I called in feb 16, 2024 around 11pm. there is a girl working in the pharmacy. I was looking to see if I can get my medications transferred to another rite aid. But as soon as I called in , she filled my prescription and told me it’s processing and you can pick it up soon. When I tried to tell her (multiple times) that I want my prescription filled at another rite aid … she was talking over me saying things like “sorry do I need to repeat myself I have already filled and it’s processing” she just DIDNT let me talk at alllll. And she could hear me perfectly fine! She was just not letting me talk for whatever reason. Everytime I tried to speak she cuts me and says “it’s processing” on the 3rd attempt of me trying to tell her to transfer my meds… she said “okay bye” while I was speaking.I literally had to call another rite aid and have someone from the pharmacy to speak to her to get my medication transferred.This rite aid is just ridiculous!

All these awful reviews have me so confused.I've been using this Rite Aid for a year now and I have never received any bad service. In fact - its quite the opposite. Every time I walk into this store the cashier clerk is always happy and greets me at the door. The pharmacy has always done their best to help me receive my medications in time and if its out of stock they are always more than willing to help me find it elsewhere. I highly recommend this location.

I love rite aid especially this location. Super nice and friendly staff. They greet you as you enter the store. Very clean and super organized you can quickly narrow down where you need to go. They have pretty much everything you need. I especially love the arm and hand stabilizers they have a great selection and have helped me with my carpal tunnel. I recommend this rite aid store plus they have a huge parking lot.

The pharmacy doesn’t answer the phone. I submitted two online refill requests and one over the phone system over the course of about 10 days. No prescription. Then I had to call about 30 times before someone picked up and I sat on hold for 2 hours. Then my prescription wasn’t ready when I was told it would be. So much trouble to get a refill.

Probably the worst rite aid I’ve ever been to. Got a prescription called In at 9am on 11/2 after surgery, went to pick up in 11/3 at 2pm and was told it wouldn’t be ready for several hours. Four TINY tablets. Attempted to call the pharmacy six different times and never got through. Finally showed up around the estimated pick up time and there were several phone lines on hold (including us) and all three employees sitting around laughing. Yet two other people were told their rxs would be filled within an hour. Definitely switching pharmacies to one that’ll actually fill my medications in a timely manner.

Usually no problems here at all. My last trip however was rather comical. I picked up a prescription. No problems there. I wanted to grab a couple sodas but their entire cooler was down so I grabbed a couple 1 liters from the aisle. When I opened it at home it erupted, showering me with Dr Pepper along with my entire kitchen. Pretty sure I won't be buying warm 1 liters again!

Absolutely the WORST pharmacy experience I have ever had. The head pharmacist is extremely rude and is not helpful at all. I have filled about 10 prescriptions here and I was understanding at first because they are understaffed and over worked, but there's a point where their inability to fill prescriptions is just unacceptable. The first time I went there was when mask ordinances were still in place. My prescription had been sent to them five days prior but when I got there they had no record of it. Turns out the request had been sitting in a pile of other prescriptions that was on their printer. The head pharmacist found the prescription by reaching under his mask, licking his fingers and thumbing through all of the paperwork! Absolutely disturbing for a health professional to do in the middle of a pandemic. Since then NONE of the prescriptions I have gotten filled there have been ready when I showed up, no matter how much time I have given them to fill it. My most recent prescription still hasn't been filled and it has been almost a MONTH and a HALF. Its because they didn't have the prescription in stock and were ordering more, but there has been no communication about when the shipment will be coming in, when I call, no one answers; I will call multiple times a day, multiple times a week and nothing. So to check if my prescription has been delivered I have to physically go into the pharmacy to check - I've been three times now with no luck. This pharmacy needs a major overhaul, but even then I probably wouldn't ever go back. I've kinda lost all faith in Rite Aid.

7/7/23 Update! They fixed the air conditioning! I was in this store yesterday, and it was a very hot day (96) , but the inside of the store was finally at a comfortable temperature. There was no line and I got both of my medication‘s quickly. And the pharmacist was thoughtful enough to ask me how the service was and I told him that the service itself was great, but that the store had been uncomfortable up until yesterday. He agreed and he said that it was so much better to work in and I’m happy for them.The store is HOT. They already needed HVAC help last year. This year, even on a cooler summer day when it’s only 80° out, the store is still 85° inside. I guess it’s OK if there’s no line and you can get out quickly. Also, on hot days, you will want to leave pets or passengers at home. There is no shaded parking whatsoever.On the plus side, they’re friendly. And the pharmacist seems to be able to make good judgment calls on filling prescriptions. For example, I have a prescription that I don’t refill as often as it’s prescribed. If I go a little while without having it, the pharmacist can read my history and see that I’ve had it before And doesn’t disrupt my prescriptions or the quantity. So that’s great. But it’s the bare minimum.There’s just something about standing in line for 15 minutes just to find out they did not fill your RX. Or if they’re out of stock of medication, it would be great if they could just automatically fill your prescription once the medication comes in. But they don’t do that. So you really have to stay on top of them and if they don’t answer the phone then you have to go in and stand in line in a really hot store. It would be nice if they called or had some communication.Great pharmacy if you are able bodied and have nothing better to do than go stand in line to get updates, repeatedly.

I feel bad because the people that work here are nice. This company however seems to be going under and they couldn't even get air conditioning properly sorted out for these poor folks all summer and it was a sweltering hot mess in there! I know staffing is tight everywhere, I work in retail and we are experiencing the same thing. I would hope that rite aid pays pharmacy staff well and has good benefits as it's a medical job, and therefore wouldn't have too much trouble finding folks, but whatever is going wrong at this company is affecting prescription times and they don't have it ready days later even after the time you scheduled and I just feel bad for these folks who clearly don't have the resources to do the job they're trying to do. I'm going to be switching pharmacies next week and finish my relationship with rite aid as they are no longer a sustainable business.

I'm only giving 3 stars because of the help I received. I have missed 3 weeks of my medication because of the pharmacy manager. Everytime I called, my dad called, and other pharmacies called the manager was so rude. He kept talking over me not letting me speak, and lying saying he faxed another pharmacy when he didn't and then failed to inform me there was a problem with my medication, and hung up on all of us including the other pharmacy and told me my insurance was the issue when they accept my insurance. I finally had enough and walked down there today spoke with the store manager and ended up speaking to Tammi Tavares who I cannot thank enough for being so helpful and understanding and going the extra mile for me and getting me a 28 day supply of the medication before I left. She went above and beyond to find another pharmacy that had what I needed so she could pick it up for me and hold it until I need it. She needs a raise and they really need to address the guys behavior. I hope he gets fired. Because his behavior was beyond unacceptable.

This is BY FAR the most disorganized and poorly run business I have ever interacted with. My experience here has varied between bad and abysmal. I went in four times in a row for a prescription I really needed, and each time they wrote down my name and prescription and said it would for sure be ready the next day. And then on the fourth trip they finally tell me their supplier isn’t sending them that medication and I need to go somewhere else!! Oh and good luck calling them. It is literally impossible to reach them by phone. Never going back.

THIS IS THE WORST PHARMACY. I’m not one to usually leave a review, but after coming here for 5 years (because it’s right near my house) I’ve decided to never come back. Worst customer service ever and the pharmacist is the biggest P.O.S I’ve ever had to deal with. You will see him be little co workers and customers. You will have to wait extremely long for a prescription and then deal with his attitude. It’s toxic and spreads to the counter staff who also will treat you poorly. DONT GO HERE. SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE MORE RELIABLE AND KIND.

This pharmacy is a total joke! The pharmacy techs and cashiers are nice, but the main pharmacist is a rude person! They told my mom to come get her meds on Sunday 10/02, so when she arrived they said to come back the next day. So I went for my mom to pick up the pills on Monday (today), only for them to say it’ll take 30mins. When I came back 30 mins later, they didn’t have it! They told me to wait for another 30 mins! I’m convincing my mom to switch pharmacies.

After 5 days, I show to pick up the RX. Told I am out of refills and awaiting MD call back (bottle stated there's a refill). They did not call to tell me of this problem. I call the clinic and they tell they should have the RX. Went to pick up 2 days later. No Rx. Told me to call MD--- clinic closed. Went in to complain, the RX is ready. Obviously they forgot and had to call the emergency MD for approval. This is no way to run a pharmacy.

Two months ago rite aid replaced my regular, years old, generic sublingual prescription with cheap, giant, huge, disgusting and literally intolerable replacement. Now this month they did the same exact thing with another prescription! Now i have two medications that are way to big for human consumption and literally induce the gag reflex. Thanks riteaid! Unbelievably rude pharmacist. Every time I have asked to fill my prescription something is not correct, the dosage is wrong, I don’t receive the correct amount of tablets, just recently I got sent home with a prescription completely different than the one I ordered. I have never once been angry or rude towards him or the staff because I get it, mistakes happen, but every time he tries to tell me it’s my fault and NEVER apologizes for their mistakes. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Completely unsafe and unethical. One star is still too much.

The workers here are kind of surly and they charged me $22 in-store for something that's listed at $17 online. I told them it was cheaper on their website and they said I'd have to order it that way, then pick it up later. That's horrible customer service in my opinion.Update: I submitted feedback to Rite Aid and they did call me to tell me the cashier should've matched the price, and that I would be refunded the difference if I went in again. Moving my review from 2 to 3 stars since at least they seem to care.

The pharmacy is unorganized and chaotic. I called in and was assured my prescription would be ready the next day, came two days later and it wasn't ready yet, I came back an hour later and it was the wrong brand and wrong quantity (supposed to be 3 month supply, gave me one). This isn't the first time, either. They refused to fix it so I just had to take it as it was. The pharmacy workers are extremely rude and unprofessional and acted like their mistakes were my fault. They also move very slowly, even just two people ahead of you in line can mean a 10+ minute wait time which I have not encountered at any other pharmacy. I plan to switch back to CVS, it's a farther drive but at least I can feel assured that I will be given quality service.

Awful pharmacy staff. There’s an older woman at drop off who was extremely rude! She made comments that weren’t necessary. I was only there for a booster shot and after waiting almost 15 minutes past my time (for an appointment I had) I asked if she had a time frame and her response was I put in the paperwork and the pharmacist knows. So whenever it happens. What’s the point of an appointment then? People have places to go and things to do which is why an appointment is made in the first place. I will NEVER go back to that location, ever.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only do they never have prescriptions ready when they are supposed to, they don’t bill things correctly, wait times in line are routinely 30+ minutes, they run out of medications and more problems than I can remember happen all the time. Today I went into to pick up my medications and the line was long, whatever it’s normal for them but to set the tone multiple people ahead of me had problems with things not being ready, missing or plain wrong, one guy was obviously upset and started getting louder about some mistake and the lady after him had a fit about being told to wait at least 30 minutes for her medications not being ready despite the phone call from Rite Aid saying they were ready for pickup after she had already spent a long time in line in the first place. She was told that the automated system doesn’t know that they were backed up.Whats my problem today? Apparently one of my prescriptions was billed to some rando’s insurance and the person at the counter (Greg) asked if I wanted it changed or if I just wanted to pay the significantly higher cost, it took a while to understand what he was saying but essentially he said he didn’t know why but it’s been happening lately (billing the wrong persons insurance) and I could go sit down and wait for someone else to eventually re-bill it or I could pay for it as is and leave now. Now this pharmacy has consistently messed up and been infuriating for years and the line moves slower than molasses but I draw the line at INSURANCE FRAUD. If there wasn’t a line halfway to the door I would have asked for a manager (something I have never done anywhere). After I was called back up he makes a comment about the line being shorter and he doesn’t know if that’s because people have left or not. I tell him straight up that multiple people in front of me and behind gave up and left and it’s like this every time I come in, that I’m sure it’s not his fault in particular but the service is awful, constantly makes mistakes and has been doing so for a long time. His response was that he knows it’s bad but have you seen the lines at Fred Meyer? They are always longer.I just stared at him, grabbed my stuff and left. I wasn’t about to make any of the poor people behind me wait even longer while I explained to him that long lines are one thing (and often understandable), but unapologetic incompetence is another. I want to be clear that this isn’t just Greg’s fault, 4/5 employees including the pharmacist constantly make mistakes and are completely unsympathetic and oftentimes rude about it. IDGAF about polite/good service most of the time, I just want my meds. I DO care about someone thinking it was ok to knowingly overcharge me and bill an insurance that is not and has never been mine.

The customer service at this Rite Aid is appalling... I have never experienced worse- the entire staff is TERRIBLE!!! They are mean, dismissive, completely inept and have messed up my prescriptions on multiple occasions. They told me my insurance wouldn’t cover a certain medication which was untrue because come to find out they had my information entered incorrectly....after they made me pay full price!! They miscounted my prescription then the pharmacist had the audacity to bully me for not picking up the missing medication sooner!!! This review will be followed by a formal complaint.

This place has the single worst pharmacy that I’ve been to in the portland metro area. Do not come here if you don’t have time to wait. You will wait a minimum of a half hour for your prescription regardless of the time of day that you visit.Their air conditioning has also been broken for the last four months. You’ll be uncomfortable while you wait.

Called the Pharmacy to get help refilling a prescription and got the most unhelpful and wasteful service ever. It made me regret even using Rite Aid. Don't waste your time on the Pharmacy here, use someone else who actually cares about getting you your medication. Got put on hold 4 times for the most basic questions in case your curious about wait time.

My Dr. called me at 11:00 and sent my script in at that time. Came in after work at 4:15 and it wasn't filled yet because 'they didn't have my insurance info yet'. I had gotten my flu shot htheere a month prior using my insurance. This was my first prescription filled here, but I don't see how that effects my pickup. Do uninsured people not buy medications?EditJust had my fourth visit here. This place is just the worst and I never put up reviews. After repeat visits they have once again lost my info. I learned after the first visit to call and ask them to make the script we sent in. Because they lost my insurance info, again, they didn’t make the prescription even tho we call and they said they would have it ready. I will be driving further to avoid this place from now on.

Is it possible to rate this pharmacy a zero!!! Because I would. After more than ten years of spending HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS on prescriptions (every month) they still don’t get it right. They change the prescriptions even thought the doctor has literally written it one way. They fill it however they please. And the last two times I had to talk to the pharmacist HE WAS VERY RUDE TO ME!! Very rude. I’m sorry he doesn’t speak English well and can’t answer questions clearly so I have to ask it multiple times. That’s not my fault. Well because of his rudeness I’m done. I’m not paying that much money to be spoken to and treated like this anymore. Hope they find someone else to sign their paychecks because they won’t get another dime from me!

I have been waiting for a new prescription to be filled for two days without so much as a peep about the status. I figured I would try here because it's so much closer to home than my usual pharmacy (Walgreens on 185th and Farmington). Tried calling 4 times today and just get caught in a loop of pressing 3 to speak to a pharmacist and then waiting and then ending up back at the list of options. Decided to try speaking to a store associate, ended up back at the options again. No one answers the phone!
