no care whatsoever for the poor animals stuck in their store, and they don’t mind selling people animals that are a foot/fin in the grave. spend your money where it counts if you truly have any interest in animal welfare.the staff was also nowhere to be found, and when i finally found someone who was in the back on their phone to ask where the fridge was, i was told to go find it myself, which was quite startling and a sad excuse for “customer service.” same lady rang me up and had a even more sour attitude when i asked to enter my number for points. didn’t realize it was an inconvenience for someone to do their job. truly disappointing in all aspects.note for non fish-keepers: the last pic of the clownfish was them fighting to the death. one died and the employee said they would let the fish guy deal with it tomorrow because she didn’t want to / they closed in an hour. pretty sure it doesn’t take an hour to remove a fish.

Yep, Petco. Actually this place is pretty good, especially now that they've added some membership perks including veterinary care. The veterinarian is better than I expected. They're gentle and careful and I feel like it's an upgrade from some of the stupid COVID era drop off your pets from the parking lot style veterinarians I'd been going to recently. Also, they don't require me to sedate my cat before seeing him. How did that become a thing?

Purchased a In The Zone steel walk through pet gate today fo $99.00 . I specifically asked the cashier if everything was in the box because it was all taped up as if it was previously opened and she stated yes. Missing the instructions. Thankfully I figured it out after several attempts. Although I have parts left over. The cashier was also not friendly. I use their grooming services and have always had good luck.

NOT PROFESSIONAL!!! Went in to pickup an online order. The first associate we ran into was friendly and directed us to the correct counter. The store was not busy at the time, 1 person ahead of us. The cashier on the other hand seemed to be having a bad day and it felt like she was taking it out on us. We ordered 2 - 25 pound bags of dog food and she lifted them and attempted to throw them into my arms. Not knowing whether I could carry them or if I had any medical issues. I expected a cart or a warning that we would be carrying them out. Not a thank you for coming in or here’s your receipt. If this is their standard, I won’t be shopping here again.

Zane is the manI have been complimenting him in other reviews but he still hasn’t gotten a raise… he is amazing (and I am not even related to him) but he should be acknowledged as he is an awesome character/employee and you all should be happy he is working at petco.. he is upbeat and fun and quirky and always helpful and knowledgeable

If you call the customer service line they just transfer you do dead air. If you call 4 times they give you dead air 3 times before finally picking up and provide the serivce you'd expect.Now onto pricing. If you order ONLINE prices are about 30% less than in the store, you have to ASK to get the online prices so for everyday people they're taking advantage of you. Just a really garbabe policy, I'm sure is corp driven but this store has a choice to not be bad and chooses to rip you off instead. Go to a local store not a chain.Edit: Don't just give a canned reply, look at all the other similar reviews...make your damn store better or move on.

First off get your checkers to shower once a week at least. If they can be smelled 12 ft away, someone needs to wash. Secondly, this checker that was there today told me to take my basket and put it back when I left after my purchase. Umm yeah I don't work there, I did put it back but learn to do your job or stay at home.

I’ve been to quit a few vets within the last few years, and I gotta say that this vet clinic is probably the best one i’ve been too! Decent Pricing! The staff makes sure both you and your pet are comfortable no matter what circumstance! My poor kitty has a hernia and they definitely showed their concern and got us scheduled as early as possible to get him into surgery! I couldn’t thank you guys enough!

Too many employees standing/stocking(?) and too few cashiers! The lines are hellishly long and unbelievably slow to check out. They also seem to have trouble stocking items consistently (specifically food for my guy, who is allergic to LOTS of foods, so he can only eat a few certain ones).

Purchased an item here and it was broken in the box when I opened at home.Took it back to the store same day and they had no record of the purchase in store. Took about an hour to get things situated even with the receipt that had the time stamp and everything on it. The employees and manager were just aloof about the whole situation and just kinda left me flabbergasted at what happened.

They sell cats at this location and Hamsters, Mice and Guinea pigs. They have a lot of fish to pick from to. The place dosen't stink either. All the pets living Conditions seem clean. If you are looking to adopt a cat then call before you come in to make sure they have Cats on hand. Because the cats are so popular they Get adopted quickly.The staff at this location is kind and helpful. They tell you useful tidbits of information that they think might be it pertinent to you in your situation. Just a really positive experience here. Found a lot of dog clothes on sale here to for good prices today.

I bought a collapsible dog crate. When I got home I realized that it had been a return. When I opened it up there was a lot of white hair all inside. It should have been marked down!!! If I lived closer I would have returned it.

Was looking for flea meds asked the clerk if they have any meds in a different location and explained to her that i have been in multiple times and there never any 3packs she had a attitude and said they dont control what gets delivered i have been in to this location multiple times over the last 6 months and there are always out of the 3 pack of meds but have plenty of 6 and 8 packs witch make it difficult when on a budget

They refused to sell me feeder goldfish because my 50 gallon fish tank was “too small.” Lady didn’t even give me a chance to say my koi is probably going to eat most of them anyways which was why I wanted more. Also there is no way a inch long goldfish needs that much space. Never coming back.

Eva Can't even make eye contact when she tells you to go wait at the register while she goes and put stuff back on the shelves.I was about five seconds from walking out.People like her that are gonna save me. Money by shopping online rather than walking straight into a petco and buying it off their shelves.I'm glad I wasn't trying to buy myself a second chameleon or anything.

We went in 8 minutes before closing, we walked exactly to the fish we wanted, asked them to help us and they plainly said no. “It was only 5 minutes to closing”Very disappointing. We will go to Petsmart tomorrow morning instead.

This location is pretty nice. Always clean and the staff are always super friendly. Only negative thing is they aren't always in stock of my cat food (Natural Balance LID). Otherwise this is my regular store for shopping for my pets.

Always enjoy visiting Petco, we love to come in and see the fish and small animals. We didn't have a pet we just love visiting. But a couple weeks ago we came in and couldn't resist one little guy they had in.. we are proud parents of our sweet little boy Gizmo. I've always talked about having a ferret and for my birthday my husband surprised me with a visit and we took him home. The employees were very helpful with all the information we needed for him and happy to see he was going to a good home. We just love him so much. He is the sweetest little thing. Thank you Petco!!

Ordered for delivery said works be here at noon, called at 1230 store hasn’t even gotten order ready then at 130 got notice the package would arrive at 205 at 220 got another notice saying it would arrive by 3 what a terrible job taking care of customers no apologies will go out of my way to give my business to their competitors

Ya I suggest to anyone buying mealworms to open the container....and check if they are alive for one and then check the size.... I just paid $4.99 for 35.... supposed giant mealworms....some were.... while others were so tiny I could hardly pick them up....so more the 3/4 of the food I bought for my turtle is useless.....Thanks for nothing...(10-1-23) can't believe it..... I wanted to give them another chance .....and came back ..nothing has changed....this time I'll show you my pic...😐... literally just bought and when I opened the top in the store it looked ok... then when home dug down a little bit to find all the dead ones....😑

I like the place. Definitely gonna come back. But only for the pet supplies. The vet clinic they have on site is too busy. They told me i got to wait for appointment for my cat like 3 weeks. So i go to Willamete clinic. I wait like for 1.5 hours. They take me in the same day i call. So yes,Willamette hospital rock's

Needed feeder fish. Selection was a little puny. Store is otherwise clean and well stocked. I had no trouble getting help.
