the company tries to find really ethical products and goes above and beyond to offer meats and cheeses that aren't factory farmed and they source fair trade.. and all of it! By rights it should be the happiest place on earth..but sigh. It never is. I grab what I need and gtfo. Every time. Maybe it's me?

Very happy to have the selection here. Yes, more spendy, but they have stuff I like and supply stock is well executed. When I request to fix or change something, like different brand of carrots, etc. done. Staff is always helpful and friendly too. Only suggestion: Mgmt should give up on trying to make a profit on clearance items and just treat those items as lost leaders.

Many quality and organic products. Produce department offers fresh fruits and vegetables, if you want 2 stalks of celery you can get it here. I really like buying just the amount I need for cooking, not pounds of it.Parking is plentiful with a few handicap places very convenient. Staff is helpful, though they do seem to have a fairly consistent turnover of employees.Store is impeccably clean and organized with a large amount of refrigerated goods.

This place is perfect for those with special diets like paleo, vegan, vegetarian or those that just want something more healthy. They only carry organic items so it makes produce shopping super easy. I don't really like their bulk section as it is already prepackaged... but they have a lot of items other stores don't have. It is worth the stop if you want something unique. They also have an extensive vitamin and supplement area.Also it is never busy so you can walk the aisles without being mowed over like some other big stores in town.

Friendly staff and great selection for certain items. I buy a lot of my fruits and veggies here. I also go here for my vegetarian meat alternatives. Who ever their apple buyer is needs a raise. They consistently have the best grocery store bought apples in town.You can find just about any supplement or vitamin in existence, as well as a great many herbal tinctures. The california poppy tincture I buy here does wonders for my migraines

The selection was extraordinary, and the staff knew all about it, however we waited for about five minutes at a check line while various employees looked at us and walked up to the other lines going about their work before someone finally asked if we wanted to check out. Be more attentive to your check stand, or provide a bell so that you can be called at need.

I called to see if they had a supplement and Patti answered, told me they had it (which was all I was expecting), and then she ran back to get all the details of price, quantity, etc. When I arrived a little bit later she had it at the cash register waiting for me!! Talk about some incredible customer service. I was blown away and I'm recommending the Corvallis Natural Grocers to everyone I know!

I have shopped with Natural Grocers for 25 years as I lived on the Front Range in Denver and Boulder, Colorado. They were my go to store for most of my food and most of my supplements. They are still family owned and have a high standard that I appreciate. Whole Foods was in the same parking lot in Boulder and I rarely went there because prices for the same items were often 30% higher or more.I always appreciate there service attitude and they go out of there way to make sure you have what you want. Market of Choice in Corvallis does not even come close to the service orientation Natural Grocers demonstrates.If you are looking for high quality food and supplements, give Natural Grocers a try. I do shop the Co-op in Corvallis and appreciate what they are, but affordability is key for me and Natural Grocers meet this standard.

Natural Grocers has many of the best prices in town on packaged and bottled goods, vitamins, and products. They are very friendly and knowledgable. It takes an effort to make an extra trip there, but I do appreciate the money our family saves. I have been shopping there for years and will continue to do so.

Nice, friendly place but a little strange. They routinely staff only one cashier. Every time I'm there I hear that person calling on the store intercom for a second, backup cashier. It's like they're telling the universe not to send them too many customers. 🤔
