I called Countryside Veterinary Clinic for my cat that I believed was having a Urinary Tract Infection related problem. They answered the phone and I described his symptoms. They put me on hold and after 10 mins came back on the phone and said it would cost around $1300.00 to care for my cat if he had a Urinary Tract Infection problem. I was shocked. The level of concern for my cat was 0. I would have expected a Animals care clinic to at least say, "We can see your cat today or not at this time and we can evaluate his symptoms at this time." Stating a office visit amount wouldn't of even been bad, but to throw out a $1300.00 price and not show any concern for my pet is so unprofessional and beyond reproach. I called their other Veterinary clinic in Myrtle Creek and you get a voice mail stating to leave a message or text. I sent a text and got a call back stating they were booked up until August. I have 5 cats still and I know once they go home to Heaven I will not have any other pets due to terrible Veterinary Services here in Douglas County. My wisdom is this, find a family vet with a seasoned vet of 20+ years or more and stay away from the Corporate Vet Clinics. Even if it means driving out of county.

I've been taking my six dogs to Countryside for a while now, including surgery to repair one of my puppy's broken leg. When we first went there, we could get in within a couple of days. Now, it's about two months because of the shortage of veterinary care in the area. You can still get in within a few days for emergency care with an upcharge of about $40 additional. They have been wonderful in every way, and I would be giving 5 stars if it weren't for a very rude and disrespectful communication from one of their employees.

I love these ladies. And guys. The day after I found my cat. I made an emergency appointment the following day. And wisdom came out after his eye was not healing. And needed surgery and shots, and everything and $800 later. Wisdom was a walking living, breathing soul in my life. My child. My only one. I will get some pictures up here. Real soon of him and his recovery, And the fact that he rules my TikTok..

I am so grateful for Dr. Tammy and her compassionate staff at Countryside Veterinary Services. In finding out that my Kitty has a type of cancer Dr. Tammy brought me through it just in the time she took with me explaining it! She takes all the time Kitty Nana needs at every visit. Their receptionist who is not a vet and does not know a thing about our dog's situation told me to euthanize our dogThe vet was nice when we came in before, but they are never open and you would think they would put more important surgeries first. This vet office can charge a high price, but can't even be open 5 days a week? That's ridiculous.

Our dog just died because this vet office is never open and negligent. He needed surgery to prevent infections, they told us how important it was, then scheduled it 2 months out and refused to see him when we needed them to They will however, take your money and never do anything for you.

I seen veterinarian doctor Tammy I had brought in my parrot and she had some beak grinding and grooming very helpful inspected my pet and made sure that he was healthy and gave me instructions to what needed to make sure you stayed that way.I have been coming to countryside veterinary clinic for years now. I recommend them highly very caring and one of the best aviary veterinarians that I have run across in 50 years. I have had my bird that long.

My little rooster was on his last day - couldn't breath, purple comb and waddle, was suffocating in front of me. I tried several days of home treatment, but it wasn't helping. Was able to get him in to see Dr. Tammy. Next day, he was a whole new chicken - had a new lease on life. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Tammy and Countryside. Thank you!

Staff was excellent, kind, and courteous. They took care of my fur ball as if it were their own. Very gentle with her, the calmest I have ever seen her at a vet. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic if in the area.

Highly recommend. Staff and doctors are very caring. My kitty was very sick and they worked with me over time to diagnose and now treat for heart condition... I truly believe if not gone here, my kitty would have passed... she was that close to having to put down at only 3 yrs old. They keep up to date on technology and education. Again, very caring, friendly, not the cheapest, but worth it.

Super disappointed in my FIRST visit here with an unfriendly receptionist. We just moved here and was hoping for some local and great vet service. I made this appointment a week ago, and was thankful we could get in. When I arrived there, a little bit early (needed to give them transfer paperwork) I was kindly greeted by a younger female receptionist. I went back out to my car to grab something and an older receptionist now was helping me (after making me wait through multiple phone calls and personal conversation). She was rude and short tempered with me, all because there was no information given to me. She ignored my requests multiple times. Unfortunately, I did not receive a proper apology from this member and rather had her supervisor call me upon request. The supervisor had the conversation on speaker phone, and then cut me off while I was speaking. He did not welcome us back nor ask us if we still wanted to receive care but yet said “sorry” about the situation. What happened to customer service these days? Super disappointed. I hope this doctor realizes who is running his office, seems like multiple members of our community have had issues with these people.

New to the area, and needed to establish with a local vet. We are in the Roseburg area, but we couldn’t find a vet in town that was accepting new patients. This facility was, and was able to get us in within a few weeks for an afternoon appointment for both animals. We have a senior dog and a kitten. We adopted the cat from a local animal shelter, which this vet partners with for a free exam. Our dog got a vaccine and thorough exam and our total was very reasonable, about $85. They also take care credit. Very kind staff, happy to be a patient here.

6 months ago when I brought my dog in we were treated very professionally and we were very pleased, which is why I am leaving an extra star. This visit, due to a miscommunication, we were treated rudely and condescendingly. We were told the office was busy but if we showed up at 8 AM, the vet might see if they could get us in. When we arrived, the 2 reception ladies pretty much called us liars. Talk about unprofessional.

Our visit to Countryside was amazing! The people were so friendly and the vet answered all of my questions! He spent at least 30 min talking to us. We will definitely continue to use them as our vet!

I wanted to let the world know how much I appreciate the clinic. My dog who is loved very much by us needed emergency surgery and could not find any veterinary to help or even take on new clients. I thought I was going to have to watch my dog die. Thank goodness I called them They went above and beyond to help us. They even cut her toe nails thank you countryside vet from the bottom of our hearts we appreciate you!!!

Got us in last minute and said they'd squeeze our Poopsie in between appointments. She came out in just a couple of hours and once home in much better spirits then before she went in. Hasn't been pestering the stitches like she was before. Don't know what magic they used...but it made Poopsie a much happier dog.

I've taken my dogs to both the Myrtle Creek and Canyonville clinics and have been happy each time. The staff and doctors are friendly and knowledgeable, and don't try to rush you out the door.

Overpriced and they go way overboard on unnecessary testing and treatment. I just needed rabies vaccine updated. It was 90 dollars. They tried to talk me into all sorts of prevention treatments and a heartworm test. My dog is perfectly healthy. It would've been $400.. They were fully aware I have 4 kids and a baby that was due in 10 days.

We have been so thankful to discover Countryside after our normal vet disappointed us for the last time. They have communicated well and took the time to discuss the difficult situation we are facing with the utmost compassion.Well worth the drive to get away from all the disappointing or overworked vets in Roseburg.

This place is okay. I have been going here since the owner worked from her home. The owner/vet is a very good, nice dr. her alone I give 5 stars.The staff are just awful though. They always treat me like im wasting their time and give me attitude while talking to me as if they think they know i can't afford it. Until they pull my account and see the very long list of animals and money I've dumped no into here throughout the years and their attitude instantly 180s. its like a "Pretty Woman" movie scenario when shes shopping and the workers assume she cant afford their clothing and kick her out. Like im sorry my appearance doesn't meet your idea of your standard "rich client" doesn't mean i don't have money or that im not willing to drop thousands of dollars on my furry family member'e healthHonestly every interaction i have there makes me not want to do business there even more. Even after 15+ years. From them laughing in my face for walking in to inquire about neutering cat theyve never seen- like i couldn't afford it. To spending 700 dollars on a visit and them refusing to give me an E-collar without running a whole separate bill for that, trying to add another 60 dollar "office call" charge even though it was during the same visitAgain, Tammy Eichmann: 5 stars, the staff: 0 stars..
