Second time in here today and again customer service. The older lady with long white hair at register didn't notice that I walked in she was on her phone. Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I needed (ink pad for stamps). When walking out, the same lady looked at me and continued being on her phone. I was the only customer in i, and I wouldn't be surprised if the store closed.

The lady behind the shipping counter treated me as an inconvenience. First encounter I figured she could have had a bad day, second encounter was a bit worse. Yesterday needing to ship a computer of for school. Following instructions on the emailed label I asked if she could scan the bar code. Instead of explaining to me how they do it, she gruffly said that's not how it works you have to email it to me she then did not wait for me to grab the paper with the email, instead she tossed it at me as she was walking away. When I had to ask if it was a 0 or a letter o that annoyed her even more. I have never been treated like this at a place that runs services for the public. I am a patient person as I work in retail as a manager. This attitude is unacceptable and she likely treats others like this as well. This business would have more sales with out this sort of treatment of its customers. This person makes me prefer to drive to the other side of town to get prints or use the mail service.There were only two employees she was behind the shipping printing counter with dark hair.

Went to store to return product to Amazon. I was told by employee (male, dark curly hair, no name tag) that he couldn’t process “that label.” I asked if I could email the label to him. He told me that the email wasn’t working. I asked if any other store in town could help. He said no. He said to drive to Roseburg, a four plus hour round trip. I left store. Went to Mail Box and Parcels, two blocks away. They did the process in less than 5 minutes. Randy and James, great service. I called Staples to speak with Store Manager. Put on hold. No check back…hung up after 10 minutes of music. Poor customer service, unhelpful employee, bad phone service. I’ve purchased a number of items at Staples, but they’ve lost me as a customer.

Today was my first visit to the Coos Bay Staples to return two Amazon items. I was new to this process and Tabitha walked me through the procedure in a very patient and helpful way. She was very knowledgeable about the process, and communicated it in a thoughtful fashion. Trevor, who also assisted was very friendly and cooperative. I have bought supplies there previously, and being treated so well has encouraged me to return for more purchases.

Emily was extremely helpful in getting my return to Amazon taken care of after another store employee rudely refused and said i had to go to roseburg or Eugene. I am 78 yrs old and disabled so that servive was very appreciated.

Always happy with my print orders here! Fast and friendly team. Incidentally, today I witnessed a woman being very rude and unreasonable to a staff member behind the counter, Juan. He handled it like a total pro with way more grace than I would have had, doing everything in his power to appease her and move things along. Impressive people skills! Raise time. 😉

We were just at Staples to buy a printer. The sign at the printer listed a price. When we got to the cashier, there was someone a few people ahead of us who we thought was making a return as the cashier took the printer box back. When we got to the register, the cashier quoted a price almost $200.00 more than the sign. He said to another employee, "here's another one that the sign was expired on". They were going to charge us the higher price even though it was their fault that the price sign was wrong. I've never had a store, esp. a big box store, pull that kind of thing on me. Needless to say, we told them to keep the printer and we'll buy one from Amazon. In fact, we never need to visit Staples again. They get one star because there;s no option for a negative number.

I simply went to Staples to utilize their guillotine for a project. I've been before to get supplies for other projects, but this set me off. Needing a bookbinding core to have the edges trimmed, and I said exactly that while gesturing, the girl at the print center promptly sheared off the bindings and handed it back. All my work, instantly gone.So, I now need to buy more book paper, from Staples. More printer ink, from Staples. More glue and mull, from Staples. All I needed were some straight edges, and now all I want to do is burn the place to the ground. The workers need proper training, because she obviously didn't listen.

I ordered 2 desks online. Staples quickly took my money. 20 minutes later they sent an email saying they didn't have the desks I ordered. It has been 8 days since stable took my money and sent me nothing. The fact that they take you money before they even check to see if they have the product they are selling is horrible business practice. I will never shop here again. I suggest you stay away unless you enjoy poor customer service.

Returns for Amazon for UPS are ridiculous. They can't just scan the code and print the label like usps nor can they print the label when you send it to them. They are not even supposed to help you print the label using the self service printer. This is all due to some a-hole upper management dude who thinks customer service is a waist of time. He should be fired. I feel awful for the staff who have been told to treat customers this way.

Molly in the printing department has been absolutely AMAZING!!!! I have had to have menus printed for our buisness Coyote's Food Truck several times and each time on my end when I send in what I need printed it sends it to them weird and she goes above and beyond to make the changes and fix it to how it needs to look for me which takes time cuz it's a b*** to do but she does it with a smile on her face and still gets it done fast!!! I can't say enough praises about her and how amazing she is!!! I'm so thankful to have her help me each time!!! And if I don't like it and still need something changed she does it right then and there!!! This woman deserves a raise and to be acknowledged because she goes WAY beyond anyone else ever has for me there and with a great attitude everytime☺️

Just left staples next to Walmart. I had one page to print off my phone. The kid at print counter. Said go over to that printer and do it! He tried to help me, I lost my .70 cents. He couldn't do the download. Total waste of time. I had to walk out, so mad.

Walked in ready to purchase a chosen laptop with cash in hand and was pretty much told no laptop could run a any games and nothing staples carries will, even though my two year old model of the exact same laptop runs these programs just fine. Lost a $500+ sale for computer and accessories by treating a customer as though they are ignorant for asking questions and dismissing presented knowledge when trying to narrow down and purchase a product.

Be very afraid if you forget your receipt on returns. They will give you less than 50% of the purchase price towards an exchange. Corporate policy that basically takes advantage of every customer that walks in the door without a receipt.Last $ they'll see from me.

I was so pleased to be greeted with a smile in the copy/print center two weeks ago at Staples in the Newmark Center, Coos Bay. The courtesy and professionalism of the two young women working there should be commended. I came in with an 'idea' and they pleasantly executed it on pretty card stock for me. The price was very reasonable. Many customers came and went while I was waiting and were greeted with a smile and quick service. Thanks! I'll be back :)

I went to this store today and stood waiting at the tech counter several minutes. Then I asked a lady with long gray hair if she could find someone to help me, (I’m a woman) she said ”he’s with a customer”. So I stood there and stood there and I saw a man come up and say to her “ I need some help” at the tech counter....and guess what? Help was there within seconds! What kind of woman dismisses another woman in favor of a man in a retail situation in this day and age? RUDE! And sexist! I’m disgusted....

The woman at the fax/copy center is always very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The store is quite large and has a great selection of office products. The prices are reasonable & the quality is excellent.

I have recently done additional business with Staples which started out good but then my efforts to get help with product-development and marketing have been met with excessive greed and distorted perceptions on the parts of Staples' employees. My requests and agreements made have been twisted and distorted, customer service waning and efforts to work things out have been met with, at first some effort but then a 'snapping-back' to greedy, insistent talk!

Just like other posters have said, limited knowledge, or just trying to upsell me, not sure. I was told the i3 laptop with 8GB of memory would not be able to open multiple browser tabs or run MS Office. Completely ridiculous.

They have been out of stock on Window decal sticker paper, and then asked that i come in to order it directly to my house, but then were unable to order it. Then told me to wait for the next shipment to come in a week later, now that I'm calling to see if it came in I'm sitting on hold for 15 minutes just for someone to check an isle for a product.

Anything you need for today's copy's and equipment they have .I found some family photos , 2x3 inches from the 1920,s no one who they were .After Staples enlarged them we were surprised, Ever hear of a "Mule Skinner "?
