This is my first time to petco grooming service! I trusted her with my baby, but look what I got !? Won't be back for grooming again here. Paid $120 for this! Not again! I had to redo her whole body! 😩 what a waste of time and $$$

Very disappointed. I have been coming to this store for years to purchase all my reptile food etc. Twice a week for cricket. The selection of live insects has declined over the last couple of months. I have looked past that, but unfortunately, yesterday was very disappointing. I went in with my 2 boys and they seen a “feeder” goldfish and fell in love with it. The sales lady explained that it was a feeder fish 45 cents and would not live long. So as we l left the store my boys kept asking for the fish, so I said ok. We went back to the store, and it was a different man and he refused to sell us the fish. He said that goldfish need 5 gallons per inch of fish to be happy and healthy. (I have a 20 gallon tank and it is plenty big enough for a goldfish). A 20 gallon tank is perfectly fine to start with for a goldfish. I said you won’t sell me a .45 cent goldfish because you are worried I won’t take care of it, but you will sell it to someone as food. He told me correct. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. My boys left there in tears. I WON'T BE BACK

First off before entering the store I literally see 2 employees out beside the front door on what looked like their break. One was smoking complaining about his day thus far while the other one chimed in. After walking through their smoke to get in the shopping experience began. Clean aisles, shelves not stocked up and I get it, it's Xmas season. After walking about a few we were greeted with customer service to which that was a 5 star from Conner who happened to be one of the guys outside with the other guy smoking a cigarette. Once Connor asked about help he guided us to aisles for options and gave pros and cons on what we asked about which is rare from customer service so kudos there. Definitely would shop here again unless there is an employee smoking near the entrance. There is enough room to smoke further down the front of the store where customers don't have to walk into cigarette smoke.

Five stars for Meg! Waffle and I are happy to have found such a kind, reliable, quick and thorough groomer. Our previous groomer said that Waffle (dog) will never allow anyone to buff his nails that we might as well stop trying and only do a trim. I’m so glad when we met Meg we decided to give it another try. After two visits she was able to buff. She is very gentle. It is obvious she has a love for animals. I feel very comfortable leaving Waffle in her care. He comes out looking like a stud muffin - see attached pics for proof. I highly recommend sending your furry friends to Meg!

It's becoming incredibly frustrating coming here. The shelves aren't stocked and the store looks a mess. It seems like there's only 2 employees working here. No one's ever around if you need help. You literally have to wait in line at the cashiers for help only for them to tell you they sold out. I came here and ended up having to make a trip to Petsmart instead to buy everything I needed for my pet. If management works here they really need to start getting on the floor and start helping out. This store use to be really great. That's why I got the vital care premier. But now I might just have to start looking at different options.

Really? I go in for one thing. Aquarium plants. I'm waiting at the back thinking surely, I'll see an employee. Nope. So I go up towards the front and see a guy stocking shelves. I ask if he's an employee or a vendor. Oh I'm just helping this store out but I work at another store... okay. So then there's another employee near the dog toys. Oh i don't work in aquatics, that person is still on lunch for at least another 15 minutes. Good grief. Y'all are wondering why you're losing business to online stores.

Took my puppy in for his Rabies shot and the Vet was amazing I also went back a couple weeks later to get him groomed and they were just as amazing. Lovely staff on all sides of Petco

I went here with a friend yesterday and there was a worker following and staring at me as if I was going to take something without purchasing it. Then had the nerve to walk over and hover around the cash register that I was checking out at. This would be a 1 star if it wasn’t for the lady at the register checking me out. She had really good customer service. The floor in the store was filthy so I was already considering not coming back but the worker following me made it official. That worker is a joke and based off of what I saw, they’re probably miserable with their own life. Do better.

When I asked about my membership?Nobody gave me any help in how to access the app.My points or anything. I was just told to get the app. When I originally signed up for the membership? I was told that it would extend sales for 90 days past their expiration. This was not true but here I am still paying money for the membership and have yet to reap any of its benefits.

Bought my daughter a fish tank set up from this location, told them that I intend to buy fish from them. Nobody told me 48 hours after set up will they feed me fish. So I assumed 24 hours, it’s even what their fish tank said. So I take my daughter in for her birthday fish after waiting around for thirty mins to be told we are burnt basically. They also squished my feeder mice for my snake into pancakes because they put rocks on top of my mice. They squished em so hard that the fecal matter inside of them came out of them.

Unfortunately had a pretty negative experience here! I will say my typical Petco is wholly welcoming and kind, but this location is full of snarky employees.I met close friends of mine with our dogs, to work on being around each other and to buy some toys! We kept getting weird looks from employees, and passive aggressive sighs. After spending around 40 minutes in there and making two different purchases, we were flagged down in the parking lot as we left by someone with red hair and lipstick on, asking “what organization I’m with” and demanding we don’t train our dogs inside the store. Stated it was a “conflict of interest” because Petco offers training. This location does not offer training, and Petco training as a whole is a waste of money. We were very courteous and there were only one to two other customers that came through the store, and we made sure to stay out of the way.It’s unfortunate to see people use their male privilege to talk down to others, and I won’t be spending another dime here. I encourage this location to host a training for their employees on how to effectively provide customer service, and possibly even find better employees that are comfortable with people training their own dogs in the store.

I called for an appointment for anal gland excretion as well as a nail trim. After arriving on time I was told to wait outside while they helped two other people…which I was ok with although I was on time and ready for my appt and made sure I had cleared my schedule to plan for what was timely expected when I booked my apt. I’ve been a customer with Petco for many years and have a profile set up with many years of history on file. Upon arriving I was asked to validate rabies vaccines which I conformed via a phone call to my vet. In conversation I happened to mention that my dog has epilepsy. I was then immediately told they couldn’t work with me. No other alternatives no other options just shut down. He has been medicated very well the last 8 years of his life with his seizures being under control…There were no questions asked prior to my appointment about any medical conditions, my pets profile is online with all updated conditions…I was told they are very “corporate” this is why they couldn’t help my pet…with nails and anal excretion…I have since made an appointment with Petsmart and they’re willing to work with my animal.

Highly recommend this pet store. Always clean and the workers are great, especially Alex. If you have pet questions, especially fish, he's your guy. I don't go anywhere else, nor would I want to.

Really disappointed with this store. Been coming to this petco since we adopted our dog 3 years ago. We had a groomer who our dog loved and trusted, which is hard for our dog. So to be lied to about our groomer for THREE weeks not okay. We had built a friendship through pur appointments and trust our dog with Meg. We still do! But we no longer trust Petco because of how they handled they whole situation.Meg if you see this we appreciate you!!!! And we will only come back if you come back!

They were attentive to the fact that our senior doggie didn't do well getting through his last grooming with them, but were willing to just do a foot, face, and fanny trim. It only took about 30 minutes and the charge was very reasonable.

Ever since the pink haired guy stopped working here the customer service has been lacking. They not very nice here. Sometimes I rather drive a little further to a different location than come here. It use to be really welcoming here.

Meg is an amazing groomer! We’re lucky to have found her. She was absolutely a pro with our scared rescue mixed shepherd. She loves her so much and gives her all the treats and patience and time she needs. Our pup is now a monthly regular who looks forward to Meg. She also knows her stuff when it comes to dog breeds and fur. She’ll talk you through the plan and make sound recommendations. We’ll never go anywhere but Meg. Don’t sleep on this salon. It’s the people here who make it.

Alex I know he is a great worker that loves the animals they sell at Petco he really informational about Bearded Dragons he was really nice when I go to Petco especially this one people always take forever I understand if they are understaffed and alot of people ask it's hard to keep up with the people but he is quick efficient and gives great service which you rarely see with these companies for someone that cares about animals it makes me happy to see him work there. 5 Stars for Alex

Glad that they were open the day after Christmas but the employees were not helpful at all. I asked them to help to locate the chicken feed since there’s not any sign that is posted anywhere, instead of trying to help and check, the employees were like: “if you don’t see it on the shelves, we don’t have it” even tho their website said it’s available at this specific store, even though I finally found it myself after 20 minutes checking bag after bag because I really needed it.

This is a great pet store. They have plenty of clothing options for your fur babies. Their food selection is also top notch. The staff are very friendly and they even have pet grooming here. They also had many pet toys, including some "Star Wars" toys. This location has plenty of free parking.

This quick trip in to grab a bag of kibble is a reminder of why I don't shop here and get my dog food online. The store was dirty, carts of product to be stocked blocking the isles (and it's 4:45 in the afternoon) and the two clerks are just chatting. I grab the bag of food I need, head to the cash register and they are still talking. Do they acknowledge a person waiting to check out? No.....one of them goes to grab some drink he's been talking about with the other guy .....as he walks by, the smell of a dirty ashtray and BO made me nauseous.

My recent experience at Petco with Meg was disappointing. Not only did she not finish the grooming service for my dog, but I was also charged $44, which seemed excessive for just a bath. I believe in fair pricing for services rendered, and the incomplete service has left me dissatisfied with the overall experience. I hope this feedback prompts a review of both service quality and pricing practices.

Staff was very nice. Found a way to get us what we needed.Just to note: Due to short staffing they sometimes close early. If I hadn't seen similar things happen at several different kind of businesses I would probably knock off a star. But these days it's just not that unusual.

My boyfriend and I went into this location pretty late, it was near closing. The person who took care of us was absolutely AMAZING, Gabe I think his name was. He was so kind and helpful, not only to us but to our dog as well. I will go back here just because of the service Gabe provided us. It was noticed and appreciated, and it made all the difference in our evening. Thank you Gabe!

A terrific Petco staff member was very helpful in understanding that cats can be picky eaters; she advised me on what I might try and explained the return policy in the event my cats refused to eat the food.

Great for an absolutely heinous display of animal cruelty. There’s a juvenile bearded dragon was advanced metabolic bone disease struggling to take its last breaths. When we told a staff member we were told they were “keeping an eye on it” and he was just malnourished because his tank mate kept eating his food (which is exactly why bearded dragons are not communal creature). Absolutely disgusted.
