Convenient place to donate unwanted/unused items.(Easy drive up/drop off doors in front of store.Friendly staff, clean store, and good second hand merchandise for resale.Prices are reasonable.Decent parking including for handicapped customers.Entry/exit doors are automated to assist those with limited mobility, etc.

Corvallis, Oregon locationI have been a patron here for 25 years. After experiencing other locations, I am really not sure a 2-star is worthy, but it's a local location that is easy to get to, so I am being generous. The staff have zero pride in the way their store runs and the shelves are a Jenga game with employees shoving items wherever space allows, rather than organizing for efficient item turnover. Perhaps this store would benefit with the bin system like other locations. A friendly crew would be nice too.

Great place for donations and for finding clothes or knick knacks. I always get my jars here, 50¢ for a nice jar is such a steal!

After being in other goodwills, this one is really run quite well and has undergone improvements over the last several years.Clean, well staffed, organized, and there’s always someone around to help at the dressing rooms that are open from 12-6pm.The music choice, goodwill radio, is a weird mix of everything from juice wrld to we are the champions. Keeps it interesting when spending long periods of time looking for gems.My complaint is that they have so many large sizes and barely any small. I know they don’t control that, but they should prioritize putting out more small sizes.

We love love love our local Goodwill! I do drop offs frequently and the staff is always so kind! They have great stuff to pick from inside, as well! I got some great Montessori style pieces for my children here and it was incredibly affordable!

I only have had good experiences with the employees at this store and have usually found what I was looking for with amazingly good deals. Also thank to everyone who donates good quality shoes and clothing for us to choose from. What's funny to me is that the shoes are sorted by color instead of size.

I love Goodwill, I love to find the color of the day I love to find the Oddball things that they have I love their Furniture mirrors pictures clothes and on and on like to go there about once a week with my sisters. There are four of us sisters and we are all in our 70s and one in their eighties and we really enjoy this then having lunch out and we like to check each other's fines out

There was a windows 8 computer that I found off the shelve to buy, but I was told at check out that they don’t sell computers and it was taken away. Don’t go here.

I’m not a fan of most Goodwills. Paying for a product someone gave away for free, so that a worker can barely survive on minimum wage, and the CEO can buy his 10th home. The deals you find here are undeniable though. Brand new items from the local Target distribution center. Name brand clothes from college students who don’t have the energy to pack all their things back into their cars when school gets out. Shop local thrift stores first, then come here instead of buying new. Sundays are best, you get first dibs on the new sale items. These chucks were $15 and barely used.

I love thrifting, but I left here feeling really defeated and wanting to go home. The employees were very rude. The cashier didn’t say a word to me while checking out and almost seemed disgusted that I was there and the dressing room lady told me I was going to make her lose her job because I had one extra item outside the dressing room….which didn’t make sense. I heard some other customer getting berated by employees as well, it just was a really awful experience for me.

Mary Ann is one of the rusest employees there. I cannot believe how I am spoken to here and how I watch other people get verbally abused here. Today I had my cart taken from me TWICE with items in it while my back was turned and while Inused the fitting room. I watched this happen to another customer and the associate he asked just said "Theres OTHER shopping carts" I will go all the way to the Albany Goodwill from now on and so should you.

I love shopping at my local Goodwill! But recently, while shopping (specifically in the toy section) I've witnessed an employee in uniform, presumably on shift, picking through the toys and picking out collectible/desirable items! It's a super bummer to see that, when you're low income and have a fun place to shop, but know the 'cool' items are being cherry picked. To top it off, she places the items in her vest for all to see 👀🤣 Girl, get it off the floor!

I like this store , but wondering why books are sold as is? I bought my grandson a book that he already had so I was going to bring it back. Obviously you don’t get money back you just get a credit.I understand that half off items you can’t bring back but why books? It just will make me not buy books anymore from Goodwill. Although I have done well in the past getting books, he hasn’t had.

Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette operates a charitable resale store at the corner of 9th & Cornell (or 9th & Starker if coming from the north) here in Corvallis. Pretty much everyone living in Corvallis and not under a rock for the past 20 years knows this... but did you know Goodwill does SO MUCH MORE?I was much more clueless before stopping by there today (19_APR_2018) and learning Goodwill offers English classes (who knew?) and Citizenship Test Preparation classes (how awesome and American is that!?).Job Connection.Goodwill Job Connection Corvallis.Did you know Job Connection not only recruits for jobs working for Goodwill, but also provides a variety of job seeker services? Now you know Job Connection DOES provide valuable services to people who are seeking work with companies other than Goodwill.Job Connection is, in my opinion, staffed by the friendliest employment specialists and is the most bloody-well-organized of any employment agency or staffing service in town. Hands down.Job Connection.Check it out.Goodwill Job Connection Corvallis, inside the Goodwill store on 9th.

I used to love shoping at goodwill but now this store and pretty much all locations of goodwill are no longer worth going to. First off all stores purposely pull off all discounted colors and only leave behind things they actually forgot about. Second is the employees get first dibs on what comes in and takes whatever they want. Third is the prices are actually rediculous. Of course there are some good priced things but in general everything is overpriced for overused things. The other pawn shops have now become cheaper to shop at than goodwill which was never the case. But unfortunately now is the case. If you are looking for an actual good deal go to OSUsed near the collage. You can get everything there at such a better price than goodwill.

I miss the olden days when you could try on clothes and everything didn't smell like it has been dunked in a vat of Febreze.Edited to add a response to the owner: Okay, so you don't clean the clothes. But there is something there that smells and saturates the clothes. A disinfectant maybe? An air "freshener"? The whole Corvallis store smells like it, and it is nearly impossible to get the smell out of the clothing. Other thrift shops don't smell like that. Goodwills outside of this area don't smell like that. What is it???

I went to donate half a uhaul worth of clothing, furniture, housewares, books, dvds and other items last night after having sorted through an entire studio apartment. I took a lot of time doing this and decided goodwill would be the place to receive my items so I called them to see how late they accepted donations and was told 8 o'clock pm. I showed up at 7 to the donation area and was treated the worst I've ever been treated in my life. I ended up crying by the end of it. This employee who told me his name was Gary was the most bitter and horrible man. He complained about his job and belittled me for the stuff I brought in and how it was packed. He made it clear that he didn't like how late we had shown up and that it was a major inconvenience to him. He cursed, he complained and he made me feel like I was nothing but trouble for wanting to help our community. I will never forget how I was treated that day. It's the worst I've ever been treated and I work in Healthcare. This man should either be removed entirely from your store or trained on how to be a decent human being. I'm horrified.

The Corvallis store is not a friendly place to go. The employee I had to deal with at the donation point was much more interested in seeing to it that I followed all the arrows in the parking lot correctly than in helping me donate. Never mind that some arrows were pointing the wrong direction. They need better quality employees to replace the small-minded dictators they have now.

If I could leave a review with no stars I would. I absolutely love this goodwill because I'm from the Oregon coast and our goodwill is significantly smaller with way more trashed clothing. Anyhow i noticed the short boyish women darker (women) worker following me and my husband around. (We are very used to this as we both have huge face tattoos witch by the way we wouldn't have if we didn't have the degree and financial stability that allows us to have them) we continue to shop and as we walk to the front of the store to check out she starts walking behind us telling us to go to the front. It was almost funny. Why wait until im about to check out and already heading to the front of the store to get right behind me demand i go where I'm already heading. She than refused to let me pay for anything and made me leave the store I had the money out visible in my hands to pay for everything I had in my cart. I was humiliated and I asked several times to let me show her my purse I was carrying and I demanded to speak to her manager but she wasn't understanding what I was asking I felt like maybe she had a mental illness that didn't allow her to retain all the information happening in the moment. either way she caused the store to lose a good customer who's in town and spends money' weekly. I hope this location gets nicer better workers whom value the meaning of customer service. And understand that when you think one thing but its not true you will do your best to communicate effectively with your customers so everyone is satisfied

After intentionally, pointedly ignoring us for nearly 15 minutes as we waited to buy something from a locked case, the cashier was incredibly rude and told us she was busy and would not open the case. Unapologetically horrible service from a very rude person, avoid this store like the plague.

The store is clean and all of the employees are polite and friendly. I love to help my family get school supplies and things for the kitchen. The recent sound system is great and they have a test bar to plug in in the back.

I am giving one star for the fact that this store won't allow people to try on the clothes in the dressing room. I understand that things changed in the peak of Covid, but this is the ONLY store I know of that still doesn't allow customers to try on the clothes they may want to purchase. I refuse to buy clothes I cannot try on!Secondly, the store is overcharging for clothing items. I come here because I am low income, but find this this goodwill charges a lot more than other goodwill stores.

I love going to the Goodwill, but I don't get to go there as much as I used to. This store seemed to be well taken care of and the shelves were nicely stacked with two exceptions. Unfortunately, both of those areas where ones that I had come to the store to specifically visit.I had come mainly to look for a medium or large dog crate. They had several there but they had other items stacked on top of them. To get a really good look at them I had to dig them out from underneath the other items first. When I was done looking at the crates and wanted to return them I had to rearrange several things to get them back where they'd come from. This took up both my time and energy. Then I went to check the pet supplies, which were nicely laid out, and the stuffed toys (for play toys for my dogs). The toy isle was a disaster! There were plastic toys, dolls and stuffed toys all over the floor with unsupervised kids playing with them. My service dog and I couldn't have walked through the isle without clearing a path first and since I didn't want to navigate my way through a group of playing kids we turned back the way we'd come. All in all a rather disappointing visit, especially for the dogs, since I usually pick up a few toys for them whenever I visit the Goodwill🐕😔🐩

I’ve been a steady customer for 10 years and have found many wonderful things. A couple of times in those 10 years I’ve found groups of items and asked if I could get a discount if I bought them all. The discount wasn’t a lot -!but every bit helps. Today I found a collection of small rugs that were actually overpriced so I asked the same question and the current manager said no, we can’t do that. I know better and I don’t like being lied to. So he can keep his rugs and I will spend my usual twice a week shopping checking out other thrift shops in the area.

This has always been my favorite goodwill. I'm a SAHM so shopping is one of my only outlets for cabin fever. I typically shop once a week. In the last year the employees at this location have become more and more unprofessional and downright rude. I have been followed, I've heard the manager imitate his Hispanic worker's accents, I have had employees push by me rudely to the point that I physically hit the book case. But none of these incidences hold a candle to today. Today the older woman who is the usual head cashier saw me approaching the register and actually made a disgusted face then said "Oh no not HER!" I was so hurt and embarrassed. I have a crazy wild toddler and I have picked up on the employees annoyance at their antics before. As someone who worked retail for years I sympathize. I know my kid is a handful and try to reign them in so as to not disrupt the store but toddlers are toddlers. I also try to always be kind and cleanly. I did not deserve to be treated so unkindly. I'm genuinely hurt by her actions.

Excellent as always. This Goodwill has an awesome team! Everyone is super nice, even at what would seem to be the most stressful of times. Everyone is really helpful as well. I am a regular shopper here and always have a pleasant experience.

Employees very nice and store kept tidy save for toy area. Affordable furniture but for me there wasn't a lot of selection in the store but I came on a Monday and they may have been wiped over the weekend. Worth checking out.
