I popped in for a lock box to mount a key on the outside of my parents home. While I was there. I found a set of classic Christmas lights that had been sold out everywhere and when I asked if they had more. They said they were out. But they called around to several different stores. They found me 2 more strings that I needed. Very helpful!

My favorite thing about ACE is how accessible and knowledgeable the staff at this location are. You walk through the door and are immediately greeted and asked what you need. If you need help (which I always do) they walkie someone over to the isle they send you too, and that person is there waiting. The small floor plan makes it easier for someone like me to not get overwhelmed and feel I got the things I need. I wish I would have looked at his name badge but they tall gentleman who mixed my paint and put serious thought into his opinion when asked “does this give cozy witches cottage green or darker” I will pick ace first always. ALSO I bought an item they clearly only keep one of, it was back in store 2 weeks later. Nice

I had such a great experience at ACE today. I brought in a knife and axe to be sharpened and they did the knife for free in just a few minutes plus gave me a coupon for me to get my husband’s knife sharpened as well. They have a super cool new sharpening computer and the regular price is $6.99 so no more dull knives ever! The axe needed to be sent out and the awesome guy called me to let me know it was decorative and how should he proceed. He’s gonna do his best to make it work as at least a throwing axe. Super pleased! I had already suspected the axe was meant to be decorative only so it wasn’t a big deal. Get your knives sharpened at ACE and happy holidays!

I came into Ace Hardware today to get a couple of keys 🔑 cut. Mimosa and Shawn helped me. They did a great job. I tried both keys when I got home, and they worked perfectly.

They have every screw, nail, fastener, bolt, washer and more that you can think of more! Better than the big box store and they're always available to help you!

The employees provided excellent customer service and answered all of my questions. I called ahead to inquire about windshield wipers and the person who answered the phone was very informative and helpful. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Before this, I had never installed the windshield wipers and I asked the cashier about that. Unlike other such stores, this cashier did not make me feel stupid for asking that question and answered helpfully. I plan on coming back to the store for future hardware purchases.

They don’t have the largest selection which is unfortunate. There is ALWAYS a friendly, and helpful, staff member around to help (unlike other large hardware retailers). I always stop here first before going anywhere else.

I go here in a pinch. They surprisingly usually have what I need or something close. The prices tend to be a little high, but in a pinch and I don't want to go all the way to Home Depot this location fits the bill.

Friendly, helpful staff (was asked if I needed help 2x by different folks in span of 5 minutes). Even though I was right at the shelf and would have seen what I needed, they were on hand to help me find what I wanted.Downloaded app to get $5 discount. (Sweet!) Got what I needed for less than a buck.One of the few places that sells strike anywhere matches. Hard to find item.

I was very pleased with the service provided by the employees at this location. It definitely beats Home Depot in terms of customer service. It feels more like an old school hardware store and that is a lost art these days. I also found that they stock more rare and slightly higher quality hardware options than the big hardware store. My advice to the owners is to continue emphasizing the old school hardware store feeling and the rare higher quality hardware. I plan on going back.

Nice customer service. Unfortunately this means a 10% mark up on products. Often times they don’t have what you’re looking for. Unless you know for sure the product is there or you’re in an odd pinch I recommend Home Depot or Lowe’s 5-10 minutes away. Or any other specialty store for that matter.

We have made the Hyland Hills Ace our "home" location! We have been there twice, and each time we have had beyond excellent service. A hearty thanks to Dan H, for his above and beyond assistance finding what we need and speaking to both my brother and I, even though my brother can't see. Many people turn to me and forget that he is there and making decisions too. A round of applause for the cashier team of Spencer & Ty, for helping us and being so fun and friendly.The store was well-stocked, aisles were clean and tidy, walkway in/out the door was easily navigated (no displays blocking the door as some places do). We will be back!

Ace is great. So much friendlier than any of the big box stores. They always take time to help me when I have questions. They don't have everything, but they've got most things I need, and that makes them the first place I go for hardware.

This neighborhood ACE store is awesome. It has just about everything that you need for the most common DIY projects. Paint, plumbing, electrical, garden, and so much more. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I only wish they made returns as painless as Home Depot does.

Excellent customer service, I just stop by to get some primer for a project the quart of gallon was only $8.99 really good price and quality compare to the other stores, they have hardwear tools anything from gardening, bbqs, painting, and caning tools as well. I highly recommend coming to this place if you need keys mades as well I have been a customer ever since they had there location at the Ceder Hills Ave.

Great for hardware but not great for being called, “honey”, “sweetie”, and, “babe”. Will not return to this location. I’d rather drive farther away than to experience the behavior directed at myself and multiple other people in the store. I couldn’t wait to leave. For some people, this language can be very triggering.I appreciate Dan reaching out and speaking with staff about the issue. Upgrading you to 5 stars from 3 for being proactive

Very nice and well kept store. Extremely clean. Not very big for an Ace Hardware store but still has a huge selection. Was doing some work on my sisters condo and they had all of the tools and miscellaneous parts that I needed to complete everything I needed to do. Very polite and helpful staff. If I need anything else I will be stopping back by to get it.

I’ve never been more uncomfortable in a store. The person helping me asked me what I was looking for and took me to the aisle which was great. But he smelled like alcohol and after I found what I wanted he lingered for a while trying to push me to the front of the store, then walked away but was within earshot talking to someone on the walkie talkie about what I had and he thought I might be coming up soon. He followed me around the store, popping into the aisle I was in multiple times and talked about what I had in my hand on the walkie talkie at least 2-3 times. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I will never go to this location again.

Had a really great experience at this store! The gentleman who answered the phone was really kind and helpful! I needed paint matched at this store because another store was unwilling to help me buy paint there. This store was wonderful. Nathaniel was great! He went through the color codes and matched it up. Give great advice. I really enjoyed being able to get the product I needed with so many people being kind and helpful!
