My dog is a little shy and it was his first time going into a pet shop. Karen was just so sweet, she helped Frank and I out and even gave him some doggy treats. And when we had to step outside for an emergency potty break, when I came back in she was excited to see us walking back up.I bought a small bag of Taste of the Wild puppy chow, a bully bone for Frank, and a cloth poopy bag holder that are Bobs.With being a vital care member I got $3 off that I then turned around and donated $2 back, so my total came to $41.97It's a very good location and just big enough to still feel like a small store. Highly recommend!

I like to get my dog bathed here, and even though my little one is not the best with public places, she is starting to get more comfortable each time we visit . Self wash is super convenient and the ladies who work there are really nice. As far as the products go they are a bit pricier than other places, but I mostly come for the self wash which is affordable and convenient!Edit: knocking off a star as the prices have gone up, I understand inflation and all, but there could be better alternatives to just passing the cost onto the consumer for profit greed.

Everyone is always helpful at this store. Shout-out to Jacob who was exceptional in this visit. I was greeted within 5 seconds, he then let me do all my shopping. While checking out, he made sure to get all my discounts applied and even waited while I got 2 more discounts downloaded from the app. This was an exceptional customer experience.

*Updated 04/30/2024*Taking more stars away since I got here before 5:30pm today and was told the baths were closed again. I guess they can just pick and chose when they close and don't honor being there before 5:30. It makes no sense why they are closed a whole hour and a half before the store actually closes.I really like this store and I come in often. But I came in at 6pm to get my dog a quick bath and was told the baths shut down at 5:30... and hour and a half before the actual store closes. There is nothing on the website about this nor have I seen one at the store saying it closes that early.

Cute little pet store. We had googled where to find an inflatable donut collar for our dog and this place came up. It is not a large Petco, more like a small rendition of one, but it had what we needed.

As usual, they're prices are ridiculously elevated. If I wouldn't of needed the product I bought that day, I'd of just ordered it. The price difference was substantial. $33.99 as opposed to $49.99.

Review for the dog wash self service -1 - cost increase to $20! For a mediocre service with unfriendly staff.2 - you cannot adjust the water temperature. The water is way warmer than a comfortable temperature for dogs and humans.3 - the towels are essentially small cleaning rags. Super thin and get saturated quickly.4 - they do not provide aprins anymore apparently so expect to get wet.5 - the staff is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. They constantly reminded me that their closing time for the wash area is 5;30 even though I had more than 30 min until then. They were moping the floor right around and behind me as I was drying off my dog. I had to stop a few times to make sure I don't bump into them. Also it made the floor slippery around me.Reading the other comments, it is clear that there is so much room for improvements and their management doesn't give a freak. What a waste of the facility and location.

Went in looking for a cheap treat for my 2 huskies and was helped to a section of beef tracheas. I never even knew these were a thing. Low in fat and they last longer than 30 seconds like most other treats with my huskies. Allowed me to get done work from home stuff done for awhile keeping them entertained. Great experience, will return for more browsing as I was in a hurry.

This store has a good selection of stuff food and treats. My the star rating is mainly due to the lack of greeting and unfriendly staff. A positive interaction with the staff goes a long way to develop loyalty with me.

Staff is really nice and helpful.Management, please add more rugs/mats near the bathing area and register. My senior dog did slip twice. Also, bringing in a loud beeping scizzor lift during business hours was a little obnoxious. This should be done right before opening or at closing.

Staff is VERY helpful, almost too much so, hovering if they aren't busy. They are pleasant and knowledgeable, just sometimes feels a little pushy. Location has a nice dog wash station for a fair price. Lowered rating because the stuff is so expensive in comparison to other outlets for pet supplies. $12 for a pet brush. I can buy the same style from Dollar Tree or a human brush for under $5. New pet coupons are nice.

We came here for puppy obedience classes and have been really happy. It took a few weeks to get on the schedule, but they keep the classes small (about 3 pups) and use positive training techniques. Elise is our trainer and she's great! The rest of the staff are also really sweet and helpful.Their selection of supplies is really big, and they have a self-serve dog wash in back. It's a great location overall.

I absolutely love this place. My husband, mom and I all love to go here! I am a huge fan of the discounts they have given me & the extra time they spend educating, and being super awesome! :) Matthew is kind, helpful and all around a good guy. He gave us a great discount and made our experience wonderful, even carrying our dog food to the car. Sami takes time to explain things, and has been very thoughtful w discounts & it's very apparent she loves animals. She works very hard and is a wonderful person! I keep hearing about how we can order our dog food online but the main reason I don't want to is because I love going here and I love the customer service. Thank you for putting a smile on our faces every visit. Thanks so much!

I love this service. I have a very large dog and the groomers do not want to work with him because they are afraid of him.. The self Doug wash allows us a nice place for his grooming. Highly recommended!

This store is the closest to my house. 1st time I went in for a flea comb & ended up buying 4 kinds of kitten food to try too an employee helped me locate them. 2nd time I went for dog aspirin an employee put away what she was doing helped me find it & showed me CBD products. 3rd time I called while waiting to be helped in Hillsboro store (I never was) & they found part of what I needed & the rest at another location. When I picked up the item they had it waiting & the extremely helpful lady who I talked to on the phone came over to say hi & check on my kitten & mommy cat. 4th time I went back to buy CBD product for my dog. The same girl remembered & helped me. Every employee there greets you & asks if you need help. They are all very friendly & amazing! I wish I knew their names to thank them specifically.

I used to love this store. I did my puppy training here and the trainer was great. Sadly the last 2 months the store has been staffed with the rudest most uncaring staff that it's shocking really. I just left the store without my purchases after how disterested the cashier was with doing anything other her paperwork and how annoyed she was with our questions like "Can we check out"

Cute little store, but seems on the spendy side. I only went through the cat section, and was not incredibly impressed. They could improve their cat section as it was only a small footprint of the overall store. I was also less-than thrilled that most of their litters were clay-based (bad for cats and environment!), and their food selection was also small! They had some cute toys and cat trees, but when we checked the price it was agreed we could get a similar item for a better price elsewhere. Overall cute store to window-shop, and likely a much better experience for folks with dogs, but I don’t think this will be my “one stop shop” for pet supplies.

Small store so less selection. They tend to have the higher quality, better brands. If your looking for anything cheap, just go to the normal Petco.The best part about this store is because it's small, you get greeted right away and one on one appearance if needed.Whenever I go in I feel like they actually care about me and my pets. If they do not have something in stock, they will order it and have it sent to my house.

Location is in a nice area , items priced in the mid to high range , the people that work at the store arent always the most friendly. That's not to say all of them are unfriendly however many are and it doesnt make the experience of taking your dog in with you as fun or as pleasant. Also not all workers are aware of the price matching policy so you may want a price match and they say they dont do that and then you have to go to Google find the policy and show them. Which is inconvenient.

Friendliest staff ever!!! I started coming here for the refillable cat litter about a year ago. I sent my fiancé for the first time and tried to give him instructions on how to get a refill but he was super confused. He walked in and about 2 seconds of feeling lost someone greeted him and offered to help! The girl took the bucket from him, filled up the litter and invited him to browse the store while she did that and to meet her at the register. You just don’t find customer service like this anymore! Thanks so much unleashed!

I wanted to use the self service dog wash. I was told on the phone that I could groom my dog as well as wash her. And also told that help would be available if I needed it (like getting my dog into the wash station or on the grooming table. I was so disappointed that not only did they not want me to groom my dog but only wash her. Was rushed through my appt. and when had difficulty getting her into the bath was told they were not authorized to help me. It was stressful and I was not able to complete my grooming project. So disappointed. Will not be back.

Nice shop to run in at grab some pet supplies. They don't have any pets to sell but they seem to have most everything else. They have a handy do it yourself bath setup for your dogs to enjoy. Very convenient and does offer for training classes.
