Did a pitstop on our way to North Oregon and picked up chips "on sale" at two for $6 and they both got scanned at $3.95 each! Feels like a scam for people who do not notice. We had to get it adjusted and it was a pain cos there was a long line! Also, don't get fooled by the name, nothing is near close to a dollar here.

I enjoy shopping here now since the new manager took over at the beginning of summer! There are no more rolltainers in the way so it's easy to maneuver around the store now, and you're able to see and get to all the products! I shop there at LEAST once a week for my household, the customer service is great, it's nice to hear "can I help you find something?" And you can tell the employee is smiling and eager to help! All around best store in such a small town!

I haven't been in the store in 8 months because of unpleasant management and poorly stocked shelves. If I tried to go today would it be any better? Only one way to find out.

Cheaper than shop smart, which isn't hard to do. Staff consistently neglects stocking products so the aisles are always full of unboxed merchandise making it difficult to traverse the store. Sadly the staff are good people, they just never got taught the value of a job well done, self pride in accomplishments. An entire generation neglected and taught nothing about work ethic.

Manager has an attitude there'll always stacks of boxes and just hard to maneuver one checkout person two sometimes. I understand it's store policy because you don't trust your employee like I'm 67 years old should not be carded for buying a beer. But the other check out persons are very obliging and pleasant

So I was just a witness to a woman hitting her toddler in here and the MANAGER came up when people tried confronting her about hitting her child and literally said "those aren't even real tears my obgyn said I'm abusive too so now I'm looking for a new one" and not one employee would help that child or call the cops and when I went out to do so myself I called back in to the store to ask what the Manager's name was because I was going to call it onto corporate and they hung up on me so I called back and they told me I need to stop harassing consumers because "it's none of my business" it's everyone's business to protect children

this place was awesome! the layout was super convenient. the employees were very nice and helpful. The employees communicated with me and were very helpful with finding what I needed . They were making me laugh which made me feel right at home! I definitely will be shopping there again! I can't wait to go back!

Shelves are always empty and there's often carts blocking the shelves. Employees are not very pleasant either. At least not most of them in my experience.

They don't deserve this one star. The people that work here are terrible, especially the managment. They have been so rude multiple times. I should know better by now, but for some reason I kept giving them another chance. No more. I'll happily drive an hour each way to go to another store just so I don't have to subject myself to these miserable people who enjoy treating others poorly

Their prices are not much savings and in some cases price has been higher than several other retailers. They do not even have handicapped electric carts. They do not keep their isles clear, and the employees are often rude.

Every thing is always in the same spot. The employees are very helpful, and kind. The lines sometimes are long and only 1-2 checkers are working, the times I have gone in there. I use this store quite frequently, and never leave feeling disappointed. The costomers could be more polite though.

It's cool..... I love that it's around the corner cheap prices could use more workers seems like it takes forever to get in and out of, but I don't live here so I can't say it's always like that! But if your traveling thru and need less traffic stop in McFarland

Dollar General and the family dollar are great to shop. Back east they are everywhere sometimes on same block. Spoiler alert the same " family" operates both that is if correct. Even if not, you can find food clothing and a lot of other housewares(cleaning supplies) many items for gifts for those of us who have tight budgets dollar General is a good place to shop. The employees are nice and ask if you need help.

If there was a way to give 0 stars I would not hesitate. The store is in dire need of management. The employee turnover is like no other, the aisles themselves are a hazard and hard if not frustrating to maneuver thru and the cherry on top is the current manager. I find her to be unprofessional, argumentative, lazy and rude. Any body, who goes there often enough would surely agree with the statements I've just made.

Stopped to grab some Oregon wine to bring back to California. Great customer service. Most of the Oregon wines were sold out. But no worries they had great prices on the California wine. 🙂 The store is remarkably clean compared to California.

Poor D.G. in C.J. they are seemingly victims of their own success. I go there and many shelves are empty; go there a couple days later, the loaded stocker carts have the store so congested that some aisles are totally blocked. It is a given anytime I go that at least a few of the aisles, while maybe passable, will be lined with stocking carts blocking off an entire side of the aisle. All in all, a somewhat unpleasant experience. Come on. D.G., you can do better!

Store is a hot mess but the prices are better than shoo smart by a mile. Cereal here is about 4 bucks whereas it's 7 at shop smart. The parking lot is a hang out for crackhead also... So....

The only good thing about this place is the prices. Their selection is iffy and their shelves are almost never stocked.. The workers are nice but don't try to go the extra mile.. Or even the extra yard

I would like to stop at Dollar General, but when ever I have gone in to th Cavejunction, Oregon store you can not get down the isles to look at products. They are full of carts with new stock. 4 full isles of new stock that needs to get out on shelves. You can't get around them and you can't see products on shelves. You can't even push a shopping cart threw the isles. Hope the problem is solved soon.

This is the worst retail store ive ever been to. Terrible customer service, and unstocked shelves. Employees are never happy to see customers, and did I mention all of the inventory that just sits in the store day after day, without being put away. I have ran a lot of high volume retail stores, but have never experienced Anything like this. What a shame, since the store has been open only about a year!

OMG 😃👍I was at DG and did some had to do shopping, anyways I was picking up some tampons for a good friend (just so yall know this friend saved my life in more ways then I care to talk about to the public. We're just Friends) I couldn't remember how much food stamps that I had left, so that took a minute, then I went to pay for the tampons. Low and behold I couldn't find the ten dollars I have put away just for that. It wasn't there, I freaked out a bit and every thing came out of the pockets, I ran out to the car I checked everywhere. No I didn't find it. So went back into the store dumbfounded and upset. THIS IS THE BEST PART. And this is how YOU KNOW there ARE STILL GOOD LOVING PEOPLE in this WORLD😇. The Cashier payed out of her pocket,her money,and gladly give someone something they needed without Thought.And this I THINK YOU FOR SHOWING ME, PEOPLE STILL DO CARE.Your customer always Michael Crotts 😊👌

I've been in the store several times in the last couple of months. Each time I look for the same product. Hanes mens knee high socks. Not there. I'll try once more later this month,and if they dont have any hanging on the board where they belong, I will not give Dollar General any more of my $$$. Nuff said!

Never stocked up and prices hardly ever posted . Friendly staff and good prices when you can find them ,if your like me if it's not labeled it's not purchased. I'm very glad we have another store to choose from.
