This store has it all for every kind of project thinkable. All of the employees are very knowledgeable and they love their jobs which reflects in their helpfulness and positive attitudes. Many have worked there for years so that's a sure sign of an awesome workplace. If you need paint all of the paint dept help is on top of it and I thought I knew a lot about paint until they educated me. In the electrical & plumbing dept it's the same thing. Expert hands. The cashiers are all friendly and personable as well which makes you feel welcome there. 👍

This place is surprisingly a very busy and popular location here in Baker. Great staff and clean store. Always a great experience and greeted by a nice older gentleman. Love that personal touch.

I could seriously spend a million dollars in this place ! Seriously, with just a few shopping karts, the prices are very high. Got lots of great stuff, but people wonder why others shop online u can get the same products on amazon but about 40% cheaper. Plus on amazon you dont have 3 employees follow you up and down each aisle acting like they are working !

Honestly its a great store, but the employees are either too bored or just too friendly. Maybe because women don't know what hardware is, but I get asked if I need help several times in a matter of minutes upon entering. It can be difficult to actually shop and compare products with so many sales associates trying to 'help' you.

They seem to follow as if they think everyone is a thief. I think they could fall back a little bit and allow people to have a bit of space to actually shop for things. I couldn't think straight due to too many employees asking can I help or are you finding everything ok. Like it's cool to ask but to repeatedly asking is very distracting to the initial reason I went there. Try not to shop here because of it, only if I have too will I shop here.but the register staff is always so friendly up front.

This is my favorite Ace Hardware, always have staff available to help and they go out of their way to assist you if needed. Decent prices also, and they have a great selection. Usually have decent ammo stock also, which is a bonus!

Your greeted coming in to their shop. Staff will take you to the specific areas of the shop to help you find what you need. I have, on several occasions, had sales people go through bolt, screw and other fastener bins, in order to make sure I left with what I truly needed.Great customer service.

I loved visiting here! My mother, little brother and I all visited to get some paint and they had a very wide variety and it all looked beautiful and we found the perfect colors and the prices were expensive but for the quality and quantity of paint we were getting it was just right. Thank you Thatcher's Ace Hardware, I'll for sure be back again :).

The local Ace hardwares in Baker City and La Grande Oregon are both owned by the same people I believe. They both have very helpful staff with a nice assortment of items available. Highly recommended to try shopping local before you jump on Amazon or home Depot.

Weird store. We visited during the Shriner Parade and went in to purchase some items and asked if we could leave are car there and they were very negative like it was an ultimate sin or something that we’d ever ask such a question. We were paying customers but I guess that didn’t matter

Our local hardware store. The people here are great and so nice. Very knowledgeable about the products they sell and more than happy to help you find anything you might need. Handicapped accessible and plenty of parking.

The girls are very helpful and really nice, and just to keep it 💯, The older man that works there is a rude old war horse, and he had better count his blessings that I have changed my ways otherwise he would be missing some teeth, he made my wife CRY A WHILE BACK, FOR USING A COUPON THAT ACE SENT US IN THE MAIL. 👀 👁 👀💟💌💟💝Great employees...sometimes feels like they think ur stealing but it's ok I have nothing to hide but they are graceful about it. I am the one who walks to dollar store a lot but first has to stop in and see deuce......🐻🐾I wish I could have him for a day or on the nights n weekends💖💖💖 lol.
