Just had my first visit to Bend Pet Express. I was greeted warmly by Elena. She patiently listened to what I was looking for in a new food for my cats. I was VERY specific in my wants and needs for a new cat food.I am replacing the food that my cats have been on for three years but is being discontinued.Not only did she have several excellent suggestions, she also let me know that a formerly reputable company was acquired by a disreputable company and to avoid them! Her knowledge and warmth was superior to my experience at many stores in Bend. She is definitely an asset to this store!

SEE HAPPY RESCUE KITTEN Princess Pebbles in photos! Just got her.The Good- Good selection of treats, toys and so on. Very gracious staff (first visit only).The Bad- They have almost no cat treats! I have to make two stops every time I come here. Staff less friendly second visit. Much less.Kast's Tip- if you rescue an animal from the HSCO, this place will set you up with a tremendous bag o' loot, as they just did when I got my new kitten's care package today!

I just saw my veterinarian today for an ear/skin infection for my new Humane Society rescue pup. Apparently my dog may have food allergies. I walked in the door and was greeted by Kit who was extremely helpful. She is knowledgeable about all the different foods they carry in the store and she helped me navigate how to deal with my dog’s potential allergies. She was empathetic and really great with my dog. All of my interactions at Bend Pet Express (both Eastside and Westside) have been fantastic. Keep up the good work. Your employees rock.

Can't recommendMoved to bend back from Redmond and was recommended bend pet express from my previous favorite spot.Sadly when I came in I was greeted and asked what I came in for (which is a plus) but after the associate showed me where the wet dog food was they walked off without saying anything to my dog 😭Okay well the prices werent very great, I know it's a specialty store and whatnot so there's a premium, but no deals or specials or even "buy 7 get one free on chews' was really hard to not notice coming from my last place.So if the prices and specials aren't good is the customer service very good?No. My dog was ignored which was really tough for me because even the chain stores will say hi to him and sometimes offer treats . Worst of all when I went up to the register the woman kurtly asked "last name?" To which I said this is my first time here I don't have an account. Instead of offering to make one or welcoming me to the store she just skipped the whole process and rung me out and sent me on my way.I think I would rather drive back to Redmond where I feel like they care about the client pets and I feel good about supporting their business

The helpful staff fitted my pet with the best fitting flotation device so I could be assured of his safety when we are paddle boarding. The Ruff Wear vest cost a little more than I was planning on spending however my dog is comfortable and I can easily pluck him from the water. Because of the life vests good design he can easily walk and swim in it. I shop at Pet Express because they are friendly, knowledgeable and have good products.

Went in today to have my dogs naileds trimmed. I adopted him 2 months ago and he is very nervous and reactive towards that kind of thing. Was worried about anyone else doing it. We met Isabel today at Eastside bend pet express. She was absolutely amazing. 120% would recommend. I've always loved the staff at Bend pet express. They are amazing and have helped me out more than once. Completely trust them with my animals/ dietary needs/ now nail trimming. Thank you guys! Your amazing!

Hey Ryan- Give Kit a raise! She's a genius! After a few months of trying to figure out why our bulldog was loosing weight, Kit thoughtfully listened, asked questions and found the right food for her. Super thankful and very impressed :)

Had my dog bathed and Isabelle charged me 3 additional charges with no warning. New staff there, so I didn’t recognize their number when a call came in from an unknown city, not Bend. They charged me for additional hair but Stacy said he didn’t have much hair. They charged me for being late to pick him up but I didn’t get a text; rather a call from unknown area and I don’t answer those. I was awaiting a text from them. And they upcharged me additionally for a “large dog” but I always paid Sara the large dog fee without extra fees. Not this time. Won’t be back. Bad customer service. Called Isabelle the manager to ask about that and no call back. Sara never mistreated customers like that.

Large selection of high end quality dog food, treats, toys and accessories. I walked in and was able to use the self serve dog wash, but the area had not been cleaned after the prior customer and was out of shampoo and covered in hair. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I don't own a dog but was shopping for dogs that I dog sit and I like to use treats, toys and food that are natural and healthy for the animals in my car and the ladies working here made it a breeze!

My experience with the self wash dog baths was they take appointments, as a walk in with 2 dogs I had to wait, and they were very busy so it was hard to manage with my boys. Also it cost me $37 for 2 dogs which I thought was too much for me using their tub. I was not happy with the shampoo choices either.

I have a very people fearful dog and today, while the store wasn't busy, I brought him in with me and 3 staff members took turns sitting on the floor and patiently letting him approach them for yummy treats. That may not seem like a big deal to most people, but it was huge for me and my boy!

This place is AMAZING! I took my chihuahua in to get his nails cut. The girls were incredible-I’m so happy and my dog, although not happy, did pretty well.

Noise problem. Great dog wash but I believe the decibel levels from the vacuums are beyond safe levels. I told an employee who was receptive and commiserated with me but I want to make sure the owner sees this. I worked in manufacturing for over a decade where PPE (personal protective equipment) is standard and I would not go back without it. But on the other hand I probably wouldn’t go back until they do something about it because I can’t even imagine the agony my dog was in being in that environment. My ears are still ringing. Also the employees are being subjected to this. Not ok. Great shop, staff, and facilities but I think this a safety issue.

Great local resource for pet supplies. They are clean, friendly, and there is a good selection of dog food & treats that are difficult to find elsewhere in town.I have been working with my vet through trial and error for the past few years to find the right mix of foods to satiate my cat's insatiable appetite and decided it was time to try a mixture of raw with his Purina Pro Plan. This is the only place that I have found it easy to find a variety of premade raw & dehydrated cat food. Thankful for this place!

Bend Pet Express is easy to get to, the store is very open inside, and they seem to have a pretty good selection. I didn't spend a lot of time looking through the store, but I definitely was able to find what I was looking for pretty quickly. Staff was pleasant and friendly.

Great customer service and options. Staff is super sweet. Great dog wash! Only thing I would critique would be to label the shampoos, conditioners, etc; just incase if I want to try or use something else. Also kind of wish there was some music playing in the dog wash room.
