TLDR if you want good quality and value for your money go eat at the Pine Room. The food is expensive and small portions at Bella Java.I am super disappointed with my last experience at Bella Java. After a nice overnight visit to the Hot springs we were stoked to grab a breakfast burrito and coffee and be on our way.As soon as I saw the breakfast burrito I was shocked by how small it was. Smaller than my hand. Probably used a single egg in there. Very little ingredients used other than the wrap. Picture included for reference.The last time I visited Bella Java I remembered how good the food was and it felt like good value. Not any longer. This is more expensive than airport food!The service staff said that they are making them smaller now because of “costs”. Yet for $13 I can go across the street to the Pine Room and get a chicken wrap that is huge and delicious with home made ranch dressing and fries.At most this is a $8 burrito. Buyer beware.Long story short: Spent $40 for two burritos and two coffees and we were left hungry afterwards.Would love to come back and patronize after this issue is addressed.

Halfway to Boise from Bend lunch in Burns at Bella Java. The place was so clean and open. Right away, we knew we had to order the burger special. This is a classic diner and we could smell the delicious aroma of grilled burgers when we walked in. They also had gorgeous homemade baked goods at the counter so of course, we ordered a decadent chocolate cake to take with us. So we both ordered the burger special and scarfed them down, delicious!! We scored today on our first trip through Burns by finding this place. Delicious food at a reasonable price point with super friendly family-style service. Stop and support local. These folks are great!!

Great place to stop for a quick bite if you are going through Burns, OR. They were able to easily accommodate our Vegan and Vegetarian preferences. The staff are super friendly. Only had a salad, but the drink menu looked amazing! (They offer Almond Milk as well as a substitute.)

On our way home from Oklahoma and passing through Burns my wife spotted this place. I'm not much for Bistro's ... usually just (in my opinion) over-priced food and coffee that tastes burned ... but this place she forced me to stop at ( she needed a break from riding) was quite the opposite. Though I just had water to drink I did have a chicken salad that was absolutely delicious ... and the price made it even better. I'd highly suggest you give this place a try ... even if you don't do burned coffee.

Awful experience. Both pastries we bought were rock hard and stale, tasted very old. The chai was lukewarm and just...weird. $15 bucks and she didn't even care when I told her about the gross "pastries."

Cute atmosphere. Friendly waitress but got our orders wrong and had to be asked for ketchup and cutlery. Horrible food. Can you get a taco salad wrong? Yes you can, by using some sort of greens that were.bitter and tougher than kale. The fish and chips special tasted like grease. When I removed the breading the fish had obviously been frozen and tasted horrible in its own. The taste of grease was better.

Cute shop. Waitress was great. Food was terrible. I hate to leave bad reviews, but we were so disappointed. There were two of us. One ordered the beef wrap without sandwich sauce, the other ordered blue cheese beef wrap. We were both disappointed. The blue cheese one was so over sauced you could only taste the mayonnaise based dressing. The rest of it was precut, wilted,, soggy salad mix and basic deli roast beef with preshredded cheese that didn't even start to melt while the wrap was grilled.

We had lunch there today (10/13/22) We had a Grilled Roastbeef Sandwich that was the best I’ve ever had, more than enough food for 2 people. The staff is great, the environment is clean, the espresso is good as well. This will definitely a place we stop at on our way through!Vegetarian options: They have a sign stating vegatarion options.Dietary restrictions: They have a sign that says they will accommodate dietary needs.Parking: Parking in front and on the side of the building.Kid-friendliness: It is a family friendly environment.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs or steps to get in the front door, they have tables to accommodate a wheel chair, @ wide doors to the restrooms.

Yesterday a Round 8:30 am I entered to take a coffee , I found a younger girl , I ask her a coffee and croissant, she said we don’t have , I told her I will come back , Safeway was close by , after 10 min coming back I found a door close and still a sign open , I knocked a door the girl coming playing on her phone to the door and turn a sign to close , she explained why , she tall us before we close soon and was 10:45Never coming back to this store

We stopped in for a quick sandwich and drink. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff very friendly and welcoming. We had the Chicken Chipotle Wrap which was very tasty. We definitely will make this a usual stop when traveling thru.

Ehh, considering the only other place in town for a coffee and egg sandwich is McDonald's, it's definitely better. But the breakfast sandwiches... not all that great. $10 for a from the freezer bagel, not even toasted with meat, egg, and cheese... Solid ehh. Add cream cheese and tomatoes... Questionable but still ehh. The staff were great, the atmosphere was great, coffee was acceptable. Can only dress up a frozen plain bagel so much. Will go in again for sure, but maybe get the burrito instead.

I've been here three times over the past 4 years travelling through. Honestly, the quality of the espresso drinks and food has noticeably declined. All is still OK, but our first meals were interesting & unique while our first espresso drinks were skillfully prepared - bringing out the nuances of freshly ground beans via perfect extractions & wonderfully foamed milk for cappucinos. Our last visit didn't approach those early experiences. We'd like to come back - everyone is friendly, the decor & building are intriguing, but unless the food & espresso returns to that earlier glory I'm not sure we will.

Delicious breakfast sandwich; my sister got the chipotle wrap and said the same. Also an excellent espresso! They'll rush you out the door if you're wearing a mask, but at least they're not rude about it.

She did an amazing job at attending to every customer making coffee and cooking she really killed it this morning thank you dear I wish I would’ve gotten your name so I could include it in this post!
