Best place around. They have a great selection of healthy fish, they give free/great advice and are friendly. They also have other aquatics including some I have never seen before! Also snakes, dragons/lizards & even beautiful dart frogs! I highly recommend you visit!

Animal house? It made me feel like I was in a hoarders house!To start, I am a professional reptile keeper and wildlife educator. It's my job to talk about wildlife and proper reptile care..... this places was awful! Habitats were all dirty, waters were low and covered in dirt and algae. Some of the fish tanks weren't too bad. It does not matter if most of the animals are there temporarily, they still require basic care like fresh water.You can barely move around, they have random supplies scattered everywhere. Everything was dirty.Their axolotls were in an extremely small shallow tub on top of a cold freezer.ANY PLACE THAT SAYS "NO VIDEOS" "NO PHOTOS" ETC. ARE USUALLY UNETHICAL PLACES!!!DO BETTER FOR YOUR ANIMALS AND FOR THOSE OF US WHO ACTUALLY CARE FOR THOSE ANIMALS!This should be considered animal abuse and neglect!

Honestly, as an animal lover and a reptile fan, I'm disgusted by the quality of "care" (lack thereof) provided to these animals. The neglect is beyond excessive across so many species. I understand not having a ton of space. So have less animals and proper enclosures. This is an extremely unethical business. Consider a reputable breeder instead, and other alternatives for supplies.These conditions are straight up CRUEL.

I'm mostly purchase live food for my mantises to eat and wax worms for work. Service here is friendly, hopeful, and kind. The crickets and wax worms that I have purchased are always good quality and live long enough to be used fully.

The #1 most AMAZING store in Corvallis!!!!!! So many animals!!! You would not expect that from it's unassuming house exterior, but once you enter you're in a humid, bubbling oasis. There are strange and wonderful animals hiding in every corner. Their assortment is curated with interesting freshwater and saltwater fish, birds, reptiles, frogs, and tarantulas. On top of this they have beautiful starfish and aquatic plants, and a multitudinous assortment of aquarium accessories. You can quite possibly become lost and spend hours in here.

Great Mom and Pop business. Assuming it was the owner, but he was very helpful and informative, regardless. Bought a bird and supplies. They had new and used options on cages, which was good. Prices for the supplies mostly seemed fair. The bird seemed expensive, but considering it was the only one of its kind we found in the valley, I was okay with it; and I know they have gone up a lot in the last few years. Check this place out to support local business or if you are trying to find a unique bird, fish, or reptile.

The employee who helped me was awesome, very knowledgeable, and patient with us. He was also very thorough with all of my questions and concerns. It was quite literally the experience you want to have when you're not sure about what animals get along with each other. I will be coming back! Thank you for helping me and my family out!

Amazing! Absolutely amazing! I remember coming here as a kid just to look at the fish but I recently bought a few snails and a goldfish from them. Service was amazing. The guy who helped me gave me great tips and tricks on how to keep my tank clean and lively, and he was rather cute, wish I would have gotten his name. But I will definitely return.

Just saying this as someone who browsed and not didn't buy anything:Very claustrophobic feeling (especially for a big and tall guy like me), but once you get past that this place is a pet owner's dream! Staff were nice and the selection of reptiles, birds and especially fish were so broad and diverse and something I've never seen in ANY other pet store in the Willamette Valley. Resonable prices too, would recommend!

What an amazing family owned store. I love to see local businesses and this is one my favorites. A place I stop by for all my animals and fishtanks. Amazing reptiles and fishes omg and the colorful amazon frogs are cool too.

The building itself is unassuming until you go inside! It has an unorganized style to how they lay out their product that makes the place charming and approachable. The owner was really nice and knowledgeable and helped direct me down the right path for one of my frogs. While I was there I got asked if I need helped at least 5 times total and I was only there for 30ish minutes. They have a wide variety of fish and reptiles! They even have a Cockatoo greeter that really made the visit worthwhile!

Habitats were dirty or to small for some of the animals living in them. Some animals didn't even have clean water... most didn't have water at all.

This is my go-to local fish store. Dale has a fantastic selection of fish and has been extremely helpful in setting up my tanks and has given me great advice when I have issues with my fish or water quality. Carlos and Robin are super competent and friendly when I stop in as well. Excellent LFS!

Interesting combinations of pets and they do seem to care for them and keep the place clean.Large fish selection, good reptile selection. Their prices might not be the cheapest but the quality is usually there to make up for it.

So so so so good!! 100/5 stars! They are so nice and great for pets that aren't cats or dogs! They have everything from squaky bird friends to creepy crawly friends! There prices are good and you get great quality items and service! It is a bit warm so don't wear too many layers. It has to be specific tempatures for the animals inside.

Animal health and state of the enclosures were troubling the many times I have visited. Many live animals are very overpriced and not in good condition. They knowingly sell sick fish to customers which is unacceptable. Dry goods are overpriced and a lot of perishable items are either very close to expiration or expired because they don't have a fast enough turnover on them. They are a small business and can price things however they want to stay profitable, but I recommend going elsewhere for pretty much anything pet related you might need to save money and get higher quality goods.

Conditions for the rodents are absolutely horrendous. Dead animals seen in buckets and many rats crammed into small tanks clearly distressed and in poor health. I’m not sure how this place is allowed to operate under these conditions. Please do not support this cruel place.

Excellent spot for the fish hobbiest. I've bought many fish and plants from Animal house and have never had an issue, all healthy. He carries a rotating selection that always includes a good variety. Highly recommend for quality and diversity. The owner is knowledgeable and genuinely has a love for the animals.
