My girlfriend and I love coming here for fish and plants for our 20 gallon aquarium. We are newish to the hobby and Bert is always a wealth of knowledge for all of our questions. Great prices at this cozy shop. Do not buy plants anywhere else.

Great store, highly recommend! I made the mistake of bringing in my toddler daughter who went on a rampage through the store and the store owner was very patient with her and gave her a few free seashells as a gift. Robert is super friendly and knowledgeable about all the fish, corals, and plants. I had to move an aquarium and Robert helped me out a bunch with water and great advice that saved my aquarium and live rock from crashing during the process!

I regularly shop here for all my fish needs. He is solid and knows well about all fish he buys and sells as well as products and how to properly care for the fish and their tanks. He's a one man operation and I give him credit for all the hard work he does to single handedly upkeep the entire store. If you're a regular, he gives you better prices as well (being that I get all my food and solution for tanks from him, as well as fish.)

BHC Coral Reef Oasis is filled with awesome saltwater AND freshwater fish! It is a coral paradise, and their freshwater plants aren't anything to sneeze at either! I think the best part about this store though is the fact that the owner is super knowledgeable and is always willing to help me sort through any weird tank/fish issues I come across. No knowledge gatekeeping here! 😁

Robert (owner) is one of the friendliest and most helpful people ever! This shop is small and doesn't have a huge selection, but they're always willing to order something if they don't have it in stock. Prices are pretty average and fair for live animals and plants, but they are open to trades occasionally which is awesome! They carry both marine and freshwater aquarium products, ranging from algae/plants, to invertebrates and fish. Service can be a little slow sometimes, but only because the owner tends to every customer and makes sure that they are fully satisfied before moving onto the next person. I definitely recommend this store over every other pet shop that carries aquarium products in Corvallis!

I talked to a nice man who worked at the store and asked him about some plants I could get for my African Dwarf Frogs tank. He was super friendly and ended up giving me 3 small ferns for free! I would 100% go back once I get a bigger tank for the frog. Here's a small photo of my little frog, Maurice, and his great new foliage.

Stopped in this place to just take a look. The owner greeted me and was very knowledgeable and open to share his knowledge. Selection of fish, both salt and freshwater varieties, was really good and they all looked healthy and happy. Tanks were labeled really well. I ended up buying a few scaping pieces. Even though they're in the midst of expanding he took the time to talk and answer questions. I highly recommend Reef Oasis. I'll definitely be going back when the need arises.

Wouldn't shop here again if he was giving away fish. Honestly the fish and tanks are in good shape. Customer service, at least for me was completely unprofessional. I've seen homeless men dress better, and have more hygiene. I have not been back, and will not go back.

The owners has over 30 years of aquarium experience. The staff made us feel welcome from entering to exiting. They are more concerned about your positive experience than making a quick buck! They will order anything you want!! 10/10 would recommend to a friend

I had a really great first visit here today, and I'll probably be back, even though it means drivingup from eugene where we also have good fish stores. Each shop is a little different though, right? I was lucky that I arrived when the previous customer was just finishing up, so I had the shop owner's undivided attention to answer my many questions and help me select fish for a new tropical tank. He is very knowledgeable and would give you information at any level of complexity you were able to understand. I was there for freshwater fish which occupy approximately half of the shop the rest being Marine. There's also a charming pet piranha, not for sale! I thought the prices were very fair especially given that the tanks are clean and well cared for. The owner said he was expecting a large shipment of different fish later in the week but I thought he had a really good variety in the tanks he maintains. And some different choices than many freshwater fish stores.

Awesome store, they really care about their fish and their customers. I asked to buy some fish and they warned me that those had only been there a few days and they were still watching them. Other store would have sold them immediately but they made sure that we were getting our Money's worth. Recommend this guy 100%

This place is amazing! Owner (Robert) is always a stand up guy! Very knowledgeable and won't BS you into buying things just to make a buck! His fish and coral are always of stellar quality and his advice and knowledge are worth more than anything you are buying! An amazing place to support and I'm glad I have him and his store in my backyard but definitely worth the trip if your anywhere in the valley.He is a one man show for now, so call if your coming far to make sure he doesn't have an emergency at one of his many maintenance accounts and needs to bounce from the shop for a bit! I could talk with him for hours.

Wonderful little shop, locally owned! The owner is full of knowledge and genuinely loves what he does. Prices are reasonable, maybe a few cents more than a giant box store but the quality of your pet is worth it. He wants nothing more than for you to have a successful tank.

Awesome place! The owner is so knowledgeable and very willing to answer all my 100 questions about starting an aquarium. They have quality fish and great about making sure fish are healthy before allowing you to purchase them. We have been in twice already. He has a lot of suggestions and is willing to offer up as much info as you need. We will continue to use them for fish purchases, food purchases and over all information about keeping an aquarium.

Googled for aquarium stores near my home! Reef Oasis popped up. I stopped in with a question about one of my sick fish. Robert came out and quickly knew what I needed to create a cure and a healthy environment for my fish! I now have happy fish! Reef Oasis will be my aquarium store from this day forward.

This little store is the best place to buy corals in all of the Willamette valley south of Portland. The owner, Robert, is the most knowledgeable fish and coral keeper you could hope to meet. If I wasn't local, I would drive hours to visit this shop. It is a small store and gets busy there some days of the week, so sometimes it helps to call ahead to find a good time to stop by.

The owner was super chill and helpful, he knew everything about any species or tank and was super cool to talk to. Definitely recommend coming here for tank advice, slate rock decor, healthy fish, etc. Speaking of healthy fish, all of them were bright, colorful, active, and very well taken care of. Lots of fresh and saltwater stuff in stock at this small LFS! Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful—will order anything you need if he doesn’t have it. The tanks are very healthy and well cared for. The inverts and plants I bought are thriving!

Nice store, but I was there from Portland to check it out and the owner/employee was asleep, tried to ask for help 3 times and he didnt budge. Left the store and will never go back since it was such a time waste.
