This person did a very stupid shoddy job cutting a white bread foot long and that stupid old moron smushed the bread when he cut it. Honestly all of you people freaking suck 😡😡😡My advice to anyone don't come or use this worthless deli here at the Coos Bay Safeway or North Bend one either. Great vibes & plenty of options to choose from. Needed a Safeway Gift Card & cashier went out of his way to go grab it for me as I'm an out of towner & had no clue where to find it. Thanks so much & we'll definitely be back in the future!

This is a beautiful location. Veg in the middle of the store is a great idea! Easy in, easy out. Friendly service and there are single cans of hard seltzer! Like every Safeway they still need to work on making sure everything has a price tag. But, to their credit, it wasn't hard to get a price check.

Sherry Decamp , if I could give a minus 100 stars I would !!!!!! Just got done talking to the assistant Store Director and how much has changed . After the incident that happened on Friday with her pharmacy deot . She defends her rude dysfunctional crew !!!! I realize you need to protect your employees butwhen your employees are the problemyou should be in the position to fix the problem. Mangers are not managers anymore , they do not not care about their consumer base or their consumers at at all.Not sure why they even have mangers that they so incompetent; it is very disappointing and especially since this is a woman , what a disgrace for every woman who wants to make it to management position ! It is a recipe heading for disastrous right now they or she makes sooo much money to care about her consumer base to do the right thing or give a Damm because the store always have more consumers to replace the ones that they mistreated. Only when they stop having a consumer base will any thing be ever done about it , only then will they be forced to hire decent honest who actually do their job and care about the consumer who by the way pays for their extravagant salaries.

The store is very much like every other Safeway, with the notable exception of the Deli. They are consistently the least responsive that I can recall.

My son needs a inhaler for school, and this pharmacy won't help him at all. They have been nothing but rude and obnoxious when I come into grab my medicine, and even when I have called to get the status of my medication. They interrupt you whenever you have a concern or a complaint. Shelly is the worst. She looks like she hates life so much that she's willing to make everyone else around her miserable. She has even gone so far as to try to start a fight and also has shoved my bag of medicine into my hands instead of nicely handing it to me over the counter. Mary, is making my son's doctor's work overtime just trying to get my son's inhaler filled. Overall, don't go here, they don't care about you or your family, they would rather see you struggle.

The pick-up options are amazing! I scheduled for 3, thinking I would have to be there between 3 and 4. SAFEWAY has a much more generous window for pickup. I could come between 3 and 8 pm. Love the flexibility.

I've eaten beef from every store in town and by far the best tasting, marbled yummy rib eyes and it's siblings has to have been and still is Safeway!!! Everything else rocks too..

It's Safeway so you get what you get with processing and what not. This store always seems clean, the meat and veggies are good, and the staff I've interacted with are friendly. Can't ask for much more.

Cleanest, nicest Safeway I've been to in a long while. The checker proudly told us he'd been there 35 years... wow!If you know how Safeway prices things and know how to work their weekly digital coupon deals, sometimes you will get a steal of a deal!

It would be very helpful if the meat/seafood department would put cooking instructions with every purchase. I bought stuffed shells & had no idea on how to cook them or the temperature needed.

Safeway is a large store however everyone there is friendly and happy to help you. I am a long time customer and am happy with the deals and rewards we receive. They make shopping easy with the app you can shop ahead and create your list. I can't say it is as cozy as cheers but their constant quality service and how they represent the store makes it easy to be a loyal customer happy

I have grown up with Safeways all my life. Generally I find them to have great deals but currently their prices are too high and Fred Meyer and Walmart have better prices right now.If you are shopping at Safeway be sure you have your Safeway Card and load digital coupons and personal deals for your best prices

I like this place, it's easier to move around in for me in my wheelchair. They have a turkey sausage with andouille seasoning, I really like it. The employees are nice and will go out of their way to help you. If you have not tried the turkey sausages, I highly recommend them. Have a great day and stay safe.

Best Safeway in coos county. The people here are kind and treat everyone equally. Not just the sicker mom's and elderly, but EVERYONE. If you know what I mean you know what I mean.The selection here is vast and the bakery is wonderful also.

It was ok, set up slightly different than most Safeways I shop at. I didn't like the narrowness of space between check outs and end caps. I used self check out so other than a clerk asking if I needed assistance while in an aisle I can't comment on customer service. However that alone is better than my local one.

Polite and friendly staff at this Safeway store who are willing to assist in finding whatever you may be looking for. They are even willing to go out of their way and check the back when the shelves maybe out of stock. Friendly Checkers and Badgers who are willing to assist you out to your vehicle. Produce is always fresh and delicious. The meat is always Prime Cuts. And it always smells delicious because of the Bakery and Deli and of course the Starbucks. There's also a lovely floral department right up front to enjoy on your way in and out of the store

Compared to food prices at the CA Safeway near our home, prices here are more reasonable. Standard selection of goods and services typical in a supermarket. Produce appeared fresh and of good variety. Friendly butcher in the Meat section. Store on the smallish side for a chain market.

Nice little store, however it isn't as nice as the one in North Bend. This is a smaller store but still nice. Plenty to choose from . The employees were friendly enough. Nice to chat with while checking out. For us it takes some adjusting when figuring the store layout. Nothing like walking back and forth to find things. None the less we love Safeway/Albertson's.
