We traveled to Bend, OR to pick up our puppy we were adopting from a California rescue group. We were he was going to need a bath upon pickup as he was pretty fragrant. Our plan was to take him to a “you wash” but they were unexpectedly not open. We ended up at Petco and the groomer was amazing!!! We explained our puppy was just being rescued and was completely scared, but really needed to be cleaned up before his ride home. She was wonderful with him. Made time in her busy schedule to squeeze him in. She was patient and so sweet with him. Just what he needed. Thank you so much! Please recognize this employee for being outstanding.

The appointment was easy to make. Abigail and the young man were warm and friendly. I also like that the door to the salon is outside. My girl gets overly excited in the main store.

Michael did a very good wash and brush on my American Eskimo. He was very friendly and gave me a suggestion on giving my dog CBD because her back legs are so sore and stiff- she's 11.

Daniel was awesome! I have the most outstanding groomer in Corvallis and I have never taken Lucky to anyone who has even come close to her level of amazing...until Daniel. I am also freaked out about leaving my sweetheart with strangers - Daniel was kind, loving, gentle (all of the things that put me at ease). Aside from being super accommodating with my time requests, he did an amazing job. The only two things that I would request (and I didn't request this, so that's on me): shave his paws/digits more thoroughly and remove the excess hair from his ears. Otherwise, perfection. Thank you, Daniel!!!

My dog is huge and has a lot of fur and it took tons of patience and time to give him the care he needed. Tiffany did an amazing job making my big boy comfortable and she exceeded my expectations when it came to the grooming. He was perfect. I am so thankful!Throwing an edit on this review! I had Daniel this time and he really did an amazing job getting oatis to drop most of his undercoat. He is so happy. Really awesome staff here. They put in a real effort.

I have been searching for an excellent and caring grooming salon for a long time. I have tried many local grooming places in Bend. I was very fortunate to be referred to Petco after looking at the reviews on google. Even more lucky I found Amanda who does such an amazing job and cares so highly for my dog. Thank you so much for the upmost customer service. 5 stars is too few!

Tiffany did such a great job trimming up our little Potus! He looks great! I have used multiple groomers in town and no one has been able to get his head to look right. We will be back again soon!

Daniel listened to me and my requests about how Duke needed to be cut in certain areas and I could tell he also cared about my dog. Just a cute note. After paying for the grooming, when I came back to get Duke, there he and Daniel were, sitting together. Daniel was petting Duke. I just think that a little more personal care is very appreciated. I've gone to groomers where Duke is tied to a short leash waiting for me. Thank you Daniel for your care.

Daniel is the greatest groomer. He is gentle with our dog and gives a great haircut. He also takes the time to make sure paws and other areas are free of cheat grass. We are very very happy with his services. Thank you Daniel!

Jamie was great. Due to a no show, we got lucky and she was able to take Mabel in right then. She did a quick exam of Mable and asked questions about her health. The grooming was very good, Mabel was soft and silky, nails trimmed, etc.

I really like the great job the Groomers at petco did on my dog. He came back smelling good and his coat looked wonderful and so soft to pet. The groomer did a great job on getting his nails trimmed.

When I booked online the cost of a bath was listed as $26 but when I picked up my dog it was billed at $40 with the reason being long hair. My dog is a Basset. Long haired dogs are yellow labs, Irish setters, Bernese mountain dogs etc., not Bassets. I should have been told this up front. My dog's front nails were not trimmed because he growled at them and was not muzzled because it is against company policy.

Brought both of my small poodles in for the first time and Daniel did a great job on both of them ! I was particularly nervous about one of my dogs being that it was his first time being to a groomer and Daniel took the time to walk me through the process and made me feel comfortable leaving my pups with him. 10/10 will definetely be bringing my dogs back in the future.

the groomer that did Duchess did a great job. we won't . to get the comb out for Duchess for awhile now. we had combed a ton of shed hair for a couple of days and she was still full of dead hair. she isn't now; that is how good of a job he did. I can't believe that I almost forgot this: I am 77, disabled and no longer able to lift Duchess in and out of the car so the groomer did the heavy lifting

I had to wait 20 minutes for a groomer to check at the desk for client pick up. I recommend you have a buzzer to let someone know that people are at the front desk. I was one of three people waiting to be serviced. Other than this issue, I like my experiences at Petco.

While they wouldn't take my dog because he has anxiety and on meds (I wasn't aware of such a policy but whatever), the groomer showed up late, was unpleasant to talk to and the place was run down and dirty.
