Farrs always does the job right! And they are even able to offer help over the phone - so that what WAS an emergency becomes just something that can be fixed at a later time. What a relief!

We love in the Florence Oregon area and needed to get our new gas oven adjusted correctly. We couldn't find a local repairman that would work on it but one did tell us to try Farrs in Coos Bay(one hour away). They were able to fit us into a last minute opening the next day. Randy arrived, went straight to work and had everything working perfectly in 15 minutes. He told us everything that was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. It certainly gives you a good feeling when someone that really knows what he is doing is working in your home. Customer service was also excellent and they acted like they really cared that we would be helped. I would recommend Farr's appliance service to anyone with any reservations.

I always receive excellent service at Farr's! Today Brett was quickly able to help me find the components for my water filtration system and get me set up with a new wood stove.Also, shout out to the young guy in the paint department who has helped me several times in the recent past. They really do have everything!

Received a flyer in thursday evening mail, only 2 days ago. Great sale on bogo paint! The flyer says sale April 6th-9th. My husband works Fri and Sat unable to get in. Because tomorrow is Easter, he called to make sure if they were open. The women who answered phone, not identifying herself, said they will be closed. My husband inquired about said sale and she agreed that was an issue. But she said she wasn’t told info about extending sale so she transferred to paint dept. Man answered, not identifying himself, and my husband asked the same questions. Employee flatly said no sale extension. WRONG! False and misleading representation to consumers!We have LARGE house project and money to be spent in local economy and thank you Farrs for making our decision simple to not spend ANY money in your stores!

As much as I love hardware stores, I haven't actually visited Farr's Hardware... but their appliance service person has visited my home twice. And I live in the middle of nowhere. Randy was the person who made both calls, and both times he diagnosed the problem over the phone which allowed him to order the part I needed and have it available for the on site visit, rather than having to wait a couple of weeks for it to be shipped in. Once he was on site, he was vastly knowledgeable, very respectful, and fast. I recommend Farr's Appliance Service for anyone who needs to get an appliance serviced and operable as quick as possible.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever had!I wanted to buy a pellet stove but got ignored. When I finally got ahold of an employee all he wanted to do was walk away. You think when you're going to spend $5,000You could get some customer service! I will never go back to this place! I will drive to Roseburg if I have to!

My husband and I have used this business for multiple things from water quality testing to special order appliance parts to installation of purification systems. We own a home in North Bend but live out of area. The customer service in this business from Dana in hardware to John and Liz who helped order our parts to Brian in the pump dept has been excellent. We would highly recommend this company. Thanks to all of you including the friendly cashier's.

Horrible customer service!!! Had them down to replace a part and service my pellet stove (stove was purchased from Farr's). I was given the impression that the part was under warranty for a year. It took over 2 months to get an appointment to get the auger part replaced to begin with. The weather was warmer when they finally made it down to replace the auger in my stove. I didn't use the stove for a few days because it was so warm. When it finally kicked on, it sounded like a metal ship tearing apart. I thought it just needed some break in time to get the grease, that is in the sealed unit, to get moving around and lube it up. Regrettably, the weather was so warm that I didn't see the stove run while in the room. It was only coming on maybe once during the very early morning hours. So, here we are with a faulty part. Contacted Farr's in person about the problem. I was told that it was not a problem, that they would make it right. I had to wait for someone to call to schedule an appointment. An appointment was made for a month later. Today, the day of the appointment, I get a phone call from Farr;s a little over an hour before my scheduled appointment, telling me that there will be a charge for someone to come look at the stove and for the part. We were over the 90 days for the part and that is all they allow for a warranty. It was barely over the 90 days when we scheduled the appointment to begin with, and they know that you don't use the stove during the summer. Horrible service!!!!! Don't trust anything that they say, they will lie through their teeth to milk more money out of you! STAY AWAY FROM FARR'S IF YOU VALUE YOUR DOLLAR!!!!!!!!!

Its was excellent. The staff were beyond helpful even up to closing time. The cashier was a delight too. The selection of items was great. It was going to cost me 120.00 to fix my vacuum, they had a hose that I could use to replace the one ripped one...$3.29. Thank you, Thank you

Real quick! Had two keys made. Spent $20 only had$100 bill. No concerns to Farr. My money was good. I can't tell you how many times other businesses don't have change or just say can't cash my large bill($100). Thank Farr for you quick help and service. For also taking my large bill...Love you and will be back again and again

They say they have everything but hey dont have cinder blocks. I walked into the store in coos Bay and asked where the cinder blocks were and the store lady looked at me like I was crazy for asking. Kinda rude. A customer must have seen my perplexed look and guided me to another hardware store that had them. I won't be back I'd rather pay a bit more for better service and actually having what I need

After being out of water for a week, not able to get another local business to respond, it was suggested we call Farr's (didn't know they did well work). Brian and his associate came to evaluate, said it was the pump and came the next morning to install new one. What knowledge and professionalism!!! They were patient and understanding to our circumstances. Have had the best service, no matter what the situation over the years.

Good/wide selection of products and hardware... Although, they tend to stock your most common items. Definitely not a "one-stop-shop", but what do you expect from a small town store? The employees are all very helpful and seek you out... You're not stuck searching the entire store for help. I give 4/5 stars, only because, out of 10 items I usually have to order 1 or 2. Staff is 5/5!

Farrs has been repeatedly the place I go for Hardware, and Building needs including my Fireplace needs and shelving as well as lighting. This Store has an Awesome Staff, they are very informed know their products and will help you at figuring out your needs for any project. The Prices usually beat other Hardware and Building Stores as well as their Customer Service which is Outstanding I recommend Farrs to anyone who has Hardware or Building Needs or just a few house projects. They make it Happen.

5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s for Jesse (younger guy from Sacramento) who loaded our garden rocks this morning. Excellent customer service with a winning smile! Yard work is no fun, but really helps when you get friendly service from your local hardware store!And customers!! Don't be rude! Tip these guys if they're using their muscles to load your stuff for you!!

For the area this store deserves a 5*! It's tough to find a hardware store here with pretty much everything from all appliances hoses and cording to kitchen pans. Their stock levels are great and service is smart and attentive. They are in a very convenient location and prices are competitive. They have restrooms and are wheelchair accessible

Best hardware store in town...love the parts bins for screws, springs, bushings...you name it. The locked glasses in tool cabinets slow shopping down quite a bit, so if I have tools to buy like wrenches, pneumatic nails, staples, oddball sockets I shop elsewhere. Guess they had to tweaker proof it. But for small parts...cant beat it. Great for well parts...relays, pump tech products!

My husband and I went there needing simple plumbing supplies. It took 3 different employees before anyone would talk to us. The 3rd was rude and said He didn't know anything about plumbing. We felt all the staff was rude, short, and just not knowledgeable. After this all occurred, we walked out and to9k our business to ACE!! We will not be returning to Farr's.

It was a seriously lacking experience in almost all fronts. They had a lot of general tools & supplies for your home improvement projects, they just lack any depth in their inventory. You end up with little selection in brands, styles, & parts, but the prices make up for those shortages with a MSRP pricing scheme. There customer service is lacking too, I had the misfortune of being in there @ 4pm on Sunday, which is there closing time. I was made aware of this fact by the turning off of most of the lights on us. Well, I needed a spare car key made & while waiting for the employee to guess @ the blank they should use, the cashier grabbed my stuff to ring me up while she was cutting the key. When I got the key, instead of listening to the fact that I would check the key to see if it worked, the cashier was to preoccupied with getting me locked out. So, a minute later, when I was back knocking on the door to tell them the key didn't work, they were turning out the last of the lights & sneaking out the back door! If you want limited choices, high prices, & customer disservice; Farr's True Value will accommodate you. But other than my return of the defective key, I'll go anywhere else.

Nice place, but the two lady's working the front counter/cashwrap talking could greet people when they come in. The people in the back of the store were very helpful. And the service checking out was great too. I'll shop there again

My wife & I wanted a dehydrator and nowhere else we checked had one, we had first checked at Farr's in Coquille two weeks ago and were told neither store had one, we called Coos Bay Farr's to see if they had received any in the last two weeks. They had some Presto brand dehydrators, and after asking the sales lady if she would buy that brand for herself, we bought one plus two extra trays over the phone and had them delivered curbside.I have never had a bad experience with Coos Bay Farr's and would highly recommend them to anyone needing almost anything to do with your house except furniture.Stay healthy and safe out there,TBL

This IS the TVHardware for me...they are the best informed, friendliest, helpful people I can imagine. I needed a string trimmer (replaced/stolen) and it will come swiftly, with a call (and a payment, of course). Each and everyone have been kind and attentive!
