Salty Paws is terrific! My dog has separation anxiety and is noisy when stressed. They took it all in stride! Now my boy is a regular and although still high anxiety, he gets better each time! They do a great job. So friendly and professional. And Axel always looks amazing. Thank you!

Lee is the absolute best she is so sweet and caring and patient did an amazing good job on my baby girl. Pictures don't do just on how cute and happier my baby is. She has the cutest zoomies and so much happier with her hair cut and nail trim. Thank you Lee.

My 130lb Great Pyrenees was turning 2 and really needed professional grooming. I've been trying to brush her but she hates it! I just think about cleaning her ears and she runs from me! It's the spring "blow the coat" season with so much hair in her "pants"! No mats yet but starting to look like dreadlocks!! I did manage to cut a couple pretty big mats behind her ears but that left little chunks close to her skin. Made an appt at Salty Paws and dropped her off in that morning. We discussed what I wanted, trim up a little, just to even out the pants, sanitary trim. I love the hairy grinchy feet and her weird long hairs on her ears, so leave those. Did agree to the recommendation to trim the feet a bit, so she's not stepping on the hairs or picking up sticks and leaves so much. Said I would like the ears cleaned and nails trimmed but not sure if she'll let you. She doesn't bite, or growl, or even show teeth, she just will wrestle and keep moving to avoid you. Probably talked too much, as a nervous first time mother, but lady (owner? I'm terrible remembering names!) was very patient with me and listened to everything I was babbling. Shopped in Coos Bay while waiting, thought it would be all day. Called 3 hours later, Daisy was ready! OMG, she was so clean, and soft, and fluffy, and happy! Pants looked great! Even got the nubs of the ear mats out. AND she cleaned the ears!! AND trimmed all the nails! Daisy was beautiful! She let me know one ear was irritated, but no mites or infections. Told her she's been licking her feet, said feet and one ear, usually means a food allergy. Only negative is I'm missing the hairy grinchy feet, but if it's better for Daisy, then I'll manage! She did still have her wispy ear hairs! Very pleased. $80 for 130lb dog, wash, dry, brush, blow out, trim, ears, and nails. Deal! Tipped $20. I know how hard it is to groom a big hairy double coat dog! When I picked Daisy up, they also had a long haired Akita being groomed and a standard poodle and a doberman waiting to come in. Definitely will come back, maybe every 3-4 months. Nice location, on the river, right next to the boardwalk! Lots of parking, easy to get to. This will be our place!

Great self wash stations for dogs! They give you an apron and provide shampoos, conditioner and fur sprays as well as a brushing (brushes provided) and blow drying station. Our dog’s fur is so soft and shiny after her bath here! Great and helpful service and reasonably priced! I think you can have your dog groomed here too but have not tried that out yet.

A really great place to self wash your dog, beautiful stainless raised tubs which are comfortable for the owner and the dogs. Wonderful warm water and the shampoo is fed through the water lines so come with your dog only. There's nice blow dryers that are raised too so you can get in and out with a clean dry dog! However, the hours posted are as the owner decides which is very, very frustrating for anyone on a schedule. So you need to call before heading over. The second issue is when you check out and use a debit card etc. a tip will almost be expected. This is a self wash dog grooming facility and the owner does all the work except wiping the tubs and washing towels of course, but that's why it's almost $20.00 for a large dog. As to the grooming side which I understand is separate we've only heard good things and the groomer is very nice. Basically a business that posts certain hours cannot decide when and what time they close. This has been an issue multiple times at this business. Please adjust the hours advertised for people who just want to wash their own dog.
