Called to get an estimate for 2 S/M dogs. Owner was rude and disrespectful. She refused to give me an estimate unless I brought the dogs in. She was curt and unprofessional. She just simply didn't have time to help me. I explained people shouldn't have to bring their dogs in for service before they know how much to pay. At that point, I did not know that they had a website and on the website there are estimates. Instead of referring me to her website for estimated prices she was rude and mean. A couple weeks later I called again and her assistant gave me an estimate. I made an appointment and took the dogs in. They had the dogs for 4 hours and when I got there, they were not ready, had not had their nails done or been blown out. After waiting for 15 minutes, they brought one dog out and said they were working on the other. When they brought the other out they said they were unable to do her nails. I paid and left.

The owners and team are wonderful! My big doggo came home smelling and looking fantastic after a full service de-shed, trim, personal area trim, gland expression and glamour blow-out on his huge, furry body!Already scheduled for our next visit and grateful for this team that takes such great care of my fluffy cloud!

We just had our elder (18yrs) cat in to have some mats around her back-end removed. DiDi was so gentle, careful, and did such a great job! Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. The price was more than reasonable. The care they took was impressive. Definitely would recommend them to anyone needing quality grooming services.

I've used about 4 different groomers no one compares to them. My dog is about 120lb and hates baths, they do so good with him. He always comes back smelling great and super fluffy

Had my puppy left behind for a 1st time. Nails and face trimmed. The staff reassured me she was fine and the worse separation anxiety was mine. My little Havanese will be seeing them again. Absolutely no complaints!

This groomer was very experienced and did very quick work. My Panda came out looking like the star of the show! Spic and span clean, smells great and he knows how good he looks. They do a very good business, as they were very busy. They care for all breeds and all sizes of dogs. Five stars all around.

I used to take my chihuahua here for years and loved their work. But these folks are really offended by mini goldendoodles whose coats are notorious for matting. Every time I go in they’re complaining about the owners of them not knowing how to brush their dogs. We’re a busy family with limited funds, but we still bought their special dematting brush and use it regularly. With inflation I waited three months unusually to schedule, but the last time I went in they told me she was so matted under her ears and I should just use a regular brush. Then they charged extra. I was really disappointed at how I was treated and I think they’re being unnecessarily rude. I don’t know what happened to the nice gentleman that used to work the desk, but those girls get in a judgmental frenzy sometimes. She even had the gall to tell me she did a really good job for me. I’m going to go with a different groomer from now on because of how rude they were. They’re just blaming the owners in there and don’t know that is a breed issue.

My 80 pound staffie is a big baby when it comes to trimming his nails. He is so fearful that we have had to take him to the vet to be sedated. I came in to 'Land of Paws' today not expecting that he would allow his nails to be cut, BUT!!! They were able to do it with no stress and super quick! I am amazed!!!! I strongly recommend them. Excellent!!! Thank you so very much!

We love our dogs but we are totally not picky. They show up looking like the farm dogs they are. But when they come back from Land of Paws they are FANCY! Thanks you guys. I've taken my dogs to DeDee and Andrew for close to 20 years....they are the most generous and kindhearted people I know .,..and excellent groomers! My old dogs have died....now I have a border/Pyrenese mix .,she hates Petco and PetSmart groomers. I live in Central Point....but I'm driving to Ashland in hopes/certain knowledge! that she will be happier ...and hopefully recovery from the trauma of the other places!!

I brought my older border collieish for a haircut twice. The first time they hardly did anything. In her 11 years of grooming I have never seen such little effort for grooming. On my secound try I had a long conversation with the owner that she needs trimming all over not just her legs. We had a long conversation about u can not cut an older double coated dog hair too short or it will not grow back. I was shocked when I picked her up to see was shaved short. Every dog groumer I have talked too knows u can not do that. Sadly after a year she still has bare patches and I am afraid she will never regain her coat. Some how the owner acted like it was my fault and never said they were sorry for the mistake. They did give her a few hair treatments but it was a wast of time. Never had such a bad experience in my dogs 11 years with a groomer.

A great place! I have a VERY anxious dog; he’s a rescue and doesn’t like new places. The ladies working were very adapting and understanding. They were able clip my dogs nails with me right next to him, and we were in and out in less then 10 minutes! We will be back, for grooming needs and just for visiting and getting treats.

I have been taking my dog to get her nails trimmed at Land of Paws for years. The owners have been warm, patient, and gentle with my elderly dog each and every time. Great experience. :) My dogs are never thrilled to get their nails trimmed or even step foot into a groomers but not only did they do a great job my dogs were very comfortable being there. Very kind and caring staff too!! I would highly recommend anyone to take their pets here 100%!!

I never write reviews, and I do mean never; but, for Land of Paws, I must. New to town, I started the daunting process of finding a new vet, groomer, and a way to transport my 200-pound English Mastiff to his appointments. I'm my previous town, I would hire a wheelchair-accessible taxi, but I wasn't able to find that here. I stumbled on the number for Land of Paws and made an appointment - liking Dede, the owner immediately. I was thrilled to learn that they will pick up and deliver for a ridiculously small fee. Andrew, the other owner came over to meet my big boy. I prepared for the usual slow introduction to see if Andrew would pass the sniff test. Instead, Andrew immediately dropped down to one knee, put his face right up to Elvis' (who must outweigh Andrew by at least 50 pounds) and proceeded to talk to Elvis like an old friend. The usually very discriminating 9 1/2 year old Elvis followed Andrew to his minivan without so much as a look back at me for approval. For a minimal fee, Elvis was chauffeured, bathed, conditioned, manicured, pedicured, pampered, and delivered back home after a few hours. Upon delivery, Andrew told me how it went, then scolded me about Elvis' flea problem, and the condition of his ears and skin. He is as good as new after a visit to Dr. Knox upon Dede and Andrew's recommendation (which he was also chauffeured to). Land of Paws' service is incredible, the price is outstanding, and the people are gentle and genuine.

I am so disappointed with land of paws I dog sit. the first time I took care of this Irish Setter I was asked by owner to bring her their. These dogs have a naturally heavy oil and strong scent, I was so happy when I picked her up she smelt good for 4 days and tolerant smell after that which is good. This time within 1 day after grooming she smelt so bad, I called them they told me $45.00 to bathe her. She did not get into anything to cause her natural odor, which I was told when I called Land of Paws' She is an old dog we live in apts. always on a leash.

After moving here we weren't sure where we would take our dog for her regular nail trimming and baths. We had some bad experiences in Seattle because our dog is very calm, but doesn't like getting her nails trimmed.IShejoyed it here so much though and the owners are so sweet. We really enjoy coming here and the attention and care they give to Frankie.

I never review places but this one is a must! I visit Ashland every so often but wish I lived there to always take my four legged friends to Land of Paws! The people there are super nice, accommodating and do a FABULOUS job! I have gone to many groomers and the haircuts are always ok but no one ever really understands exactly what I want. At the Land of paws my dogs came waltzing out perfectly! They really have a special care for what they do and I highly recommend them!

Great groomers! My little dog is wary of groomers, but these folks she took to immediately. She's a Havanese, and I don't get her cut real short, or very often. They do a super job, just what I ask for. Call in advance, they are usually booked full weeks out.

Deedee and Andrew have been grooming my dogs since they've been in this location. Some of my dogs have been very nervous rescues, and they've handled them with compassion and gentleness. The best!

I went here twice! I have a 16 year old toy poodle! The first time we went there they were great, the 2nd time, they told me they would call me at 1 when he was done, I started calling at 1:30 no one would answer the phone until 2. When we got there the owner comes to the window, tells us that he’s too old can’t be groomed anymore and blaming me for him being old, just being very rude! Then I get charged more then expected and asked to leave a tip! WHO DOES THAT! GO SOMEPLACE ELSE! The owner is rude!
