This is one of those "hidden gem" type of places. I went for MTG cards and the selection was exceptional and wonderfully organized. Too wonderfully organized. I bought too much.The staff know their stuff and were too helpful. Again, I bought too much. Did I need more holographic island faeries? No. Was I lacking mythic rare commanders? Certainly not. I became too powerful. Will be back.

The owner of the company recently cut me a deal on some power rangers comics and toys. A short time later he accused me of selling things on EBay and told me he won’t be selling me the rest of some cards. My experience goes to show that he is the only one aloud to profit. I won’t be doing business with him any longer. He makes a living on people that come across hard times. As a collector, I am truly disappointed in his customer service. The door to the entrance is also a broken hazard. Watch your kids.

May be better for activities or purchases, but never sell cards here. My wife and I brought some Magic cards here for selling. They offered what we thought was fair for the rarity and we took the deal. However, after going to a place in Eugene for other cards from the set and talking about the cards sold to Matt's Cavalcade we found we had received significantly less than fair value. Go anywhere but here if you are selling Magic cards, you'll get essentially robbed.

Fun place with all sorts of comics, gaming stuff, and vintage toys. Staff was kind. The guy working the counter, maybe the owner, asked if I had any questions. I said two - what is the cat's name? (friendly, adorable cat wandering the store) - his answer was 'pooh-bear'. Second question - what's your favorite thing in the store? His answer was 'pooh-bear' 😄❤️ perfect. Good vibe, highly recommend.

I had visited your shop, on my vacation last year, and it was Nerdvana. Bought a bunch of What If Wolverine issues to add to my Wolverine collection. Recently, I had purchased a few Drizzt Do'Urden books, from my location in Norway, and the packaging was exceptional. I recommend this LCS. Awesome guys and an epic LCS.

Matt's is one of the best little comic / collectibles shops. They have everything, action figures, Manga, heroclix, mtg, pokemon, warhammer, all the star wars miniatures, a million board games. I moved away from corvallis 3 years ago and recently visited my grandma in Albany and went out of my way to go to Matt's in corvallis. It's worth going out of your way to see. They also have a smaller shop called the mattcave in Albany but Matt's cavalcade is the best shop ever. Much MUCH larger than the mattcave. Mattcave is also 5 stars, just not as large.

Bought like 5 packs of Magic the gathering foil mystery packs from them during Emerald City Comic con and those are more like garbage packs!!! A lot of the cards are damage and , lots of creasing . One card even has a rip on it. Very poor business practices with these guys. Why the hell are you gonna put damage cards for sale??? Never again will I buy from these guys.

A lot of great selection in there from comics to toys, posters etc. The guys in the store are so very helpful & very knowledgeable of their collection. I was lucky to stumble upon them. It has the true feel of a neighborhood comic book store, kinda crammed space but with so much to offer. I will make it a point at coming back whenever I'm in town.

Stopped in on my way home to Eugene and this place is awesome. I am a comic collector and found quite a few that I have been searching for. Staff was welcoming and any questions I asked they were very knowledgeable. Great for collectors whether it's figures, comics, Funko's. I will definitely be returning to purchase more comics

This store us amazing! They always have a good stock on products. You can buy lots of products here including comic books, Magic the Gathering cards, Pokémon cards, used, older video games, card sleeves, dice, d and d miniatures, tons of funko pops, board games, card games and more. You can also sell cards to them and buy cards individually. The staff are also really nice.

We have gone here a handful of time on our way through town. Over all I think they have a wide variety of new and older items as well as a good selection of collectibles to look at.HOWEVER all but one of the times we have gone have left us with a sour taste in our mouths. While they have a large selection of comics you can’t get to most of them because they are covered in clutter and badly organized. You have to ask for help to browse the stock in boxes and the staff are almost always busy. A lot of the older figures are hidden in a back room blocked by towers of other items and to far away to actually look at, again without help. And to top it all off the woman who has been there 4 out of the 5 times has been rude and snappy to customers and coworkers. It’s downright off putting. We won’t back. Though the only reason I would go back is for the cat.

This place was a joke! It was disorganized, with stacks and columns of boxes and other products covering everything. The comics were priced way above market value, and to top it off, the staff will yell at you for trying to dig in their back issue bins. Awful, awful store. Their cat and dog were cute though.

This shop is by far my favorite nerd shop! I love how absolutely packed it is with memorabilia, toys, cards, dice, pops, books... YOU NAME IT! I look forward to seeing the bathroom updated/fixed and the magic tournaments having a heated area but all in all, this place is home.

Visited this store to help my son start playing Pokémon. We got exactly what we needed. Lots of people passionate about gaming there. Liliana helped us and was patient and informative. I wish they could expand to a larger space to make browsing easier and displays less crowded, but that sounds like a lot of work and probably extra expense.

Went for a Flesh and Blood Pre Release, which was a lot of fun. They had a large selection of MTG singles and I picked up a Spawn Figure. Great place.

This store is overflowing with comics, Magic cards, and paraphernalia. Friendly enough staff if you can break them away from the regulars that seem to dominate the clientele. Prices were very reasonable for a small locally owned shop. Paint supplies for miniature tabletop wargames was limited to one rack of Citadel paints. The selection of games was large and current. I think they had every comic known to man (not my thing, but the selection was huge).One health related note- as someone who is highly allergic to cats, the whole store seemed covered in cat dander though. There was at least one cat free-roaming the store. That certainly cut down the time I took to browse in the amply supplied store. I would have liked to taken more time. Also, I've avoided this store for the past couple of years because of thier draconian rules on the 'vid, but they seem to have let up on that at least for the moment.

They have an AMAZING variety. Everywhere you look there's something to look at. I love that pen and paper is coming back. They get some of those in. Comics are the center piece of their location.I give it four because, people are people and everyone has a bad day but sometimes i go in and feel like they want me out or more experienced gamers have seniority.With that being said, it's a good store.

Great place. It reminds me of all my favourite comic book stores from when I lived in NYC: kind of small, but tons of personality. They'll make sure you get what you're looking for. I don't buy comics like I used to, but I'd definitely recommend Matt's if you want a good, old-fashioned comic shop. They've got a super sweet cat, too. Bonus!

Every time I go in the employees are snotty, annoyed by me asking questions. When I'm ready to check out there's never someone ready to go or a clean counter to put my items on. Just all around bad service.
