The type of place I do not want to give my good review so others do no find this gem. However, that would be unfair to the awesome person who owns this place.My wife and I love thrift store shopping and are fairly new to the area (Pendleton). We decided we were going to adventure out a little further and landed on Athena, in particular their thrift store.To put it plainly, it is how I love my thrift store, decent second hand products priced for those who cannot afford new, with a friendly person running the counter.I came from Salem where many of the "thrift" stores have become too expensive. I had a few good ones I like to frequent, but they were rapidly disappearing. The prices here were very good. I ended up buying 4 high quality quilts for $50. They are gorgeous and will be loved for a lifetime.We ended up with a some clothes, kitchen gadgets, food storage, and I found a hat. I am very particular about the fit on my hat and was very happy to find one that says "FUBAR Farms" on it.We came away with a large haul for under $100. It was way more than I thought I would spend... or could afford to, but we really did find some gems.Overall, great store with a truly welcoming person who owns it. I will be back and I hope people make the trip there to check it out... and the town.

Bee's knees is the best second hand store in the country I know. I have gotten the best deals there for more than a decade. I encourage you to check it out. It is open Thursday through Sunday from 11:00AM to 5PM. Happy shopping!

Bees Knees is by far the best place to shop. Paula will give you that small town charm and make you feel right at home. If you don't see something you are looking for, I'd bet a wooden nickel she knows who has it or can do her best to get it into the store for you. Ive been shopping here for 3 years and love it. Every time I go, I find something else I just can't live without.
