The cashier is unfriendly and unhelpful. She makes it clear she hates her job, and you can’t ask her for anything. And heaven forbid if you need cash back. She will put effort into making sure you don’t get it. My partner has the same issue with her.

Wide selection of products. Reasonable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great customer service. They drop a star for the people that hang around outside and try to bum money from you before you're even out of your car.

Poor customer service!! Left my cell phone at this store checked my phones last location verifying it being there last and they don't even have the courtesy to look for me. Just very short with me repeatedly saying no phone was turned in, the polite thing would just simply go look for me at the location i last had it but looks like I will myself and I will be very disappointed if I do find it.

I really enjoy the people behind the counter. Always have a great sense of humor, even helpful outside of work. But they definitely enjoy the sound of laughter. Their job is hard, with only two cashier stations, but still they're good attitude makes it worth it. It really helps when they smile, it helps the customers smile.I do want to add something. I live next door. They don't lock their garbage, so I wind up with sketchy people in my yard looking through that garbage that could be locked. Not trying to sound mean or upset. But I would like to not have my dogs get upset or my wife because there are people pilfering through Dollar generals garbage next to my house. All they need is a lock. Still love the store and the people that work there, thank you.

If it was possible to give -10 ⭐ I absolutely would this is the worst establishment I have ever made the mistake of entering!!! We are staying at the nearby casino for a few nights for my husband's birthday and we went in to get a few things and look around after shopping around the store I processed to the register to pay, I placed all of my items on the counter and the cashier rang everything up and then he says "and the makeup?" I was confused and replied that I didn't have any makeup, he then rudely tells me "yes you do I seen you grab it." shocked by his accusations I told him that I only took down a couple sets of eyelashes looked at them seen how cheap and low quality they were and put them back. He then once again says "yes you do I seen you grab makeup" and at this point I am quite bothered by his false accusations and very rude speculation and tell him I just told you I didn't take anything and he then tells me "just because you say it doesn't mean it's true!" So I say "EXACTLY! Just because you say it doesn't mean that it's true! So feel free to check your cameras to circumstantiate what I am saying" I had over $60 in merchandise I was buying why would I steal some $2 eyelashes that were garbage? I then told him that I wasn't going to spend a single dollar at that store and succumb to that type of unwarranted behavior. He then says "well I am going to have to check your purse." I was beyond aggravated but I allowed him to because I knew he was wrong so I opened my purse and he proceeded to stick his hand in my purse and grab out some eyelashes that were not from there and he said "and what is this!" And I replied "lashes that are not even the same brand as anything here!" And he took a second look and said "oh I guess your right." And put them back and that was it, no sorry no consideration for the inconvenience or embarrassment he had caused NOTHING!!! I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE AGAIN AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT HE IS ALLOWED TO TREAT PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT THIEVES LIKE THAT WITH NO REPERCUSSIONS OR REMORSE FOR HIS ACTIONS.

This particular store has EVERYTHING and my experience with the employees was that they were ALL super helpful and extremely pleasant! Thank you for making my trip to your store so simple and painless! It's important for us out-of-towners that are in sure straights but on a mini-vaca at the casino! VERY much appreciated the simplicity yet consiceness of this store!

Well to start off if I could give it a no star review or less I definitely would. Ever since the remodel, every time I have gone in here or basically into any of the Dollar Generals, I have had to deal with rude employees, long lines because there is only one check out line and yes they have self checkout but you can’t use SNAP with them. It’s very irritating how I can’t go into any of them with out having an issue. Needless to say I will not be going back to Dollar General.

I go into this store All the time. All the people that works here are always busy and always working. Nobody stands around and does nothing. I believe it is all because of Katie the manager. What a jewel you got when you hired her. She is amazing always there to help you always going above and beyond. Always working. Always putting the customer first. Thanks Katie for all you do. Very unpleasant experience in this store, I would NOT reccomend anyone going to this dollar general. The store manager, Katie, was extremely rude,unpleasant and unprofessional. She made me feel very uncomfortable the second I walked in as she came up to me complaining about how i put something back on the already messy & cluttered shelf. She then proceeded to tell me and everyone in the store how she would be sitting in her office watching me on the cameras. Which was extremely humiliating as she made me feel as if she thought I would shoplift, which I have never done that in my entire life. All because I accidentally set an item back on the shelf in the wrong spot. The shelves were so messy and cluttered I wasnt even sure where the correct spot to put the item was even. This all happened within the first 5 minutes of being in the store. I love dollar generals and have been going to them since I was a kid but this experience has got me thinking twice about going into this store ever again and almost not wanting to go into any dollar generals if they are going to allow their employees act like this!

My daughter and I went around 8pm to exchange a pair of shorts that we bought for my daughter because we decided last min to stay in Canyonville I found somethings that I liked too so I decided to get them but seen a tag that said "40% off white and yellow apparel" walked up to the counter thinking cool I'm going to get 40% off of my items, long story short I didn't get the 40% off and the manager Jake was extremely rude and told me I could leave and that I was just a waste of his time, I will never go back to this dollar general again.

The employees are very helpful and patient with customers. I noticed they are either low on items or going thru their inventory fast. Because many times I haven't been able to get what I need there because they sold out or haven't restocked.

Always nice to have another option in a small town & a good one at that! Usually always stay longer & buy more than what I originally intended, but hey...ain't no shame in my game. Lines can sometimes take a bit if only one cashier, but nothing AT ALL compared to the Walmart lines with only one checker!

Well. I spent 31 dollars that's 31 items. And the check out lady was very friendly she even remembered me from a previous visit a time ago. I'm very satisfied with my shopping experienice and for feeling like I was more than just another customer. I'm happy

Prices were what you would expect out of a Dollar General but that is the messiest store I have ever seen! Boxes everywhere, merchandise is the aisles, cardboard containers along main aisle that people had to move just to get by to shop. I have never seen a store open to the public that was so cluttered with merchandise & empty boxes. Employees were busy but yelling at each other for help. The older gray haired woman acted like so was on drugs.

This Dollar General was an awesome place in Canyonville it's so nice and clean they had everything things I didn't even think they ever carried and I need it for my show they were there and had it the people and employees are so friendly and so happy to help you out it's great to know there's a store right down the road

Today I went to dollar General in canyonville to get milk. I was second in line that's fine except when it was my turn the clerk turned off her light and told the other clerk she was going back to work. My mouth dropped not only was it my turn there were several customers behind me. This isn't even the bad part every time I see this woman (maybe in her 50s curly grayish hair wears glasses) she is so high on something ( my suspicion is that it's meth) she is a disgrace to your fine store. Do you drug screen? If not you should. I won't be back

Not satisfied with the customer service that I received there were two people on shift and one stayed in the office as the other stood at register there was a long line and the other woman never came out to help. And to top it off they called me two days ago for an interview, I came on time waited for 15 min patiently when. Store cleared out I then let the cashier know that I was there for an interview mind you to kill the 15 minutes I was waiting I went through and put all the makeup that was not where it should have been where it went and organized. Well when the cashier went into the office to let the other female know I was here she didn't even bother to come out and say anything to me. She told the cashier to tell me that she was no longer interested, and she never even met me or spoke with me. Didn't even come out to say sorry for not calling and letting you know that they no longer needed someone for the position. Just a I'm not interested and it didn't even come from her. So then I stood in line again for another 10 min to purchase a couple of items and low and behold was not delt with so I set the stuff I had down on the counter and walked out. To be honest I found that they are very rude. Complete waste of my time and my gas. But I have a job at UPS and I was hired at the Dollar general in tri-city. So it has nothing to do with past history also I have not even been charged with any crimes. They hadn't even started a background check yet cause this was the fist interview. So I don't know ow why the sudden change of heart on interviewing me but I feel that she could have still met with me regardless if I was being hired or not instead of rudly tell me she is no longer interested in me. Grrrr I would give less stars if it we're an option. Also the store was a mess nothing was organized or cleaned. This was my experience today at the Dollar general in canyonville . I will not be coming back to this store I will continue to use myrtle Creek tri city Dollar general. I wish I knew who was the head honcho out here because I would certainly be making a call.

I'm somewhat physically challenged have to have someone shop for me. I find the quality of the stuff excellent. Your same brand duct tape excetera is better than Walmart for less money. Often finds I have to return things no problem.

Second time this month that the cashier didn’t give me all my bags.. most of bags she HANDED to me, and one bag left on the turning thing..I walked out not knowing...if it wasn’t for the fact I live so far out, I would just run back to the store..it would cost more money in gas than for my sunflower seeds.. which, btw, was the only thing missing.. so it makes you wonder if it was intuitional... this has happened to me more than once😠

Some Dollar General stores are kind of Messi has floppy. This one was well organized and clean. And, I was able to find very quickly what I was looking for, a 10 ft tape measure for just $1.

Convenient, decent prices for items you can't buy anywhere else in the area. Employees are friendly but always busy restocking or trying to rearrange the shelves (that are always destroyed no matter how much they try lol).

I went to Dollar general to use the Western Union. However, Dollar general has an app for it's Western Union and let me tell you exactly how fun it is waiting for an app to install in the mountains. They should just say they have a Western Union for established clients. Needless to say, because of the signal, I was unable to use their services even though they said they were available.
