This property! Amazing. Beautiful.Peaceful.My husband and I spent a weekend here and were delighted at the cuteness of the tiny houses. And Mark and his staff? They think of everything and are friendly, helpful, and make staying here a pleasant experience.Thighly recommend staying here.Walk over to the bay and explore the beach there.Drive up to Rockaway and walk back to the old cedar tree at the Cedar Wetlands Preserve. And then I highly recommend breakfast/ lunch at Downie's Cafe in Bay City.

Absolutely delightful lil nook/Tiny home collection by the coast. House itself was lovely as was the surrounding area, and the host provided popcorn and hot chocolate packets. No beach access, but still a lovely home base for coastal travels. Internet/TV setup was fairly slow and spotty, and the second floor was two short to be used for anything other than sleeping as you basically have to crawl on your hands and knees to get around, but it still makes for a cozy spare bedroom if you have more than two people staying, and other than those minor inconveniences it was an excellent time, and definitely hope to come back.

What a great find! We love going to the Oregon Coast and now have a favorite place to stay. Individual tiny homes with a great kitchen, queen beds (yes, plural), nice sitting area, and full T.V. It is also close to a great little hiking area and close to the creamery (ice cream!!).We have already booked a return trip.

My family spend Thanksgiving here! We were so surprised on how nice the houses were when we showed up. The grounds were really well kept. And the house was so clean and beautiful! Hard to believe anyone had stayed in there before us. Thank you to the staff for be so Hospitable. And Thank you Julie for making our Thanksgiving the best it could be. We will be back for sure! And we're definitely recommending it.Safety: We felt more safe here than anyhotel room ever. There's a key pad on the houses.Walkability: So close to the bay and the walk is so peaceful!

This is the cutest collection of tiny homes I have ever stayed at. And for being a tiny home, they're amazingly spacious and well equipped. I'm a large guy with an even larger 6'3" Viking partner and even we felt like we had enough space.Check in and check out were simple. The amenities were amazingly clean and well maintained. Better than a lot of hotels we have stayed at.Would definitely repeat!

The owner was really nice and great communication. The house was really neat and really enjoyed the stay. We had a nice little fire in the back and enjoyed some wine and cheese. It was surprisingly comfortable for the size.

We loved our stay in tiny house number 5 at Sheltered Nook. The location is really convenient, close to everything (short 5-10 min drive to town and the coast) but a little outside of town so it's very quiet and comfortable. The houses are really cleverly located in the space, giving everyone their own little spot in the community. The house is also super thoughtfully laid out with a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and two extra, big beds in the loft upstairs too (we didn't end up using these ourselves but it's really cool as an option for a family or if you're visiting with a group so more people can stay in each house if needed). The living/dining room area was also cozy as we ate some Papa Murphy's pizza fresh out of the oven and watched some TV. We briefly encountered the workers when we were heading out and they were very friendly. We're definitely planning to stay here again when we come back to visit Tillamook! Thanks so much for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay at the sheltered nook! It was comfortable and we had everything we needed to make meals in the tiny home. There were so many extras that were a nice touch also, like tea and cocoa. It was a very quiet and peaceful setting to relax, but was convenient to get to town and the beach. What a treat to stay there. We loved it!

Great stay! These are 6 tiny homes clustered in a group with garden areas in between. There are some outside common areas/activities and each house has their own little sitting area and fire pit. Very quiet and private, check in/out was very easy. Booked through airbnb.

My mom and I loved our visit here!! It's a great halfway point between camping and a hotel. It's in a very quiet location and we slept so well hidden in the trees. Amenities were great, popcorn, coffee, hot cocoa. TV was nice to watch when it was too rainy to go outside. It's also just a short walk to Tillamook Bay which was beautiful in the rain, and about a 6 minute drive to Tillamook Creamery. The house had a fridge and freezer which was perfect for our Tillamook goodies. Definitely recommend this place! We can't wait to go back!

My partner and I tested positive for COVID about 4 days before our stay. We messaged them asking for cancellation policies but didn’t hear back. The day of the stay they messaged us check-in info, we responded telling them we had COVID and would not be coming / asked them if they saw our email about cancellation. They didn’t respond to us and gave us what felt like automated messages regarding checkout / etc, as if they didn’t even see our messages. They then charged us for the stay even though we were not able to make it. We were really excited to stay here but after the horrible communication we definitely will not consider staying here in the future. There was 0 attempt at communicating or working with us, which was disheartening considering we didn’t ask to get COVID. We didn’t even need the money back, we just wanted to reschedule for a later date. If they had cared to work with us they would’ve known this from the beginning.

I have stayed here twice now, and have had a nice experience both times. Much more comfortable than staying at a hotel. They keep the property tidy; I found my tiny home well maintained, clean, and welcoming. I would highly recommend the Sheltered Nook!

This was a fun experience! We expected a very tiny space but ended up with something much more roomy and comfortable than the typical hotel room. Our unit had wifi and access to a bunch of streaming services, which I really appreciated. The location itself is within walking distance of a large nature preserve which is great for walking the pets. I highly enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back!

This was the cutest little tiny home village tucked away in the woods near Tillamook Bay (and right down the street from Tillamook creamery)! The house was clean, check-in was quick, check-out was contactless, and the grounds were cozy and beautiful! The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the pullout bed in the living room was decently comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and very nice bathroom! We definitely recommend:)

Absolutely loved this place! The tiny-homes are adorable and private. Completely self contained, with gas stove and full size fridge. Plenty of room for family and kids, with TV and wifi, and pet friendly! We only stayed overnight, could have spent days there comfortably. My only complaint would be that we stayed off season and the heaters are not strong enough to warm the place fully on a chilly night

My partner and I came for a tiny weekend getaway, and ended up staying an extra night because we loved it so much and one night just wasn’t enough. So happy that Dee was able to extend our stay! Check in and check out were easy, the property is beautiful, and the tiny house ended up being bigger than we thought. Super clean, warm, and comfortable. The kitchen was great, we cooked two delicious dinners for ourselves. The fast wifi and streaming services on the TV were a great touch as well. The perfect place for a well deserved relaxing weekend. We definitely plan on coming back.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Such a cute location, removed from town enough to feel like you're in nature but close enough for a quick trip to the Tillamook cheese factory or Pelican Bay Brewing for a beer. Service was amazing - we didn't need anything but almost wanted something to go wrong so we could talk to the wonderful lady who checked us in again. Our cabin had all of the amenities you'd need for a night or even a week. The view of the stars at night was incredible from the site!

Service, cleanliness, ambiance, coziness. All 5 stars. Went away with the Mrs. for a kid free getaway. And after staying we figured next time we could bring them. The place is pet friendly. Nice fire pit in the "courtyard". All in all it was a wonderful experience. According to my sleep tracker, I got the best night's sleep in over a year. 10/10 I would recommend. Either for a nice cozy romantic getaway, or a family vacation to the Oregon coast.

Such an awesome, cozy place to stay! Had been very curious about tiny houses, and being able to stay in one in person showed just how roomy and comfortable they are. Loved the added touches of décor and hospitality, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. It is tucked away near great nature trails yet close to stuff in town. Would love to stay here again!

The Sheltered Nook was AWESOME! When we first drove up it was kind of off the beaten path and not really "on the bay" but we soon realized after a short venture that the bay was right around the corner by car and the location was quiet and perfect. The "tiny house" was amazing! So comfortable and well maintained. It was like new and was equipped with everything. We even enjoyed a warm fire outside with the supplied wood. The bathroom was plenty big and the bed very comfortable. It really was an enjoyable stay. One cool plus was they already had streaming options available. We've traveled ALOT recently and I was glad not to have to dig out the back of another hotel tv to connect my streaming device. It really was a nice touch. I can't say enough positive things about our stay there.

Sheltered Nook is a special place tucked away in Bay City, a quiet town between busy Tillamook and the harbor town of Garibaldi. The cozy tiny houses don’t feel so tiny and have all the amenities of home. The property is very clean, safe, quiet and peaceful. Dee and her staff do everything they can to make sure you’re comfortable and feel welcome. Being pet friendly is also a plus. We’ve lodged here several times and highly recommend this as a unique place to stay on the North Oregon Coast.

This place was great! Check in was quick, with tons of puzzles, games, and movies to choose from, as well as local beers, wine, and snacks available. The house itself was spacious, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed and more. They even had a bed, bowl, and waste bags for my dog! Plus a growler in the kitchen should you want one filled from one of their local beer taps. They gave us a tour of the property and the house, then delivered us our breakfast baskets after we had settled in. The customer service is fantastic, and overall this place is phenomenal. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a coastal weekend away! We'll definitely be coming back

100% worth every penny. The Cabins are amazing quality, super clean, well thought out, and just plain nice! the bed in the main room was super comfortable and clean, the sheets were the softest on our road trip. the kitchen is well equipped with just about anything you could need. Anything that is not in the cabins seems to be available on property from the owners. they have a great little shop with snacks, DVDs to use(for free), and even Beer on tap!!the property is nice, with lots of fun things to do for people of any age really.Disk golf, Fire pit, Bean bag games, and just tons of space to do whatever you want really. Kitchi Point reserve is 5 minutes away and it is a pretty cool walk through the forest, a bit different than the usual scenic points in the immediate area. On site free parking is available. The Owners are all very kind and interesting to talk to. They know the area so if you have any questions or are looking for some direction for your day they are a valuable resource. Already have convinced a couple friends to check it out!w and will be back next time I visit the Oregon coast!
