For a one star hotel, 10/10, would recommend. The place is really dated, obviously. That said, our stay was perfect.The lady who checked me in was very friendly and welcoming.We were in room 9, and it was clean and things worked.- No bugs, no hairs, no mold.- Our room had a TV (which my kids didn’t like because it didn’t have YouTube haha), a microwave (that we didn’t use), and a mini-fridge that kept our stuff very cold, borderline icy.- The bed was comfortable enough.- The shower you have to pull out the handle and then twist to adjust and it is a little tricky to get exactly the right temperature, but once you’ve got it, it is great. After days of camping in our car, I enjoyed a long hot shower without running out of hot water.- Room heating took a bit of time to warm up but not too bad and I had to lower it.- Despite being fairly close to the road, our room was quiet and we all slept well.- WiFi was slow, but for being in kind of the middle of nowhere at a 1 star hotel, it was adequate.

NOT 'First Come, First Serve!' These shameless crooks R price gouging astronomers! Normal Friday night price at time of review is ~$90. Price for a Friday night when they're at almost perfectly centered in the moon's shadow's path for the following day's solar annular eclipse is 333% of that($300)!!! GUYS! A bit of a markup in such a situation makes sense, but this asinine price you're charging ensures only the rich can stay there that night! So disgusting!🤢🤮Noteworthy details: Money grubbing crooks

It was restful. The room inside was very relaxing,clean and quiet. The owners were hardworking, hardpressed nice people with a lot on their plate. It might do the Motel well to order a few new door locks from local locksmith. A touch up carpentry job is in order..Didn't experience any bugs. It's great for an overnight trip but a tad pricey for value. I think it's but check with local Police department for reports. Shower was practically new. Front drive could use a sweep. Air Conditioner mostly worked but TV remote difficult to operate. I had a good safe,rest after a full day at Crater Lake.

If you are visiting crater lake and value your safety, avoid this motel and the town of chemult all together. There is some kind of makeshift bar/ transient drinking hole on the property with loud drunks fighting through the night. People tried to get into my room at night and car alarms went off all through the night. I was supposed to stay in this dirty motel for 2 nights, but i packed my bags and left first thing in the morning.If you need accommodation for Crater Lake, try airbnb or head to Klamath Falls.I'd only recommend stopping for food in Chemult if you enjoy midnight diarrhea.Avoid chemult at all costs.

It is a budget motel so you get what you pay for but all in all it is not too bad. Motel office man was very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean enough. Heater works great once you get it fired up and going. Shower and bathroom is small and tight but everything works fine. Carpets are clean. Bed is comfortable. Pilot truck stop located next door for any items you may need. Subway restaurant also next door in truck stop. Not too bad of a place really.

I stay here once a year on my annual road trip to Reno. Yes it’s old. But the rooms are clean. You can park in front of your room. They actually accept cash!!! I will be staying here again next week. The owners are very friendly.

This Motel is a great deal. It's clean and reasonably priced. ( $65 for two beds) The furniture is a bit dated. But everything is functional. The sound of the neighbor's bathroom running water is a bit loud, the bathroom is very small, but overall, on a cold night staying here was a better option than contributing to drive on the Icey roads.

Close to Crater Lake. Parking in front of room. Room was cold but heater worked great. Bathroom was a little tight and small. Bed was clean and very comfortable. Only issues were the smell of the room, it was awful. And the remote control looked like it never has been cleaned for years. It's definitely an older motel but works if only one night.

Pretty clean, good heater, affordable price and pet friendly. We needed somewhere to stay the night after icy wind made the road too sketchy around midnight. We were stoked to have a safe warm place to crash.

Dirty, smelled bad, pictures hung in weird spots and crooked. There was dirt along the wall that was very gross. The bathroom should have been much cleaner. Yes it's older. Yes it's cheap-ish. Yes it's close to crater lake. But none of that excused the shape it was in. If I had not had a booking error and found myself without another option I would have left as soon as I saw it. It was better than sleeping in my tiny over packed car. Barely.

Although this place looks very shady from outside, it pleasantly surprised me when I entered the room.The rooms where clean with all amenities like heater, fridge, microwave, tv, etc. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.This place is located besides a food court and gas station. So had no issues finding good breakfast and get on road immediately.Hat tip to the owner who was courteous enough to let us check-in at 2 am.Overall a good option if you want a quick place to crash for the night.

I wanted to like the rooms as the lady on the phone who I booked it with was so nice. Unfortunately the rooms are so old and in disrepair it's impossible to tell if they are clean or not. The sheets have stains on them which I hope are due to age, but might not have been. I've stayed at many motels at a similar price point and this is one of the worst. Really this place should either have a lower nightly rate or make some repairs and upgrades to improve ratings. I'd recommend staying elsewhere if you can.

The hotel is incredibly run down and that is putting it nicely. The rooms were dirty. I found multiple hairs upon my pillow and bed. There were ants and even a centipede that I found in the bathroom. The lock on the door was nothing other than a simple chain that latched the door shut. The TV couldn’t even be operated by remote as I had to find buttons upon the unit to both turn it on/off and change channels. To charge a person $75 dollars to stay here is an absolute travesty. These rooms would warrant nothing more than $15 a night! If you are passing through this town and see this place you are better off to just keep going. To top it off the people living at the end of the hotel are incredibly loud and to call them unsavory would be doing them a favor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!!!!

So to give you an idea of what you get for 109$/night the beds are dirty (hairs, not the head kind), sheets are stained. Rooms are tiny and have bugs. Bathroom was small enough i couldn't sit on the John unless I was at an angle (think airplane bathroom with a 3x3 shower stall) WiFi doesn't work.I've stayed in a lot of motels but this one is pretty bad. Almost surprised I didn't catch bed bugs or scabies .Close to crater lake but bring your own sheets!

Has everything you need!! A fridge, microwave, and tv. They are so cute and cozy and clean. Traveling from WA state on our way home from California. Couldn't drive anymore and called. Customer service very nice. I wouldn't mind staying here again at all. I paid $300 for a different hotel in california that didn't even have a microwave. I loved it here.

Travelling from Reno to Seattle last night & got a little too drowsy, so I needed a place to get some sleep. This was the only place in town that had vacancy & an attendant on hand when I arrived at 11:30 pm. The place is old, but my room was clean and stocked with the amenities I needed. Price was fair. Attendant was friendly. If you're in a pinch like I was & need to get off the road for a bit, it's a good option.

We needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours and this was one of the only options we had in the area. The area isn't the best, but can't expect much from a small town. Upon arriving into the room: it was decent for the prize. It was the cleanest room I have been to. The walls and some of the curtains were dirty. The bed looked and smelt clean. For the price it is decent.

Contrary to some of the other posts, the staff was friendly and the room was clean. The place is what you'd expect for a 1-star motel - a cheap place to get some sleep before you continue traveling. I would recommend it if you're not picky and you want an affordable place to spend the night.

It's okay for a night. I wouldn't want to stay longer. It's clean and tidy but a bit run down and small. Electrics could do with updating as the lights would dim if something was plugged in.

One of three or four motels in town. A bit dated, and the rooms are packed with furniture. Manager is courteous and parking is ample. Had to park a small uhaul with car dolly. Next to Pilot truck stop, so easy access to food and supplies.

It was ok for what it was. A cheap little motel alongside the road out in the middle of nowhere when too tired to keep driving. The place was old and a little ran down. No phone, No AC , rooms really small kinda clean (when I say kinda clean I mean it's clean as like someone's house clean not as clean as I would expect from a business necessarily) right next to a truck stop so a little noisy but not too much. No bugs, works for like one night maybe two if you planning on like going to creater lake or something

It's an old motel. With that being said, it's clean, quiet, stink free and the water is great. Been here a week and the owners are happy to address any issue. I don't normally sleep well in a motel but I sleep like a baby here

Decent sized room, tight bathroom spots but very clean rooms. Dry affordable price and good location- 30 mins from crater lake. No breakfast provided just have coffee in the morning.

Wow! Super clean and comfortable!! Nice people in lobby. Doesn't look like much on the outside but is one of the cleanest motels I've ever stayed at. Bed was super comfortable!!
