The ambience is unique to Corvallis and it being a fun, upbeat college town and the staff's energy matches it perfectly. What a fun place to shop.

Wow Been going here for years . Have always paid for my items while I buy cigarettes. It must be buying while brown . I had called for a manager. And was told I was yelling. So sorry if you all have never heard a man talk . I have a deep voice . Instead of making thing correct. After telling the manager. That the employee had told me they do not care if I shop there . Will be going to get in contact with corporate. See what they think about your way of treating a long customer.

I want to balance this review a bit by first mentioning the months of friendly service.Tonight called for an easy exchange of goods. Each was found in the system during the return. A subtotal and division of store credit and direct debit return were mentioned.Suddenly the conversation became about a flag raised in the system about the date of my last return. The store employee demonstrates a policy over customer experience approach. I imagine this is how they are trained.Sensing this, I request a manager assist with the transaction.Gilberto arrives, and after I inquire what information might have precluded me from making the swap, I noticed his tone of voice change.I am refused service without a supporting document or event log pointing to a discrepancy.I expect gatekeeping of information in a customer focussed environment, and I want (wo)management equipped for any customer dissonance with transactional evidence such as a report of a more recent than recalled refund attempt.I'm leaving it at that for now. I hope Dean notices this and helps train a different conversational paradigm for customers to make use of besides, "this is policy that overcedes the posted policy within your field of vision, I won't explain it to you, and I will utilize my managerial authority to let you know that arguing now exempts you from normal store policy on returns. "Feel free to ask questions, I am shading it with my experience and I want to know if the information appears judgmental. I don't mind if it does, and the primary intention is to improve stressful situations like these.

Great store, only problem is that since it's so small they don't carry all the things I need. Most of my stuff I can get here though, and it's clean, and the employees are always polite and friendly.

This store is probably the most comprehensive grocery store in Corvallis. Do they have everything? No. Do they usually have what you need? Yes.I little short on staffing, just like everywhere else. The OSU students will have the store pretty cleaned out by Sunday evening. However, the overnight stockers will have it all back together in the morning.

Two days in a row I've had to stand in the pharmacy line for over an hour. It's not the pharmacist's fault they're short staffed. However it is the young & dumb store manager's fault that things are priced wrong & shelves aren't organized correctly. Yesterday I bought two packages of tp which I was charged 7.49 a piece for when on the shelf it said they were on sale for 5.00 a piece. They fixed that transaction & then charged me 13.00 for the mascara I bought today. In the picture you'll see it's marked as 8.00. The manager said he can't sell me it at that price because it's labelled wrong. When I told him he needs to go fix the shelf then he said he'll let someone know.....if you're the manager you're the one who needs to know & do something about it. If you want to give yourself a huge headache & be charged more than the prices state, then by all means go to the Fred Meyers on Kings. I however will NOT be shopping here ever again!!!

Just want to say thank you Amanda and crew again. I had two carts fulls of groceries and felt terrible going up to the cashier's. Amanda was amazing. Smiled and pleasant the entire time. Bag my groceries beautifully. Thank you also to the young man that helped me to my car.Love Fred Meyer.

Sensory NightmeyerIf you have ANY sort of condition that is aggravated by heat, excessive noise, uneven terrain, flashing lights- for your own health, do not go here.Shelves are close together and high, leaving next to no turning space for canes, walkers, or wheelchairs, not to mention it's claustrophobic and traps heat. The tiling is uneven, and has random dips and curves, making walking through here feel like a hike after a short while. And god, the utter noise pollution made me empathize with the Grinch; noise, noise, noise, NOISE... all machinery is run at high speeds so there is constant high pitched reeling, the music speakers are all at different volumes, the uneven floor makes all the (squeaky) carts clatter, it's packed so dense that your cart is bound to bash into something. Finally, the checkout has a green-tinted fire alarm (I'm guessing some sort of anti-theft beeper?) that is malfunctioning and screeches, while FLASHING, at random but frequent times. I cannot overstate how much of a cacophony of terrible sound this store is- and I was already NOISE-BLOCKING HEADPHONES.If you're any less than in tip-top shape and are in a good mood, you're going to feel like you've run a marathon in this Fred Meyer. The workers were perfectly nice, which hurts even more to see them in what I can only describe as a firework trapped in a dumpster of a workplace. If Fred Meyer was going to make shopping such a hellish experience for anyone who has any accessibility needs, they could have at least made things cheaper.

Love my produce score! Even on sale!! Thank you for the great produce staff. I went to 4 stores (SWY being the WORST AND MOST $$). All I wanted was decent produce to dehydrate. You guys Rock!

I recently visited this Starbucks location and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and efficient service provided by the baristas. They were knowledgeable about the menu, made my drink perfectly, and had great customer support. However, I was disappointed to learn that the store does not accept credit card tips. As a result, I was unable to tip the baristas for their excellent service. I believe this is a flaw in the system that the baristas do not deserve to be a part of. I hope the management can find a way to rectify this issue as soon as possible.

They close 20 mins before 11pm so don't try to race across town on your way home from work for a last min trip just wasting your gas...

I've now bought two portable CD players at Fred Meyer electronics. Neither one worked - two different brands. The first I took back, thanks. The second I'll have to recycle. Both were bought for the same long road trip but by the time we got home and unpacked, I'd forgotten about this. So, my bad not to insist on a refund immediately. But two in a row is simply unacceptable. I suspect these must have been leftovers from some cut-rate manufacturer or distributer. I won't be shopping in Fred Meyer's electronics section anymore ever.

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever used. I highly recommend that NO ONE utilize this pharmacy. They are severely understaffed and inefficient, and they underestimate their own ability to stick to a timeline. Every time I come in, I wait over 30 min in line, regardless of the time of day. Yesterday I waited for 45 minutes, only to be told my Rx wasn’t ready. I was told to come back at 9am and that it would be ready. It was not ready until 5pm. I came as soon as I could, but am still waiting in line for over half an hour, meanwhile they are actively trying to close the gate to the pharmacy to block people from standing in line. Terrible service. I’ve hit a breaking point and will not be using them again.

This is a nice place to shop at. It's conveniently a 20 minute walk from my dorm, so I can just walk or skate there. The staff is very friendly, and the selection of products is great. There are two floors, the top being toys, games, a Starbucks, and camping equipment. The bottom is the main store floor. They have a market, a clothing aisle, a tech aisle, a pharmacy, and a jewelry section. The pharmacy is a bit of a wait sometimes, but I think that's the norm. I go to this store maybe once or twice a month to shop for groceries and pick up my prescriptions, and I've never had a negative experience here.

I like Fred Meyers, it is my favorite grocery store. I have spent many 10's of thousands of dollars there. But they have the stupidest new policy, to require ID for everyone that purchases alcohol. So yes, that means if you walk in there with your 10 yr old grandchild with you, and you want to buy a bottle of wine but you accidently left your ID at home, they will say no. Just throw common since out the window. IDing people who have a zero percent chance of being under age is idiotic at best.

I love this store. It's close to my place so it's convenient and the new set up is starting to come around and become more functional. My favorite part of this store isn't the great selection of items they have, or how clean and well stocked the shelves are (most of the time).. it's definitely the employees. Mark has been there for FOREVER! And I love him to bits. He's always such a ray of sunshine and a joy to be around. Also, I can't forget my favorite gal, Jennifer! She is by far the best interaction I have ever had at ANY store. I never know how to talk to people in public and she can start a conversation that makes you feel so welcome with ease. She is a breath of fresh air to the retail industry. Today, she called her MOD just for some stickers for the kiddos, we didn't even ask for that. She saw us coming and that was her first thought, was to make my kids smile. Every time I come in the store and see her working, I know my day is just about to get better in just the few minutes it takes to check out. I truly hope these two get so much recognition at work by their peers and management. They deserve to be appreciated daily!

Horrible customer service and negligent to staff. I’ve known many people that have worked at this Fred Meyer and have nothing but negative things to say, not to mention they don’t pay people! We will be reaching out to BOLI.

All groceries you need for your house is available in Fred Meyer. I feel the items here are more expensive than Winco or Safeway but have a better quality than the other two. The place has self-checking, and items can be looked up on the Kroger app to see their locations.

- smells like fresh scent everywhere. Can’t buy food here or it will smell like a cleaning product.- carts are always astray in the neighborhoods nearby & they don’t pick them up.- charge 50c for cash back- no handles on bagsI would rather pay a little more and go to the co op for a nicer experience than support this business. The pharmacists are nice however

I have a service dog and go here a lot just because it’s close by but just about every time I’ve gone in I encounter a fake service dog in the store. It’s frustrating how stores with no pet policies allow untrained dogs into their stores. This is extremely harmful because those dogs can cause my service dog to miss an alert. There are questions you can ask handlers and stores need to start reviewing the ADA law and getting familiar with it because I don’t want to see any more fakes.

It's not so bad in here after the much needed remodel. There is more room to shop, so that's nice anyway. The aisles were previously very cramped. Other than that, it's a pretty alright store, but the prices are higher than Winco. Which, that makes some sense, Winco is cheaper than pretty much anywhere else, but I typically don't shop here except for specific items here and there, or if I just want to conveniently pick up housewares or clothes along with food in one fell swoop.
