Bend Pet Express has a customer for life! In addition to having great, healthy, and local selections and customer service, they also offer something I’ve never experienced before! We recently added two new fluffy additions to our family, and when they found out they asked if we’d gotten our care package yet. We found out they offer a free care package when you get a new pet, with a wide variety of options to choose from…saving us $85 for each pet! This is an amazing thing for a local place to do, and we will be coming back forever! (Pictured is what we got for FREE for both of our new furry friends)

For years I went to pet express on Highway 20. you know buy 10 bags you get one free all of your regular customers know this. our lab Drake passed away, so I didn’t go for a while finally, after about a year, my wife talked me into getting another dog, every day I wanted to stop and get my dog some toys and a snack got out of the truck, put him on the leash, proceeded to walk in, and I just changed my mind after I looked down at Shadow said to myself no this brings us back to the point as to why I will never ever be a customer there again when Shadow was 10 weeks old and put him on the leash and brought him in. He’s walking around. You know how curious pups are. There was a guy that worked there. He was standing next to us putting some things away and of course, you know how puppies are 10 weeks old. He runs over and starts kind of jumping on his leg, and he pushed him away so Shadow thinks he’s playing. He went back at him and he shoved him away. all I could think was someone that works in a pet store that don’t understand a 10 week old puppy should not be working there and I didn’t buy anything that day that was 2 1/2 years ago. that was my reason for turning away when I was at you guys front door

This is one of my favorite pet stores. They have great leashes and collars that are made locally and a lot of safe pet products. The staff are always so nice and friendly. I always make a point to stop here whenever I am in Bend. Definitely check them out and support local.

I walked into Bend Pet Express on sunday and I informed them i was about to pick up a new family member from CCREW dog rescue and they offered me a Welcome Home Adoption Bundle! 😳. I was so amazed that they made me a wonderful complimentary package of food and treats and training tools. I saved so much money, as I had so much more I needed to purchase in order to bring my newest family member home. I am so thankful I stopped in there.They have always been a reliable place to find healthy, safe dog food, treats and supplies. Thank you so much! And thank you for supporting shelters. 💓🐕🎁

my go to pet food spot! healthy options, and they stock raw. the staff is friendly (ALLL of them) the wait at the registers is never long, it's clean, and they have dog treats at the door. bonus - the signs out front are always humorous

Solid dog and pet kinda store. I've been getting my dogs' food here for years. They have good toys, treats, leashes, harnesses, etc. etc. Would recommend.

Lexi and Eli were amazing to us today! I cannot say enough about their friendliness and helpfulness! We just adopted a husky this morning, and went in to pick up some things for him. They helped set us up for success. Lexi spent time walking us around the store and picking out the best items for our new boy. It is such a good feeling when you come into a store and immediately feel so welcome and cared about, and they both made us feel that way. Thank you for your help and care for our new family member! We will be making this our go to pet store from now on!

Friendly service and they stock local products. We got a Spindrift leash (designed and manufactured in Bend!!!) at a good price. Came back the next day for a bag dispenser. The people who were working there were able to talk intelligently about the products. Dog treats by the entrance for your pooch. New favorite pet store in Bend

I was in the west side store about 1:10 in the afternoon to get my free 24 oz beef Lotus, since I had recently purchased my 12th one, and was told by the blonde checker that I had to pay a dollar. I told her that it was supposed to be free, and she replied that if I had bought one of the less expensive flavors then it would have been free. I told her I have been buying the 24 oz beef flavor for quite some time, and after my 12th purchase I have always gotten the next one free. She told me that's how Lotus does it now, so my question is when did that start? Really disappointed in her attitude about it, as well.

Never been in before and ask at the counter where the cat food is and was told “where all the cat food is” with just a finger point in the direction. Interesting customer service approach… never going back lolEdit: the snarky reply was unnecessary. The phone call happened after the interaction.

We don't live in the area but came to know of Bend Pet Express a couple years ago when visiting and attending the July 4th pet parade. The store is well stocked and the employees are helpful knowledgeable.

This just happened and I’m pretty taken aback by it. I have frequented Pet Express many times for my dog’s raw food - Primal brand - and when he began to have extreme digestive issues I cut out different things, the culprit was sadly the Primal Freeze dried food that I was buying here. I tried other flavors and even another brand here upon this discovery, but my dog wouldn’t touch it. My vet told me to get him Royal Canin Digestive care for small dogs. When I tell you it changed my dog’s life, I am not exaggerating. His whole digestive track is healthy and happy now. So anyway, I was buying this at petsmart and missed being able to support my local pet express so I decided to pop in and ask if they have it. I was met with the most condescending attitude of a cashier (30s male, tall, skinny) who goes “UHMMM NO we DO NOT carry Royal Canin because we do NOT carry anything with corn or grains or by-products. You’ll have to go to PETCO to get THAT” Like OKAY CHILL! You dont have to be so rude and uncouth when I asked a simple question! This is the only food my dog can handle. Have some empathy and understand raw food doesn’t work for all dogs! Never going back here. Felt very attacked in front of the whole store.

absolutely love this place! Best pet store I have been to in town so far. All because of the employees mostly, they have all been extremely nice and helpful each time I have visited and I am seriously impressed with the level of customer service I received each time. While I have visited other pet stores which I will not name and received judgment and pushy service, this place is the exact opposite which is great! Love the bald dude who's super nice and this other girl with blondish hair who work there. They're both super friendly and helpful! This place knows what's up!

We came here for a clicker as we are training our new rescue dog. We left with so much more. The team here are such kind people, and they cared about our purchases and our furbabies. Love the fact that they give new customers a free clicker! It’s a huge bonus. This is now our favorite local pet store.

This pet store is the best pet store that I have been in, and this is saying something. The selection of pet toys and food are A quality. However, what sets this particular pet store/location aside is the outstanding customer service. Every time my wife and our basset hound enter the store we are greeted with smiles and someone that is eager to help with whatever we are looking for, in particular Lizzy; she is very friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell she enjoys her job.
