I keep telling myself and believe it to be true, if I keep shopping at Reptile 🦎 Zone, one day my house will be as beautiful, amazing and interesting as the Reptile 🦎 zone 🤩.They only sell what actually works and what the animals actually need unlike the big name stores that are trying to sell gimmicks and “snake oils” (no pun intended, well maybe 😂) that don’t work by unknowledgeable staff. Whereas at Reptile 🦎 Zone they actually know what they’re talking about specifically with each individual critter and the owner is like an encyclopedia britanica and even knows the Latin names for these amazing animals!!Also Jeff is very friendly and will always make time to talk with a customer especially about the care of these animals and he’ll even special order anything you need and unlike most small stores that up charge on everything, his equipment is extremely fairly priced and I know cause I’m a pennypincher and have checked 💰 🦎🦖🐍🐢🐸🐊🦂🐲

I am giving a 2 star only because of the friendliness of the Manager. I saw a review left 2 days ago regarding the " great selection of animals for sale". I saw very few while there 4 days ago. The place smelled horrible compared to all the other reptile stores I have been in through the years, there was shed in a lot of the enclosures, which makes me think they haven't been cleaned much. I personally clean my enclosures daily, and do a monthly deep clean. Absolutely wonderful display of personal pets, but not much else.

We recently visited the reptile zone with the MOMS Club of Bend as our monthly field trip and it was so fun! So many hands on opportunities! 🐍🐢🦎🐊 The staff was great! Will definitely be back!

We were told that this is the definitive place for all-things reptilian in the greater Bend area and after visiting, we weren’t disappointed! Amazing assortment of snakes, lizards, etc and the owner, Jeff is extremely knowledgeable on reptiles. Our kids (both reptile lovers) had a blast here and couldn’t stop talking about this place and it was definitely a highlight of our trip to Bend. Highly recommended!

This place has so many exotic, fascinating reptiles! The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have all the supplies anyone could need for a reptile. Their prices are pretty reasonable. They also have great advice and are very knowledgeable. They sometimes know more than my vet!

Jeff is an always friendly and knowledgeable member of the reptile community. He runs this place like a petting zoo and has some rare venomous animals on display as well. Don't go to Petco or Petsmart. They have everything you need, at a much higher quality here. The staff is friendly, and all have their own unique and valuable knowledge.

It is an intimate space filled with reptiles of all types, and wall to wall. I had little intention of actually purchasing anything from the store, but how the employees accommodate your interests and the over all preparedness of habitats and equipment could cause you to leave with a cold blooded pet before you leave the store. there is a nice diversity of animals, (no mammals) and the only reason I am not giving a 5 star review here is because I am a bit bothered by tighter spaces and high density of reptiles and amphibians. the overall ambiance is very nice however when it is not busy.Very relaxing environment over all and the workers now plenty about species that are native and regional, I felt like I learned something and I would most definitely go back in the future.If your children are not squeamish or enjoy looking at animals behind glass containers, it can be a fun day excursion whether or not you end up taking a pet home. It kind of felt like the reptile/amphibian part of a zoo, or a smaller part two to seeing the high desert museum.

Jeff's Reptile Zone to this day, is still the best business in Bend! He always takes his time with everyone making sure they are well educated and his range of reptiles on display is the best! I buy crickets/worms from him and they are the best quality and price in town. Jeff brought reptiles to a birthday party of my daughters, hands down the coolest party ever!

They will help you with all your reptile needs. Their open Tuesday to Sunday 10 to 6 . They are busy from opening to closing. The best time for less people would be on Sunday morning before 12. And remember they are closed on monday. I know many people that have purchased snakes geckos, and lizards and food for all of them from the reptile zone.

What a great little store! We were visiting from California and my son and I are going to get a snake soon (he is 4 almost 5 and dying to get one) so we went to check the place out…. Walk in to a full on 12 foot long python on the floor just hanging out looking gorgeous. Talked to the owner and told him we are planning to get a ball python and asked if he had any my son could look at and he pulled a baby ball python out and just let my son hold it as long as he wanted!! HIGHLY recommend this place the owner is the nicest guy and is EXTREMELY knowledgeable

The ONLY place you should go in Central Oregon if you want advice on reptiles or want a scaly buddy of your own. They give great advice and care for a wide variety of reptiles in their shop. If nothing else, be sure to stop by and say hello to Shelly, their large land tortoise and unofficial mascot.

I go to visit on occasion with children that I look after. The staff is always so friendly, very knowledgeable and let the children hold and or touch a few of the reptiles. It makes for a fun experience with the kiddos and for myself. There is no doubt in my mind that the reptiles are in a safe and very caring environment and a wonderful place to learn about them! If I ever get around to actually having one as a pet I would definitely come to the Reptile Zone!

This store has been declining and seems to provide awful care for their animals which used to be well cared for. Several snakes including the large burmese python appear to have respitory infections. Besrded dragon has clogged nostrils. Rattlesnakes were glass surfing so hard they were getting abrasions on their nose. They had a baby argentine tegu on paper towels in a really pathetic tank with low humidity. Tegus absolutely need deep substrate but since they keep theirs on paper towels it hides under the towels relentlessly scratching at glass . All waterbowls look disgusting. They had a huge adult blue tongue in a 30 gallon filled with logs and the poor animal couldnt move because of how small and crowded its tank was. Worst part is that this is a pet of the store not for sale. Their cayman is in a similarly small enclosure. For a store that tries to act like experts im surprised how downhill their store has gone. Ive even heard other stores had to take out a restraining order against jeff because he was harrassing employees for selling a baby bearded dragon to someone with a 20 gallon. Jeff later sold them another bearded dragon so now that customer has multiple beardies fighting in said 20 gallon.Overall this store has just become pathetic i hope the owner sees this and realizes what his store and reputation are becoming.

A amazing place to learn! Ask Jeff questions he knows most the answers. Make sure you don't buy young children reptiles beyond there skill level of pet husbandry. There are unique challenges for each animal just make sure Jeff thinks it's appropriate for your child or yourself you will be grateful in the end. Thanks Jeff for helping our community give snakes and reptiles there best life!
