I have only used the self wash, and I drive a bit further to get here, because it's worth it. I've been here five times now, and will keep returning. The staff are kind and helpful, the tubs are cleaned between dogs, and their dryers are commercial grooming dryers, not underpowered consumer ones. The cleanliness is so critical and I visited several businesses with self wash before finding this one.The Farmington Rd location is cash/check only as of this posting, but there is an ATM across the parking lot if you happen to fail to read the clearly posted signs before starting your wash (like I did the first time!).

So happy we found Elegant Dog Grooming. We’ve been there several times and he always comes out looking and smelling amazing! They are reasonably priced, no pressuring for a tip, but always appreciated. They ask questions and make it their best effort to give the cut you’re wanting. I have no trouble finding last minute appointments. I especially like that they begin working on him right away and call me just over 2 hours when he’s done. No waiting around in a little kennel for hours!

I take my dog Ruby to Elegant Dog Wash at Farmington Village on the corner of SW 185th and SW Farmington Rd. once a month. The place is always spotless and the tubs are clean and ready to go. Elegant Dog’s staff provide plenty of washing supplies, ear cleaning cotton balls, towels and blow dryers for my 50 pound Labrador Retriever. They also do a fantastic job, cutting and trimming her nails at every wash for only a few dollars more. The Elegant dog wash is a welcome addition to the family of fine stores at Farmington Village.

It has been about 2 years since I used their services but I was reminiscing and appreciating their work and thought it needed to be shared. 2 years ago, 4 days before Thanksgiving I acquired a dog that was in terrible condition. Her whole body was matting, including a huge pelt on the top of her head. Now that she has been with my family 2 years I also know that she does NOT behave for grooming.Armando Victoria was able to squeeze her into his schedule next day (3 days before Thanksgiving). He was able to get her completely mat free. I am so grateful for his work to help her be comfortable so she could enjoy her new chance at life. She now gets groomed every 3 weeks and will luckily never know matting again, but I will forever appreciate the work Elegant Dog Grooming did. Thank you guys for putting the comfort of my dog above all else. Great self service dog wash! The entire place was very clean especially the tubs. It was well stocked with shampoo, towels, ear cleaner, and nail clippers and a dremmel.

First time at this location and I was super impressed!! Love the 185th location, but this one is closer to our house so thought I would give it a try. Rivke was amazing! Being groomed is not our toy poodles favorite activity, but he did so well with Rivke and he looks amazing! We will definitely be back! One before picture and two afters. We will definitely be back!

I've taken my problem child Chiweenie (he's the best dog just does not like to get his nails clipped) to Elegant Dog Groomers a few times and have been very happy with how clean It is and how patient the staff was with my boy. And resonablely priced. Thank you!

Three of the five/six times we have loaded up dogs to bring them here to find they closed early, well over an hour and a half before posted closing.The first time I was told that the hours on Google are incorrect, but they they were also closing early that day. I had arrived about 4pm to find the last employee walking out the door and locking up when the sign said they closed at 5:30, with Google saying 6. They said they were not able to get them updated, so I updated the hours on Google for them hoping that would be the end of the confusion.Another time we went and found they had closed early.Today (3rd time) we called at 3:30 to ask if they were open normal hours today (until 5:30) and were told yes. We loaded up 3 dogs and drove them over, arrived a bit before 4pm. We were told they were closing early and we could not wash dogs. After going back to the car and discussing going to another self-wash the guy came out and said "bring your dogs in" but we have decided we will take our dogs elsewhere. We are bringing in short to medium coat dogs, nothing with excessive drying time.On the plus side the tubs are clean, they supply shampoo and conditioner, and ear cleaner. The forced air dryers work well.We had been excited to have a self-wash close to home, but with about a 50% success rate of them actually being open the hours posted on the door, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Rivke has been Nemo's personal Groomer for a long time, she's just awesome! She always does an EXCELLENT job and he's always excited to see her! If you take your Doodle somewhere else, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you call Elegant Dog Grooming in Aloha and ask for Rivke! They have another location as well on NW 185th and NW West Union Rd! Tell them Nemo sent you!!!!

This review is only for the self-service dog wash, not the grooming services. We’ve been coming here since they opened and it seems like their self service dog wash just becomes less and less of a priority for them to maintain. There’s never any clean tubs, they’ve been out of ear rinse, they have like one functional large collar, the rest of their collars are rusted since the plastic is chipped, they have maybe one apron…it’s a joke. The staff member working last weekend was barely trained and rude af. For dang near $20 there are plenty of other self service dog wash options.

We had a great experience. The shop is very well lit, super clean, offers a variety of shampoo options and has plenty of dryers. The set up made it very easy to wash my giant breed dog. We will definitely be back!!

I’ve been taking Kiara my German Shepherd here for months now. Always have her ready within the hour. Staff is super friendly and know how to handle her. She is not very well socially trained as she barks at other dogs or people, but when they have her she’s quiet and listens to them. I also love that this is really close to home. Highly recommend this place!

The pricing is not consistent and when you have a complaint the staff do not address the concern. Cut her dogs nails to short and her feet her clearly sore after the visit.

Tried this place today. Tubs were very low, and quite wide, straining my back almost to the point of injury. There aren’t any aprons available like at other local self washes leaving one quite drenched upon completion. The water pressure wasn’t too good, the blower was powerful but the ergonomics were off. The place was very clean and quite however. No treats seemingly available but the staff was attentive.
