Good boys are treated like royalty here. Incredibly kind staff that clearly are in the right job. Really appreciated all the extra attention they paid the Quin pup when his walk was cut short due to ice. Also cute birthday accessories that were tempting. Nothing like a little hat on a dog.

We get our specialized dog food here and love the option for treats. They have an amazing selection of everything from dog food to supplements to beds. Our pups always get treats when we visit as well and the staff is very friendly. It is pricier than your average pet store but we feel it is worth it for the selection and quality of goods.

I moved to Bend from Seattle and was relieved when I found out there was a Mud Bay location here! This location does not disappoint. They have friendly, knowledgeable staff that are always ready to help or offer recommendations and a solid inventory of options for dogs and cats, including options for other small animals. If they don’t have what you’re looking for in stock, they’ll order it! I can’t recommend enough.

The Good- The people here are always sweet and helpful. Also, they have tons of informative in-store displays (see photos) to help you select food and toy options. If you are serious about quality products and an amazing return policy, this is your pet store.The Bad- It's spendy but comparison to competitors.The Tip- The litter bar.(see photo) is an option you may not think of - but if ambience is important to you, smell is too. This bar allows you to select based on various product types to match you cats' needs and combat specific smells.

Greeted by caring staff who didn't rush me (I loved that). Great selection. Even though they didn't sell what I was looking for, we left with a yummy bag of treats for my 15 year old Sheltie and a bonus puppy Gelato and two freezer dried samples for her birthday. Goggle family you did not let me down. I google'd "the best pet store in Bend Oregon" and this popped up. The staff welcomed us with open arms. Gave the dogs sample treats and they loved it. They had everything we needed. This is why they get a Tony SF five stars.

Staff was very nice and helpful, they went above and beyond. It was my dogs birthday and they even offered a birthday ice cream cup and a sample treat. The store has good variety of high quality treats/toys/bones, etc. Great place.

The best place to shop for my 2 dogs. The staff is seriously top notch! They really love animals here! Plus they stock all of the high end pet goods. We always get our Acana Single Source dog food as well as pickup some frozen raw bones and wellness supplements! Plus, you almost always leave with free samples!!! Who doesn't like free samples?!? I know my dogs do!!

The Mud Bay staff are consistently helpful, welcoming, and never make you feel rushed when asking questions. They even go above and beyond to remember my girl's name (Charlie, doberman) and dietary restrictions, then give her extra pets when they don't have the treats in stock that she can eat. Great crew overall, especially Charlie and Charlie's friend/co-worker with shoulder length hair (I'm ashamed I can't remember her name), but you can't go wrong shopping here!

Never caught the older gals name but she was the most helpful person I have ever met in any retail store before. Helped me figure out diet information for my kitty and hooked me up with plenty of goodies to keep her happy and healthy. I will only be coming here for pet related shopping

I love the Mud Bay franchise.. but I have to say this location takes the cake. It has such a nice selection of items, and Nancy truly made my shopping trip top notch. She helped me find a new food for my picky dog by giving some free samples of the things she recommended. My dog loved the food so much I went in the next day and bought full size bags of all the sample food. Thank you to Nancy and the rest of the staff here, my dog is so much happier with her food!

Exemplary staff all the way around, Big thanks to the ladies Maree, Charlie and forgive me for not remembering the third ladies name who helped me last night. Amazing job and because of their efforts they've made me a new and returning customer who will also let my friends know that as far as I can tell, Mud Bay definitely puts the animals first above all and I am grateful. My favorite place to shop for my dog!! Everything is good quality and you can't go wrong with whatever you get. Prices are very reasonable too. I love the bulk treats and free samples!! I also love the variety of everything they have. Also if your pet doesn't love the food you get, you can always return and they'll donate to a rescue.

Great selection for all your household pets. We don't have one close to home, so it's always great stopping in with our puppy to grab treats and things for him on our puppy-vacation to Bend. One negative is that MudBay is not in Spokane😁

Love this store for many reasons. 🐶😸First, the quality of food, treats and toys is top notch. Second, there's well trained and knowledgeable staff who are genuine animal lovers, not your average service rep. The staff will take the time to listen, inform and advise on all things kitty and doggo. They'll help you find the best food for your pet's needs and big bonus is they even give generous samples for taste testing. Don't be fooled by their polished storefront, I've found their prices are very competitive and I believe they even price match! Oregon local company worthy of our support. 🐾

The staff is so friendly! The mud bay brand toys are my dogs favorite. She normally destroys a toy right away and then looses interest but for some reason she will play with these toys for months and not get sick of them. I have no idea why but it’s saving me a lot of money lol.
